Chapter 38 Flying Lessons

After Madam Hooch left, the students put down their brooms.

They began to discuss Malfoy's swift movements and accurate spellcasting.

Many people said that if it were them, they would probably not be able to react.

But not everyone is self-aware.

Ron was very dissatisfied.

"What's the big deal? It's just a curse."

Then he smiled again, "Haha, will he be expelled for this? The curse is a bit like dark magic, and the target is a classmate. Not to mention that he is the son of a Death Eater, and his family is not a school trustee now!"

Hermione stretched out her index finger and shook it left and right. "But according to Professor Flitwick, the evil curse is the simplest advanced spell. When we are in senior year, we will be taught some evil curses in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. For example, the Obstacle Charm, [Obstacles]. Compared to the Shield Charm that Basil cast last time, it is much simpler."

"This spell is very interesting. When used on living things, it will produce a freezing effect. Miranda Goshawk's Standard Spells states that this spell can freeze the attacker for a short period of time (about 10 seconds). In a duel, it is an indispensable and important weapon."

"If you simply use it on a spell or the air, it can be used as a shield. It will turn the area you want into an invisible 'quagmire', slowing down the life or attack that enters this 'quagmire'."

Ron's face dropped and he too drew his wand, pointing it at the grass.

"It's just a curse, who wouldn't know it?"

"There are worms in my stomach!"

A beam of green light shot straight towards the grass.

Harry took a step back subconsciously, "Are you kidding me?"

This reminded him of the green light.

Bagir squatted down and observed the grass that was hit.

A crystal clear slug appeared on the grass blade.

He asked with interest, "What kind of spell is this?"

Ron was proud, "The Slug Curse makes people vomit all the time, and vomit out shiny slugs."

Hermione pouted, "Yio, that's disgusting!"

Harry shook his head, "No, the spell works."

"Especially the color." Basil and Harry smiled at each other.

Fifteen minutes later, Madam Hooch came back with Malfoy, who looked indifferent.

Ron made a disappointed sound.

Harry was strangely relieved.

Bagel felt that this might be because Malfoy did not cause him trouble as he did in the original plot, but was instead subjected to cold violence by his Slytherin classmates.

Draco returned to the line, and Goyle quickly changed his position, standing at the left rear side, like a follower.

Everything that followed went smoothly.

Madam Hooch taught them that with the broom under their crotch, they could just push their legs hard against the ground and fly.

To fall back to the ground, you only need to lean your body forward slightly and you can fall vertically back to the ground.

Similarly, if you go to the left, you will lean to the left, and if you go up, your body's center of gravity will move backwards.

The greater the tilt, the greater the turning angle in the corresponding direction.

Bagel discovered that it was like a more comfortable, more advanced skateboard.

He quickly got the hang of it and was flying smoothly.

Although not as good as Harry, he is about the same as Ron.

And Neville.

Perhaps this time it was because Bagir was watching him, so he was no longer afraid.

He flew up smoothly.

Although some of them flew very slowly and crookedly, it was already very good.

The voice message that told Bagir that he had received 300 gems further proved this point.

Harry still flies pretty well.

Madam Hooch praised him, "I knew it! You are as good as your father! There is a trophy with the name 'James Potter' inscribed on it in the trophy display room!"

The smile on Harry's face fell.

I said thank you reluctantly.

After finding out that his father was a combination of Dudley and the Weasley twins.

Harry was not very willing to hear that he had any similarities with his father.

So he felt both proud and ashamed just now.

However, Draco Malfoy mistook this for showing off. He flew to Harry's side in a very smooth curve and looked at him provocatively.

Ron was instantly furious when he landed on the ground. "Teach him a lesson, Harry!"

Harry didn't quite want to fight.

But the students below all started to make a fuss.

"Teach that Slytherin a lesson!"

"Inherently evil Malfoy!"

"Show them what Slytherin's skills are!"

Malfoy also mistakenly thought that Harry agreed.

He leaned forward so that the broom shot towards Harry like a javelin.

Harry dodged it easily, but seemed to be irritated.

He also gripped the broom handle tightly and rushed forward.

The two of them flew back and forth, showing off their superb flying skills.

Surprisingly, Madam Hooch did not interfere.

Just said be careful.

The other students who were still flying were asked to come down, saying that their skills were not up to standard.

Give Harry and Malfoy space.

Hermione was very unhappy about this.

She thought it was unclassy.

Basil sought his own ends - to delay Harry's admission to the Quidditch team in order to obtain the gem.

Under Hermione's joyful gaze, she asked Madam Hooch, "Don't you need to take care of it? What if he gets hurt?"

Madam Hooch shook her head. "They are both good enough to join the school team." (Bajiel's heart skipped a beat)

"And Gryffindor and Slytherin. That's normal."

"Previous years were even more extraordinary."

"I tried to manage it before, but Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape didn't care and barely even deducted points."

She pointed to the window on the second floor. "You may not be able to see it, but my eyes are much sharper than most people's. Professor McGonagall is standing by the window. She is very excited now!"

"Believe it or not, after class, she will come to my house and ask Potter to participate in Quidditch training!"

Bajir was disappointed.

He shook his head.

Madam Hooch is still too conservative.

It is estimated that Harry will directly join the Gryffindor Quidditch team like in the original book.

Hermione was also in a low mood.

At this moment, she was like a little fan witnessing the collapse of her idol.

She now finally understood how indulgent Professor McGonagall was when Almost Headless Nick said that she was very indulgent with her students in the field of Quidditch.

Sure enough, when the bell rang.

Harry and Malfoy had returned to the surface.

Professor McGonagall came hurriedly from the castle.

Next to her was a tall and strong senior student.

After a fierce battle with Malfoy, Harry, who had let out his anguish with a smile on his face, froze.

Ron was also very worried.

Only Badger and Hermione heard what Madam Hooch said just now.

The other students were cheering.

However, Ron recognized the senior student at a glance.

"That's Wood! Oliver Wood! Captain and Keeper of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Why is he here?"

He quickly observed Professor McGonagall's expression.

Finally breathed a sigh of relief.

He nudged Harry with his elbow. "Don't be nervous! Didn't you see Madam Hooch didn't say anything? And Wood is here too."

"Maybe you'll get special permission to train with the Gryffindor Quidditch team!"
