Chapter 51: Strange Behavior

In the dim corridor, a game of chase was once again being played out.

Monsters are chasing and Natasha is escaping. Once the monster catches up, she will die.

She was very confused as to why this triangular iron-headed man ignored the larger Lizard Man and the stronger Winter Soldier, and instead stared at her, who was obviously the weakest, as if he was determined to chase her to the ends of the earth.

Fury grabbed its head and threw it away.

Before he could get up, the other weird creatures rushed over and surrounded him, punching and kicking him countless times, and some were pulling his head and legs, as if they wanted to break his body into the same shape as theirs.

Suddenly, with a loud bang, an invisible shock wave rushed out from the innermost part in all directions, blowing away all the strange things, and many of them stuck to the wall like a piece of pancake.

Fury dropped the last means of self-defense in his hand and struggled to stand up. Blood was flowing from his nose and mouth, and his eyepatch was removed, revealing three conspicuous scars on his back. His clothes were tattered and he looked very embarrassed.

Seeing those weirdos standing up again with their heads shaking, Fury sighed, slowly backed away, leaned his back against the wall, clenched his fists, and prepared to continue resisting.

He regretted not paying attention to the superhuman serum, which resulted in his death at the hands of these monsters.

The weirdos didn't care about the identity of the old guy in front of them and rushed forward again.

At the critical moment, several flashes of fire appeared in the darkness in the distance.

Several bullets flew at a speed invisible to the naked eye and accurately hit the strange creatures jumping in the air.

The attacked freak left the black old man who had almost no resistance and turned to the other side. Fury was refreshed, wiped the blood off his face, and trotted over there, wanting to fight the one who attacked.

Fury readily took the pistol thrown by Coulson, fought off the weirdos around him, and successfully reunited with the two of them.

Then he fought and retreated, turned a few turns, and hid in a random room.

The strange monster kept chasing after them and banging on the door, until Fury and his friends moved the long table, benches, bookshelves and other things to block the door, and the banging noise gradually subsided.

The crisis was resolved, Fury breathed a sigh of relief, looked at the familiar-looking man next to him, and asked, "My name is Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and who are you?"

"Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes, the Howling Commandos."

The cold man codenamed Winter Soldier seemed to have forgotten how to smile, and the corners of his mouth just twitched: "You can call me Bucky."

I don't know what happened to them, but they turned into monsters."

Coulson wisely did not ask about the whereabouts of the security guard and added: "I found out that this is not only S.H.I.E.L.D., but also Osborn Building. The two worlds have merged together, so we ran into those people."

"Well, that means we can meet the missing Natasha here."

“Natasha, the beautiful woman with long brown hair?” Bucky interrupted.

"Yes, you have seen her?"

"Then we need to move faster. She should be being chased by a powerful monster now."
