A day at Hogwarts

Chapter 168 Seems like a useless hack

In the Gryffindor common room, Percy pulled Fred and George into a corner and warned them very seriously not to run out again at night, otherwise he would write a letter to their parents.

The sixth child of the Wei family stood by the side with a speechless face, and waited for the third child to finish training the fourth child and the fifth child before saying to the third child, "If you pass by the kitchen when you are patrolling, please bring Charles some food."

Percy asked in surprise, "Charles isn't awake yet?"

Ron nodded and said, "He's still asleep. Professor Dumbledore said he might be too tired. Sometimes divination takes a lot of energy."

Charles has been asleep for two days since he came back from Dumbledore's office. If he hadn't yelled unconsciously from time to time, everyone would have thought he was dead.

This matter has been spread in Hogwarts. Some people think that he made the divination at a very high price, while others think that he was killed like Mrs. Norris because he uncovered the conspiracy of the person who opened the chamber of secrets. For this reason Malfoy is still lying in the school infirmary.

Percy agreed to Ron and left the common room, and now only the patrolling prefects could walk in the castle at night.

Percy straightened his robe and clothes in front of a mirror on the stairs on the first floor to make himself look more refreshed and handsome, practiced his smile, and finally took out his gum and started chewing.

At five minutes to eight, a girl hurried over.

Penelope Clearwater, one of the sixth-year prefects of Ravenclaw College, saw that Percy was already waiting there, and rushed over quickly, and then the two began to conduct the human Magdelburg hemisphere experiment.

At eight o'clock sharp, Percy and Penello began to patrol the first floor, during which they continued the experiment in a place where no one was haunted.

It was a calm night, and at five minutes to twelve, Percy came to the kitchen after shift change and brought back a basketful of food to Charles.

Just when Percy was about to walk in front of the Fat Lady's oil painting, he suddenly turned around and asked loudly, "Who's there?"

The corridor was empty, not to mention people, and there was not even half of Peeves.

He didn't take it lightly, he did hear some footsteps just now, so he took out his wand and asked cautiously, "Peves, is that you?"

Peeves was the only one who made noise in the middle of the night, and of course, it might also be the two younger brothers who liked to play pranks.

At this moment, the fat lady woke up with a start, and asked Percy vigilantly, "What's the matter? Is that monster coming?"

Percy backed away slowly, and stood in front of the portrait for a while before saying, "Maybe I misheard, or it might be Peeves' prank."

Then he spoke the password, and the Fat Lady opened the door.

When Percy got in, he seemed to smell a girl's scent, but he didn't care, thinking it was left when the prefect went out to change the shift just now.

The common room was quiet, only one person was sitting blankly on the seat in front of the fireplace.

"Charles?!" Percy was taken aback, "You're awake!"

Charles seemed a little confused, and just replied, "Just woke up."

Percy went over with the basket and said, "You have slept for two days, Ron and the others are afraid that you will wake up hungry, so let me bring you something to eat along the way."

"Thank you." A smile appeared on Charles's face, "I'm really hungry."

After taking the basket, he took out a sandwich and ate it. After taking another sip of pumpkin juice, he asked Percy, "How did you go on a night tour like Fred and George?"

Percy shook his head, and recounted the recent strengthening of curfew and patrols at Hogwarts.

Charles stopped spreading jam on the bread, sniffed his nose, shook his head and said, "This can't be your excuse, you smell like a girl."

"Unexpectedly, the only seemingly honest child of the Weasley family turned out to be dishonest at times."

Percy's face immediately became as red as her hair, and she shook her head hurriedly and said, "No, nothing, I didn't secretly kiss Penello while on patrol."

Charles rolled his eyes at him, shook his head after eating an egg tart and said, "Isn't it just that I have a girlfriend, there is nothing to deny."

"How old are you? I thought she was a child like Ginny. People who like her dare not say it."

Percy's red face suddenly turned pale, and he hurriedly asked, "Who is it?!"

Seeing that he wanted to kill someone, Charles ate the cake and said, "The other party has no house or car... Oh, he has a broomstick, but he has a lot of savings in Gringotts, and he's a nice guy."

Percy's eyes widened, he subconsciously took out his wand, and asked, "You're not talking about yourself, are you?"

Charles gave him another pair of white eyes, ate the beef pie and said, "I have a house and a car, and the car was given by Mr. Weasley."

Percy put down his wand, thought for a moment and asked him, "Harry?"

Charles nibbled on an apple and said, "See for yourself."

Percy began to sit there in memory mode.

While eating finger biscuits with jam, Charles said, "Be careful when you patrol. I don't know if Fred and George's corner detectors have been made. I suggest you bring a mirror to observe."

Percy just nodded.

After sitting for a while, he went back to sleep. Charles said that he was not sleepy after sleeping for too long, so he sat down for a while.

It was a bit cold in the castle in November, but fortunately, the fire in the fireplace was always burning, and it was warm to sit by.

Charles sat there quietly, looking dazed.

After leaving the principal's office that day, he had a day off, thinking that it was time to start further research on the hack that he had obtained in Merlin's inheritance in Hot Cave.

The ball of light has been very quiet since it entered Charles' body, and if you don't take the initiative to touch it, it's as if it doesn't exist.

When he went to observe, he found that it was simply a huge library.

As a time traveler, Charles is not surprised by other worlds, and he can be sure that this library comes from another world.

Because there are many things in the book that cannot appear in this world, such as those elves and dwarves in the illustrations.

Charles felt that this thing would not be put there for no reason. There must be something useful in it, but it is more difficult to find.

So he took this opportunity to search again, but unexpectedly found a translator.

What was even more unexpected was that there was a problem with the "installation" of the translator. His broken soul made the translator "install" many times, and the impact caused by this caused him to crash.

It's just that he didn't find a search engine, so he could only search for a book slowly to see what other books besides "Slime Postpartum Care".

Charles sat in the common room until two or three in the morning when the window was thrown open and Ruby came in.

It seemed to be a little moved by Charles being up so late and waiting for him, so he ran over and rubbed his head.

Charles took off the backpack on its back, and there were only letters in it.

Now Hogwarts needs mature mandrakes, but its growth also depends on the season. There are no mature mandrakes in the magic schools north of the equator, and the ones in Waggadu will have to wait until January next year.

It stands to reason that Castro Buscher in the Amazon rainforest in the southern hemisphere should have one, but he doesn't have any friends there, so he can only ask Lupine to make a trip.

After reading the letter, Charles hugged the ruby. After this trip, it finally lost ten catties.
