Chapter 35 Broom Game
There was something magical about his Hogwarts.

Negative buffs such as a foreign country, a boarding school, and a boys' dormitory did not affect Bagir's unique love for this castle and even the school.

Every professor in it, except Snape and Quirrell. Old Dumbledore is the headmaster, but that doesn't count.

As he got to know them better, he became closer to them.

They are no longer hollow characters portrayed in just a few dozen minutes of film.

Instead, they are kind teachers who accompany you every day and devote themselves to your studies.

We were together for less than a month.

Professor McGonagall became Bagel's favorite teacher, no doubt about it.

She is a severe witch.

She loves plaid patterns, and her dressing gown, travel bag and handkerchief are all made of plaid.

She also always remains serious and impartial in everything.

But Quidditch is the only exception.

Bagir has always been curious about this.

Especially when Ron didn't get the inside information.

Nearly Headless Nick understands this, too.

But today, he might make a mistake.

Baqir wasn't going to get excited about this.

The gloom brought about by working or going to school during holidays cannot be dispelled by anything.

"It all goes back to the seventh year, your Professor McGonagall."

"At that time, she was still a Seeker."

"She has decided to pursue a career in the Ministry of Magic after graduation and give up Quidditch."

"It was a final, Gryffindor vs Slytherin."

"The winner of this match will determine who wins the Quidditch Cup."

"However, just when Little McGonagall was about to catch the Golden Snitch and put a perfect end to her Quidditch career -"

Nick drawled.

Baqir still had a gloomy face.

But the students who gathered around him gave Nick the motivation to continue speaking.

"Bang! A Bludger. Bang! It was hit by a bat, hitting Little McGreg's chest and head one after another."

Ron, Neville, Seamus, Dean from the next dormitory and others stood up and said in unison, "It's Slytherin!"

Nick nodded. "The result was that Slytherin was penalized for violations, but Gryffindor still lost the game despite losing a Seeker."

"From now on, seeing the Slytherin Quidditch team lose the game is Little McGregor's long-cherished wish!"

"She never missed a game that had Slytherin in it."

Nick looked at Baqir carefully.

He doesn't seem to have given up yet.

"Speaking of Quidditch. You must be curious about when your flying lessons will start?"

"I'm letting you know in advance that this Thursday, you will have your first flying lesson in your life!"

Baqir remained motionless.

Even the little wizards from all the surrounding wizarding families began to get excited.

But he is an exception.

Because his parents were killed by Death Eaters while playing the most popular aerial collision in Devon.

Before his memory awakened, he was not like the little wizards in ordinary wizard families who liked Quidditch.

But the sports mentioned by the little wizards around him still attracted his ears.

All they discussed was their local broom game.

Ron from Devon was the first to stand up.

It tells the story of knight sports in the sky and aerial collision games.

Each of them held a long round-headed stick in his hand, and like a knight, he used a flying broom as a horse and fought in the sky.

Until the last one.

And he, Ron himself, was the greatest knight.

No little wizard could survive his gun.

A young Hufflepuff wizard who claimed to be from Herefordshire stepped forward.

He called the mid-air collision too brutal and did not demonstrate the skill of riding a broom.

Their Herefordshire sport of riding a broomstick is the sport that best showcases the rider's skills.

Pin a pig's bladder to the sky.

The athletes take off at the same distance.

Ride the broom backwards and hit your bladder with the butt of the broom.

The one who reaches 50 points the fastest is the winner.

Simo raised his glass high to express his disdain.

He, who is from Ireland, began by introducing the broom game from his hometown - stilt fire barrel.

Each athlete held a goat's gallbladder called a dom.

Quickly passing through, being carried aloft on stilts, a burning barrel.

The one who is not on fire at the end is the winner.

This is the perfect combination of skill and courage. Riding a broom backwards is just a juggling act!

Finally, Ernie MacMillan, a Hufflepuff from Scotland, stepped forward.

"Everyone here, the sports you are talking about are all garbage."

“There is no sport like the crucible above our heads in Scotland.”

"It is the symbol of courage, the greatest test of manliness and courage."

The scene suddenly became quiet.

Ron muttered unwillingly, "This is cheating!"

No one at the Gryffindor table came out to refute.

After they heard the name of the movement.

Bajir's curiosity was finally aroused.

"Can you elaborate on this?"

Bagel's excellent performance in class, his boldness unlike Hermione's, his contempt for rules, and his handsome appearance made him undoubtedly the leader of their Gryffindor class.

He is also well-known in other colleges.

So, when McMillan saw that it was Bagel, he nodded immediately.

"This is a game that shows the courage of athletes in the face of death and blood!"

"Twelve athletes hold the crucible on their heads."

"Above them, there were as many as a hundred cursed rocks of various sizes hanging a hundred feet above the ground!"

"Once the competition begins, the athletes will take off and catch the rocks in the cauldrons above their heads."

"The athlete who catches the most and survives is the winner!"

Seamus became more and more excited as he spoke, and finally he recited poetry.

Twelve handsome and strong men
Gathering at the stadium,

With the crucible tied to the belt,

Waiting to fly,

A trumpet sounded.
They quickly soared into the sky,
However, the ten heroic athletes
Destined to die.

He concluded by lamenting: "Alas, balancing a cauldron on one's head was made an illegal sport in 1762."

Baqir opened his mouth but made no sound.

It's like being under a tongue-tying curse.

No wonder no Gryffindor stood up, this is a complete dimensionality reduction attack.

Twelve athletes, only two survive?
Such a high mortality rate.

There's a reason why there are so few wizards in Scotland.

Thursday seemed to have arrived in a flash.

In the morning, almost all students are immersed in the upcoming flight class.

For the first time, Hermione stopped pestering Basil.

She kept reciting to the others the flying instructions she had read in Quidditch From the Beginning.

Said this was another good opportunity to add points.

Let’s work together to win this year’s College Cup.

Baqir thought it was futile.

We were all classmates, and all the little wizards in wizarding families, except Neville, had played with brooms.

Hermione had only read books, and she would only be annoying.

Look, except Neville, everyone showed disgust on their faces.

Only Neville listened attentively to every word Hermione said, hoping eagerly to hear some useful knowledge that would help him sit firmly on his broomstick later.

Even Harry, who thought he would make a fool of himself in flying class, didn't really listen.

Instead, he was asking Ron for flying tips.

Hermione paid no attention and was still immersed in the speech.

Just when Bagir couldn't help but want to warn her, the postmen arrived.

Hermione closed her mouth.

Baqir looked enviously at the other students who had letters to receive.

He is an orphan and is reluctant to subscribe to a newspaper.

So no one would send him letters.

Harry, too, had received no mail, save for a text from Hagrid in the first week of September.

Now, the two have become brothers in distress.

No, there is one more person.

It was Malfoy from the Slytherin table.

When he first started school, he would often receive candy from owls.

Then he proudly opened it at the Slytherin table and distributed it to the students around him.

But recently, he seemed to have no owls delivering anything.

The two fat little guys, Goyle and Crabbe, who followed behind him like door gods, ignored him.

He is more like a follower now.
