First of all, thank you to the readers who have read this book.

Without your support, I would never have been able to write a million words.

This month last year, I finished my first book, which was over 500,000 words long. The reason was that I couldn’t continue writing.

This time I exceeded one million, which feels like a big improvement.

Em... Let’s stop the nonsense first, let’s get to the point.

When I decided to write the idea of "Add more points to become stronger" last year, my idea at the time was actually very simple. If this book could make two thousand yuan a month, I would keep writing it, two million words, three million words. The words are all good.

In order to write a long story, I specially arranged for an inconspicuous little character to grow up from an ordinary person, just to lengthen the writing cycle.

But the actual situation is that starting in June, this book entered the end of the plot of Fighting to Break the World. It was very difficult for me to write because it felt like I was repeating things all the time.

Among them, the most obvious point is that the add-point panel appears less and less.

This situation is obviously wrong.

After all, adding points is the heart of the book.

Then, while thinking about it, I kept updating, and at the same time I went to see the great master of Tiancan Tudou to understand what the world in his works was like.

Because there is a transition from Dou Po to Overlord, not all readers may have seen Overlord, and there must be a transition process.

But unfortunately, I never came up with anything new.

The only thing that flashed through my mind was the repeated plot in the book like pretending to be a slap in the face.

The protagonist, Lin Xiu, has already completed starting a family, marrying a wife and having children in the world of Dou Po.

This is a very primitive desire and goal.

When this point is satisfied, it means that even if Lin Xiu goes to the world, he can no longer expand this aspect of the plot.

After all, neither the Little Medical Fairy nor Zi Yan would allow it.

And for me, the author, it means there are even fewer plots to develop.

I originally thought about using supporting characters to expand the plot.

For example, after Zhukun was imprisoned by Tuoshe for so many years, would he go to the world to seek revenge from the ancient Emperor Tuoshe?

For example, Xiao Xuan and Gu Yuan were brothers when they were young. After becoming clan leaders, they each shouldered different responsibilities. Now they have become Dou Emperor together. Without restraints, what kind of stories will happen in the world.

I've tried to think about it.

Just reality - the data in the book kept telling me something.

"You little trash, don't think so much! You don't have the strength at all. You just think well, but you haven't laid out the point you want to express at all. The readers are not willing to read it at all..."

The imagination is beautiful, but the reality is cruel.

I did not do these things well before, and the loss of readers was extremely serious. I had no choice but to give up and give Lin Xiu a better ending in Fighting to Break the World.

In May, I noticed that the data of this book began to decline sharply, and I tried to save it.

I had another idea at the time.

Since Lin Xiu's life is perfect, can I understand the upper world from the perspective of Lin Xiu's child, and experience Lin Xiu's experience in the upper world from the perspective of a child?

This leads to the disappearance of Lin Yinan before the finale.

As for the Tomb Worm Queen, I started to think about this aspect.

The above is the situation of the book "Add Points and Become Stronger".

Generally speaking, with the addition of the line of becoming an emperor, it can be considered a successful conclusion, but there are still some flaws in the story of each character.

I am very grateful to every book friend for your continuous support in the past eight months. It is your daily pursuit of reading that has allowed me to achieve the record of completing a million words.

I have been writing this book very seriously, and I have had many ideas in the middle. Due to reality, some things cannot be realized.

I would like to say sorry to all my friends who are reading.

The summary of the book "Add more points to become stronger" officially ends here. Below are some of my own thoughts. It is more like a summary of more than half a year of coding day and night. You don't need to read back. .

It was purely an accident that I wrote my first book, "Showdown with Xiao Yan."

When the idea comes, I have the urge to write.

The book was published from the beginning of March to the end of June of the same year. Maybe it was the blessing of the newcomer's halo that made me realize that making money by writing a book is so simple. It costs more than 3,000 yuan a month. Just write casually. This is no better than working in a factory day and night. Want an easy shift?

And this idea continued until I wrote the second book in September, which was the unfinished one, Many Children and Many Blessings.

At that time, I was undoubtedly in a state of mind when I started reading a book. Looking at the dozen or so books on the list, I thought I could do it if I read it. During September and October, I could write 300,000 words without receiving a total of 800 yuan in royalties. .

At this point, I finally realized that writing a book must be done with awe. Only if something is written seriously will anyone be willing to buy it.

