A Certain Hogwarts Magician Professor
Chapter 77 The New Wand
"Bang bang bang!"
Professor McGonagall pushed open the door and saw Harry and Ron wrapped up.
She ushered them in, and Harry and Ron sat down next to the fireplace chairs.
"Potter, Weasley, what's the matter with you?" Professor McGonagall asked.
Ron took out a horrific wand from under his robe, which was broken in half in half, connected only by a unicorn tail hair in the middle.
Ron said restrainedly, "Professor McGonagall, I would like to take time off from you to buy a new wand."
"Oh?" Professor McGonagall looked down at the broken ash wand, her bun was meticulously combed, "Weasley, you should have gotten a new wand long ago, I said why are you in class? Accidents happen again and again.”
Ron lowered his head and said nothing.
Harry added, "Professor, we might need to use your fireplace and take a trip to Diagon Alley."
Professor McGonagall looked up at them. "Of course it's fine." She waved her wand, and from the tip of the wand jumped out a silver cat with the same pattern around its eyes as Professor McGonagall's glasses.
"Weasley, come to my office," she said.
The silver cat jumped out of the window and quickly disappeared from the sight of Harry and Ron.
Harry was still staring at the window, and Ron said falteringly, "Professor McGonagall, we can go by ourselves..." He was met with a stern look from Professor McGonagall.
"Don't be silly, I won't let two second-year wizards go to Diagon Alley alone." The Transfiguration professor said.
Ron grimaced. Although Professor McGonagall didn't mention the name, he thought with his inexperienced head and knew that she couldn't be looking for twins.
Harry couldn't help but give Ron a sympathetic look, the brothers were still in a stalemate.
"Professor, what was that magic just now?" he changed the subject.
"The Patronus Charm, Potter, you will have the opportunity to touch this magic when you are in your senior year."
After waiting quietly for a while, the figure of Percy Weasley appeared in the office.
Seeing his younger brother, he was obviously taken aback, "Professor McGonagall, did Ron do something wrong?"
"No, Percy," said Professor McGonagall. "Ron is going to Diagon Alley to buy a new wand, and I need a senior to follow. There's no one better than you."
The expression on Percy's face was even more surprised. He looked at Ron and couldn't help asking him, "Where did you get the money?"
"It's none of your business!" said Ron angrily.
"I'm your brother! I warn you, if you dare to do anything—"
"Percy!" Harry interjected. "Professor Happ." He turned to Professor McGonagall, and said to her vaguely, "In recognition of the feat that night."
Professor McGonagall had a look of realization, but Percy Weasley was even more confused.
"I'm so proud of you, Ron Weasley. So are you, Potter," she said with a rare sensibility.
Percy was about to ask something else, but Professor McGonagall said, "Go on, come back early."
So the three of them stood in the fireplace, and in a green flame, their figures disappeared.
After half an hour, the three returned. Ron held a fourteen-inch wand carefully in his hand, with a happy expression on his face.
Percy's arm was on his shoulders, and it seemed that their relationship had improved.
As they walked out of the office, Ron was still raving about his new wand, "The willow body, the unicorn tail hair core, it's the perfect combination! Look at the lines, Harry..."
Back in the common room, Harry was pulled aside by Percy, who whispered, "Harry, can you tell me what the hell you guys did?"
On the way, Ron couldn't help but leak his mouth. He, Harry and Hermione shared the school's special contribution award, but when Percy pressed them, they kept their mouths shut.
Harry mumbled, "You'll know when the new term starts, he's going to surprise you."
On the other hand, Ron couldn't help showing off his new wand to the twins, so he was pulled by the twins to a duel game.
Fred said with a grin, "Ron, you need to get acquainted with the new wand as soon as possible."
"Yeah, that's right. We're here for you." George tapped him on the shoulder.
Hearing the twins' proposal, Harry was instantly moved. He saw a few simple spells from the "Dueling Book" that Professor Hepp gave him for Christmas.
He was very eager to try the effect.
"Come on, Ron," he said.
But Percy wasn't interested, so Harry, Ron and the twins walked out of the castle to a clearing by the Black Lake.
The four of them took turns as opponents, casting spells on each other.
Ron's spellcasting did get a lot smoother after the new wand, but he was still at the bottom of the game.
He was knocked down three times in a row.
And Harry defeated Ron first, and then narrowly defeated George, but when he was fighting with Fred, he stumbled under his foot and was held in place by a petrification curse.
Ron grinned happily. "So that's what Hermione did on Neville in first grade?" He kept poking at Harry with his fingers.
As soon as the spell was broken, Harry fought back—he grabbed a large clump of snow from the ground and threw it on Ron.
So under the action of force majeure, the duel game was changed to a snowball fight in the middle, and a few people rolled in the snow like they were having fun.
After Harry completed a successful sneak attack with agile skills, he was surrounded by twins. He ran for a distance in a panic until he saw the figure of Professor Hepp.
It's a pretty weird picture.
Outside the cold castle, Professor Hepp was lying on a rocking chair, reading a book leisurely.
The rocking chair squeaked and swayed back and forth.
On his head is a blue flame that stretches freely like a ribbon.
"Hello, Professor Hepp," Harry greeted.
Felix closed the book and sat up from the rocking chair, a happy expression on his face: "Hello, Potter."
At this time, Harry noticed that the title of the book Professor Hepp was reading turned out to be "The World's Jokes Collection", which did not look like a book from the wizarding world.
But it had a transparent pearl color like a ghost. Harry suddenly thought of the gift that the professor once gave Hagrid, and he had an idea subconsciously.
Could it be that this book is also a modified version of Professor Haipu?
"Harry—"
"Don't run!"
Ron and the twins followed, and they saw Professor Hepp as well.
"You're having a snowball fight?" Felix asked.
"We're practicing duels, and it's halftime," Fred said. "Professor, can you give us some pointers? You've done a great job at the dueling club!"
"Ah, not today. I've decided not to think about anything about magic today." Felix blinked, "But don't worry, I'll restart the dueling course after school starts."
"By the way," Felix looked around. "Why didn't you see Granger? Wasn't she with you?"
"Uh, professor," Harry stammered, "Hermione she, she's sick."
