Alien Knights

Chapter 11 Captivity

Slowly opened the door, first stuck out his head and looked around.

Very well, that little boy Edgar isn't here.

Todd tightened his monk's robe, stepped on the stone slab carefully, followed the direction of the sound, and walked forward.

He knew in his heart that this kind of behavior of exploring the unknown might bring serious consequences, but the curiosity that was already in the terminal stage of cancer prompted him to let go of all risk predictions and survival instincts, and walked towards the possibly most dangerous place.

Holding up the candle on his chest that he had asked for from Master Melis, Todd thought to himself mockingly while carefully choosing where to stay by the light.

I remember a famous psychological test in my previous life. In a closed room, there was a bright red button with a note on it saying "Don't press it". Then I observed the performance of people who walked into the room. Some people would ignore the button from the beginning to the end, some people would think twice before pressing the button, and some people would press it without thinking.

Todd clearly remembered how he answered that test in his previous life.

He would not only press the button, but also try various tricks such as "short try", "three quick hits", "press and hold", etc., to observe what would happen in each case... It was nothing less than the psychological counselor at the time.

Pass through the monks' gathering area and pass through the main hall and corridor.

I came to the "short head" at the end of the cross architectural pattern of San Sidro Abbey, walked through a cemetery, and walked down the underground passage that Huggins took himself through on the first day, and the screams of the man in my ear became louder and louder.

Swallowing deeply, Todd leaned against the wall of the passage, protected the faint flame of the candle with one hand, and stretched forward with the other, going deeper and deeper.

Finally, they came to the metal door with four strange "proverbs" engraved on it.

Todd slowly pushed open and slipped through the gap between the door panels.

The torch in the originally dark lobby was lit by someone. The flickering fire combined with the flickering statue, coupled with the wailing from time to time, made Todd's heart pounding.

Maybe it's still too late to go back now. As soon as such thoughts arose, he immediately denied them.

If he just went back to bed without knowing anything, tossing and turning and staying up all night would be more unbearable for him than death.

The footsteps continued. Todd came to the end of the hall, groped the wall by the firelight, and found an inconspicuous wooden door behind the statue. He tried to push it with his hands, and the door opened without any hindrance.

A gust of draft blew from behind the door, nearly extinguishing the flame of the candle.

Todd hurriedly used his body as a barrier to block the direction of the wind, and watched the flames rise again, feeling a little relieved.

The screams became clearer, and some meaningless jumbled words accompanied by pleas and roars became even more strange and shocking through the underground echo.

Then follow a long corridor to an attic, and carefully descend a long revolving wooden ladder.

Todd finally came to a place similar to a cave, turned a few turns, and came out sideways from the narrow stone crevice, everything in front of him made him cover his mouth in surprise.

In the wide cave, a man about two meters tall was bound by four huge iron chains. His eyes were blood red, the blood vessels on his body were dilated, and his hands and feet seemed to be twice the size of ordinary people.

Each palm hit the hard stone wall, bringing up fluffy stone chips, leaving fingerprints one by one; each foot stepped on the compacted ground, crushed pieces of rock and soil, and stepped out deep pits one by one.

The giant's face was distorted, and his mouth was drooling. Sometimes he roared angrily, and sometimes he begged loudly.

"It hurts...it hurts! Let me go, please! Let me go! My body is going to... crack!"

This TM is not human at all, is it? !

Todd saw the giant's face clearly through the candlelight, and suddenly found that the other's face seemed familiar.

"You are...Little Jerry..."

Todd murmured.

That young man who looks like a bamboo pole, always has a silly smile, and is harmless to humans and animals...

An anxious voice came from the other end of the cave.

"Damn! Todd! Get out of there!"

Enraged by the sudden fire and shouting, the giant opened its mouth wide at Todd. The iron chains that stretched his hands and feet into a line, and the iron nails connected to the mountain wall, made a sharp cracking sound due to the huge twisting force.

Frightened out of his wits by the scene in front of him, Todd's body receded back and forth, and the candlestick fell to the ground.

Kara!

The iron chain, which could no longer bear the strength, broke from it, and the giant's big hand slapped Todd's head, and it seemed that his head would crack and his pulp would collapse.

"Edgar!"

A shout sounded not far away, and Todd suddenly realized that it was Huggins' voice.

next second.

An afterimage flashed across the air.

The scenery in front of him moved forward at a high speed, and Todd's body was pulled back quickly, narrowly avoiding the blow of the giant.

Turning around, Edgar hugged himself, watching the giant's next move nervously.

Little Jerry's attack failed, and he became even more angry. He took a step forward with his right foot, clenched his fist with his left hand, and hit the two of them again.

Edgar moved his feet, pulling Todd like a gust of wind, and took a step back to avoid another blow.

The giant's fist hit the rock wall, and after a deafening bang, the hard rock wall was forcibly punched into a depression.

But on the other hand, the two have already retreated to the dead corner of the cave, and there is no way to retreat.

at this moment.

A figure moved in from the side and stood between the two and the giant.

Huggins, who was wearing a leather jacket, looked intently at the giant in front of him, took a deep breath, and said behind him, "Edgar, I'll hold him back later, you wait for Todd to go first!"

The man slowly unbuttoned the hidden button of the glove, and under Todd's surprised gaze, black gas emerged from his withered palm.

A short body forward, Huggins took the initiative to approach the giant's chest, grabbed the opponent's right arm with his left hand, and grabbed the opponent's left arm with his right hand.

The black gas penetrated into Jerry's skin in an instant, and the contact area began to turn yellow and black, causing the giant to howl in pain.

Taking advantage of the slowing of the giant's movements, Todd used his perspective ability to look at both sides in the fight.

On Huggins' arms and palms, a large number of black particles were constantly flowing.

The inside of Little Jerry's body was already a mess, the blood flow was like a flood dam, the lymphatic tissue swelled into a ball, and the heart beat like a piston pump about to explode.

Feeling the tug behind him, Todd moved back, but his natural curiosity drove him to continue observing.

Signaling Edgar to stop, Todd suddenly lay down on the ground, looked carefully from the bottom up, and finally discovered the weirdness in the giant's lower abdomen.

On the top of Jerry's kidney, next to the renal fascia, which is commonly known as the adrenal gland, there is a parasite that looks like a leech entrenched!
