A treasure-appraisal maniac
Chapter 615 Tianzi Jar
Chen Dashan's Jinsha Culture Ten-Section Jade Cong is not a treasure handed down from generation to generation, but was excavated decades ago before the Jinsha site was unearthed.
According to the relevant provisions of the Cultural Relics Law, the cultural preservation department can take back the cultural relics unconditionally.
However, considering Chen Dashan's experience, Zhang Yanhe decided to help Chen Dashan in disguise in the form of donation.
Considering Chen Dashan's special situation, Zhang Yanhe called Ma Guohui, director of Jincheng Museum.
An advance payment of 30,000 yuan was made from the Jincheng Museum's account, and a professional funeral team was hired to transport Chen Dashan's wife.
Chen Dashan burst into tears with gratitude and took the initiative to explain the whereabouts of the other six jade artifacts dug out that year, which surprised Zhang Yanhe.
If we could recover those six cultural relics, it would be a great achievement!
In this way, everyone is happy.
Chen Dashan's matter has been fully delegated to Ma Guohui for follow-up.
The treasure appraisal meeting in the afternoon started as scheduled.
With Lu Fei joining, the afternoon process was nearly twice as fast as before.
In one afternoon, Lu Fei identified more than 170 objects in total. Although he didn't see any good things, Lu Fei's skill shocked everyone.
After half a day of appraisal, Lu Fei's name has become a mythical existence in the eyes of his peers in Jincheng.
After finishing work in the afternoon, Zhang Yanhe shamelessly went to Lu Fei's house for dinner under the guise of accompanying Wang Zhenbang.
After the meal, everyone dispersed. Lu Fei went to Ma Tengyun's room and brought back a brocade box.
After returning to the room and locking the door, Lu Fei sat in front of the desk and opened the box excitedly.
What was inside was Bill's doucai dragon-patterned sky-shaped jar, which Ma Tengyun bought from Bill for 50,000 yuan in real money.
This sky-shaped jar has a diameter of six centimeters, a height of ten centimeters, and a full diameter of about eight centimeters.
The jar has a straight mouth, plump shoulders, and round feet, and the glaze is smooth and translucent.
The abdomen is decorated with two sets of dragon patterns. The dragon patterns are painted in blue and white, with wings spread out and the head held high. There are large and small cloud patterns floating around, all painted in green, with blue and white outlines.
The neck and shins are decorated with regular banana leaf patterns, with blue and white outlines and green color filling.
Echo below.
Dragons are extraordinary things. It takes five hundred years to become a horned dragon, and it takes a thousand years to become a Yinglong. It is even more precious among dragons.
The belly of the jar is decorated with green cloud patterns, with blue and white dragons running through it. A red lotus petal pattern is painted on the shoulders and belly. The enamel is white and moist, and the painting is vivid and bright.
The fetus is white and delicate, thin and light, almost as thin as a cicada's wings.
Under the light, Lu Fei's fingers in the jar were clearly visible.
The white glaze is soft and shiny, the exterior and interior are the same, perfect.
Looking at the bottom of the money, the word "天" in blue and white regular script is still quite satisfactory.
Lu Fei took out a small medicine bottle, dropped a drop of medicine on his thumb, and then gently rubbed it on the Tianzi with his thumb. An incredible scene appeared.
The stroke of the last stroke suddenly had a small hook, from the previous word "天" to the word "无".
It was at this moment that the highly imitated Tianzi jar in the counterfeit village of the Republic of China turned into a serious Chenghua Doucai Yinglong pattern Tianzi jar.
This is not magic, but a deception done by Lu Fei.
From the moment Bill invited the Tianzi Jar out, Lu Fei was convinced that this matter was undoubtedly the authenticity of the Huadoucai Tianzi Jar.
Before getting started, Lu Fei's thumb had already been coated with potion.
The moment he took the Tianzi jar from Bill's hand, Lu Fei had already seen the exact position of the word "天".
Hold the upper edge of the jar with your left hand, and while holding the bottom with your right hand, your thumb has already done the work.
Lu Fei's thumb was coated with either magic water or a covering repair agent most commonly used in porcelain repair.
Lu Fei's covering agent is colorless and odorless. After it is applied and air-dried, it will cover the original color. It's that simple.
However, just relying on memory and feel, he can accurately cover the stroke of the pen without harming the other parts. It is easy for Lu Fei's skilled hands. As for others, they can only fall behind.