Readers can taste the attitude of writing a book!

I remember one thing very clearly at that time. It was my birthday in October. When I woke up that morning, I suddenly received a message from my sister saying that my parents were coming to my city to celebrate my birthday.

At that time, I only had more than 200 yuan in cash on me, and I still owed more than 800 yuan in credit card bills.

At that moment, I was undoubtedly extremely panicked.

It was a very uncomfortable birthday that day. In order not to worry my parents, I used my remaining money to go to the supermarket and buy more than 100 dishes, prepare meals, and wait for my parents to come.

At that time, my mother almost scared me to tears when she said that I would not go to a restaurant for my birthday, so I pretended to say that there were no good restaurants around to shirk my responsibility.

I really didn't have much money in my pocket.

In the next half month, while updating the book "Many Children and Many Blessings", I was thinking about what kind of book I could write to make money.

After thinking it over and over again, I found that I was not suitable for writing that kind of brain-hole gimmicky article.

Because since I started reading online novels in junior high school, I have been exposed to stories that are told in a leisurely manner.

At that time, Qidian's "Final God's Duty" was very popular, and books like "I Use Taoism to Live Forever" performed very well.

I found that when I read this type of book again, my heart can calm down, and I can read it and have fun.

So, I thought of the golden finger and added some panels.

This is not something very innovative, it is an old routine that has been written out by people a long time ago.

But at that time, I just wanted to make some money to pay off my credit card and pay the rent.

So, I returned to the essence of writing a book, starting from my heart, and writing what I want to write.

Then I wrote the beginning.

At first, I didn't have any expectations for this book, because the story was too old-fashioned, as if readers from ten years ago had traveled through time and space to write novels now.

From submitting the manuscript to signing it, to testing the waters, I was always nervous and unsure.

Most of my friends around me were not optimistic.

After all, Doupo fan fiction is about the stories of the original characters in Doupo. If you create an original character and don't let it interact with Xiao Yan and Xun'er, who would read it?

And this nervous thought lasted until I received a short message from pk2.

This means that I have been promoted to the next level. As long as I write well, I will still have the recommendation of paid 1 and paid 2, and there will be opportunities for exposure!

So I started to write seriously.

At that time, I saw a post where the publisher said that if he wanted to make 3,000 yuan a month, he would be able to make it as long as he kept writing around the core selling points.

So I had the first 100,000 words, and the fishing plot of nearly 30 chapters after it was put on the shelves.

Looking back now, it is hard to imagine that these 100,000 words were actually written by one person. It was really immature in November last year.

I finished writing in November and received over 700 yuan in royalties, but it gave me hope of getting full attendance.

So I wrote 6,000 words in the middle of December, hoping to reach 200,000 words, and with the recommendation of the paid second book, I could strive to get a full attendance bonus of 1,000 yuan in December.

After that, there was nothing else. I wrote every day, dealt with relatives during the New Year, and typed 4,000 words on my phone at night in bed.

This continued until I wrote more than 600,000 words, and then I found that I couldn't write anything new, as if I was always repeating the same routine.

During this period, I tried to learn reversals, twists and turns, and three turns and four shocks.

None of them worked.

And this situation continued until last month, and I finally couldn't hold on.

Because Doupo Shijie was finished, the ending of this book may not be eye-catching, but at least it won't be too bad.

So, on July 1st, I wrote until one o'clock in the morning, and finally confirmed my original intention and typed the three words "The whole book is finished".

I was afraid that when I saw that there was still 2,000 yuan in royalties on July 3rd, I would continue to write those routines that made me sick.

It's not that repetition is bad, but it's unnecessary, because if I continue to write, I won't get anything that will help me grow, and I'm just wasting my time, the readers' time and money.

In June, I saw a comment from a reader, which left a deep impression on me.

He said, "Author, is it meaningful for you to continue writing like this?"

Yes, it's meaningless, but I'm really scared of being poor. I'm so poor that I can only heat a pack of hot pot base over and over again for more than a week, and add some lettuce and winter melon to it every day to have a meal.

If the soup is not enough, add some boiling water, and if the taste is light, add a little salt.

But life is still long, and if I want to write better, I can only give up the immediate interests, learn, and settle down.

Come on! Listen to the stars at night!

I hope to write better works.
