Li Zhi moaned and slowly opened her eyes.

It was pitch black in her field of vision. She was tied in a cross shape on a cold bed, feeling weak all over.

She tried to struggle, but her limbs were bound tightly by metal rings and she couldn't move.

Her hearing was particularly sharp in the darkness. She held her breath and tried to identify where she was by the sounds and movements around her.

Suddenly, I heard a crisp metallic sound of footsteps walking down the stairs. The sound seemed familiar.

But she couldn't concentrate on making sense because her heart rate was breaking out of control and she couldn't suppress her panic and fear.

The metallic sound stopped and the room returned to darkness and silence.

But the hairs on Li Zhi's body were already standing up. She could feel that the man had approached her. She could hear a cold breath next to her ear, as if he was sniffing her hair.

Li Zhi's heart was beating so fast that it almost jumped out of her chest. As the man approached, a fishy odor wafted into her nose, a smell that made her feel disgusted from the bottom of her soul.

Before she had time to think, the light above her head suddenly lit up and a spotlight shone on her.

Li Zhi was dazzled by the bright light. After he recovered, he saw silver metal walls on all sides of his vision.

She was tied to an experimental bed. Various instruments and equipment were placed on the operating table next to her, as well as a small silver disc, which was a private intelligent computer removed from behind her ear to prevent her from being located or sending out messages.

A male in a large black cloak stood next to her, his hood removed to reveal his face.

The man had a bald head, which was shiny under the light. His face was thin and ferocious, with sparse eyebrows and scary white eyes. He looked sinister, cruel, and extremely cunning.

He stretched out his cold and pale fingers and gently slid them across Li Zhi's face, like a centipede crawling, leaving a chill and extremely uncomfortable feeling.
