Several hours later, Inspector Flower still sat in the passenger seat of the car, her attire unchanged, but she had calmed down and was deep in thought.

This trip to Tokyo to capture the fugitive had been fraught with difficulties from the very beginning.

Inspector Flower still trusted the arrangements made by the Hong Kong police, otherwise they wouldn't have sent them all the way to Japan.