Out of reach.
When Zhang Yanhe got hold of the Tianzi Jar, Lu Fei was extremely nervous, fearing that this old boy would spoil his good fortune.
Fortunately, Zhang Yanhe's eyes were dim and he didn't watch carefully, so he managed to escape.
Lu Fei hides the truth and harms foreigners, which seems a bit wicked.
But there is nothing that can be done about it. Lu Fei has enough reasons to do immoral things, because this Tianzi jar is too tempting to Lu Fei.
This jar is called Chenghua Doucai Yinglong Pattern Tianzi Jar.
The greatest value among them lies in the two words "Ducai" and "Tianzi Can".
Let’s talk about fighting colors first.
Doucai was named after the Qing Dynasty and was called "Doucai" in the Ming Dynasty.
This craft began in Xuande and reached its peak during the Chenghua period.
In this technique, the outline is first drawn with blue and white, and then the outline is filled with color.
The process is complicated and the success rate is not high, but if the firing is successful, every piece must be a high-quality product.
In the early days, the boundary between Wucai and Doucai was unclear, and many Doucai were called Wucai.
In the middle of Ming Dynasty, especially after the Qing Dynasty, the craftsmanship characteristics of doucai were very obvious and clear at a glance.
Doucai is very famous, mainly because Chenghua Doucai is famous all over the world.
The clearest record is in "Records of Shenzong": "Shenzong promoted food, and there was a pair of Chenghua colored chicken jars and cups in front of the emperor, worth one hundred thousand."
In the middle and late Ming Dynasty, a pair of Chenghua doucai cups was worth one hundred thousand taels of silver, which would scare anyone to death just thinking about it.
After talking about fighting colors, let’s talk about the “Tian Zi Jar”.
Among Chenghua doucai, apart from the cup, the most famous one is the Tianzi jar.
Write the word "天" on the bottom of the jar as a deposit, and write "Cheng Kiln Tian Zi Jar" in the clearance file.
Generally speaking, among porcelain bottles, the most valuable ones are, followed by jars.
In the past, antique dealers used to say: "It's lying on its back"
Just dishes.
As for the jar, it is neither high nor low. It can be regarded as "squatting", so its status is not as good as that of the bottle.
But the Tianzi jar is different and has a very high status. Any porcelain with Tianzi style must be imperial porcelain.
Why is the word "天" written on the bottom of the Tianzi jar?
Generally speaking, they are arranged according to the "Thousand Character Classic".
The opening line of "The Thousand-Character Essay" is "The sky and the earth are dark and yellow, the universe is vast, the sun and the moon are waxing, and the stars and constellations are listed."
That's why we often say "Number One in Heaven".
Among the cultural relics of the Forbidden City, the one designated as "Tian Zi No. 1" is a small bench.
It is said that when arranging the numbers, the staff saw this small bench as soon as they entered the door, so they ranked it as the number one in the sky.
The Tianzi jar is not only precious today, but also particularly precious in history.
There is a record during the Qianlong period. On June 19, the ninth year of Qianlong's reign, a kiln Tianzi jar with missing glaze was sent from the Yangxin Hall Manufacturing Office.
Emperor Qianlong sent an order: "Take a jar with a Tianzi lid that lacks glaze and hand it over to Tang Ying to have the glaze repaired. If it can be mended, send it over. If it can't be mended, don't mend it, but still send it over. I admire this."
Tang Ying was very nervous after seeing the imperial edict. He took the jar back to Jingdezhen and wondered how to fix the glaze.
After a few months, he made three new pairs and brought them back to the emperor along with the original jars.
He wrote the following memorial: "The servant Fucha sent the Tianzi covered jar to the kiln. It has been in the kiln for a long time and the fire has subsided. If the missing glaze is to be replenished, it must be put into the furnace and refired.
I was afraid that the furnace fire would attack me, and the texture of the old kiln was really not suitable, so I didn't dare to touch up the glaze rashly.
I would like to go to the kiln and make three pairs of them according to the style and size of the original jars. I will send them to the capital in a respectful manner. I will also send the original jars to the kiln and pray to the emperor for his wisdom. "
Who is Tang Ying?
Even he didn't dare to touch up the glaze. You can imagine how awesome the craftsmanship is and how precious the artifact is.
