African Entrepreneurship Record

Chapter 1293 Dismemberment

As India is a colony, British companies can obviously have free hands and engage in iron-blooded suppression in the UK, which will cause public opinion and social problems. In India, the people at the bottom of India have no human rights. In addition, India's "perfect" caste system, At first glance, India looks like an investment paradise.

This is an "advantage" that other British colonies do not have. After all, the British only slightly increased taxes on the Americas. As a result, the manor owners and businessmen in the thirteen North American states revolted.

Of course, investing in industry in India is obviously not without its problems. For example, Indians are poorly organized, weak in self-motivation, muddle along, good at debating but not good at solving problems, etc.

Even so, India's shortcomings are not impossible to overcome, and this is also a concern for East African governments.

Freer said: "India has the foundation to become a great power. Once it becomes independent from Britain and inherits British industry in India, it will immediately become our biggest threat in the Indian Ocean."

"So in order to eliminate this hidden danger in advance, we should strengthen our influence in India. It is best to encourage and support the conflicts between different ethnic groups and religions in India, so that in the future, India, even if it is independent from the British, will not be able to become a unified country. nation."

"This is similar to our arrangement for the East Indies (Indonesia) under the Dutch rule. The East Indies can threaten our colonies in the South Seas, and we must be prepared to break up this area in advance."

"Among the countries along the Indian Ocean, India is one of the countries that has the potential to pose a threat to East Africa, followed by the Ottoman Empire and Persia, and finally the British colony of Australia."

There are currently only two world powers on the coast of the Indian Ocean, one is East Africa and the other is the Ottoman Empire. Of course, East Africa is one of the recognized powers, while the Ottomans can only be considered a great power.

East Africa's evaluation criteria for countries and regions that can pose a threat to East Africa's Indian Ocean hegemony is also very simple, that is, looking at area and population. Overall, it is obvious that India is a powerful region in the Indian Ocean region, second only to East Africa.

There is no doubt that the Ottoman Empire is currently stronger than India. After all, the Ottoman Empire is an independent country and can freely develop its own military and industry. If the British are excluded, the Ottoman Empire can conquer India by force.

However, the Ottoman Empire only covered an area of more than one million square kilometers, and a large part of the area was still desert, with a population of only about 20 to 30 million. India's population was more than ten times that of the Ottoman Empire, and its area was nearly twice that of the Ottoman Empire. And it has a lot of arable land resources.

In addition, the Ottoman Empire has been hit by the Western world for a long time, which has caused its power in the Indian Ocean to shrink to only two narrow areas of the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf, and there are not even a few ports that can be used.

Therefore, East Africa ranked the Ottoman Empire after India. Of course, if the Ottoman Empire reorganized the entire Arabian Peninsula, this situation would definitely not be what East Africa wanted to see.

In addition to India and the Ottoman Empire, Persia is also a country that East Africa needs to guard against, but East Africa has never found an excuse to penetrate Persia.

The reason for this situation is that Persia was supported by two major powers in the past, namely Britain and Russia.

However, with the end of the change of the Russian regime, East Africa has the ability and obligation to represent the world's reactionary forces into Central Asia, Persia and other regions.

In the past, other countries could tolerate backward regimes like Russia controlling Central Asia. After all, no matter how powerful Russia was, it would not be able to kill them all. The Russian Labor Party regime was a thorn in the side and flesh of reactionary forces around the world.

Finally, there is Australia. Although the British colony of Australia now looks unremarkable and cannot even get rid of the name of a penal colony for criminals, Australia is the largest among the countries and regions in East Africa that are threatened by the Indian Ocean.

Freer said: “The empire cannot tolerate the birth or rise of any country that may threaten our rights in the Indian Ocean, so we must prepare corresponding plans for these countries and regions that may threaten the strategic security of the empire and the future order of the Indian Ocean. ”

"As for the Indian region, my view is to use the complex local ethnic groups and religions to divide India into three to four or even more countries and regions in the future, and to prevent the resurgence of Arab religion in the Indian region."

Why Freer focused on the Arab religion? In addition to East Africa's consistent vigilance against the power of the Arab religion, the fundamental reason is that the Arab religion is the most likely threat to East Africa's Indian Ocean hegemony.

Before Western countries intervened in the Indian Ocean, Arab religious forces were widely distributed along the coast of the Indian Ocean, such as Zanzibar, which was wiped out by East Africa in the west, the Somali countries, the Kingdom of Buganda, or the Arab countries that currently exist along the northern coast of the Indian Ocean.

Or the Arab countries or regions in Southeast Asia, including the Malay Peninsula, Kalimantan, and the East Indies.

Just imagine, if under the influence of the Arab religion, which has a strong ideological unification ability, a unified Arab country is formed that spans most of the areas around the Indian Ocean, it will definitely be a disaster for East Africa. They don’t even need to unify, just They need to form a loose alliance, which will change the power structure of the entire Indian Ocean.

And Arabism happens to be the dominant religion in the South Asian subcontinent. This is not an exaggeration. After all, the Mughal regime that finally unified India in modern history was an Arab regime. Today, many rulers of Indian princely states are Arab believers.

If it were not for the arrival of Western forces, Arabism would have continued to rule India and eliminated various local sects in India.

Take India in the 21st century in the previous life. Even if Bangladesh and Pakistan were separated, India still had more than 200 million Arabs. This shows the strong competitiveness of Arabs in India.

After all, the Indian government's suppression of Arabism in the previous life was not harsh. Under such circumstances, it can still produce so many Arabs, which shows its tenacious vitality.

Freer said: "We should support the development of other forces in India besides Arabism. If India becomes independent and becomes an Arab country, it will directly become a bridge and hub for communication between Southeast Asia and the Middle East."

"So after the dismemberment of India, it must be divided into several countries that are capable of confronting Arab forces. Whether they are Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Catholics, or even Orthodox Christians, as long as they are not Arabs, they can be supported."

"In addition, we can also support internal forces in India according to ethnicity and race, such as the Dravidians who are widely distributed in southern India."

"The three colonies that France tried to trade to us are just within the scope of the Dravidians. We can build a new nation in South Asia by fictitious Dravidians."

The Dravidians are actually the most primitive indigenous people in India, and may be the creators of ancient Indian civilization. As the Aryans moved south, the Dravidians were constantly conquered, so the Dravidian forces in southern India, on the contrary, better preserved their ancestral characteristics.

The Dravidians are also one of the representatives of the brown race, and have some origins with the indigenous people of Southeast Asia or Australia.

Freer's idea is to restore a Dravidian state. As for the plan, it is just like the export of nationalism by France, which led to the current half-dead Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Even if this country cannot be independent, as long as they can play the role of Hungary today and hold back India's development, it will be more beneficial to the future of East Africa.

Of course, in the past, the British divided India into two countries based on Hinduism and Arabism. One important function was to isolate the expansion of Arabism.

In Freer's strategy, India is obviously not so important. After all, the British did this because after India's independence, Britain basically could not intervene.

Now that East Africa is a "capable" and "responsible" Indian Ocean power, it naturally bears the heavy responsibility of striking the Arab forces along the Indian Ocean coast, and as long as East Africa does not decline or the regime changes, this situation will continue.
