American Comics: BOSS Invasion

#119 - Finally something conscious happened.

After dismissing Boney, Qi Shan didn't dwell on such a trivial matter.

With Qi Shan's capabilities, even if he created a Gotei 13, its essence would only be a supplementary, peripheral organization. Boney and his gang of hoodlums were even further on the periphery, just small chess pieces placed casually for the purpose of gathering information and resolving minor troubles that weren't convenient for him to handle directly.

At most, it added a social attribute, providing a channel to communicate with the world, but it wasn't meant to create trouble for himself.

The room quieted down, and Qi Shan closed his eyes to rest, quietly smoking a cigar for a while.

Since the beginning of his transmigration, he didn't seem to have had a moment of leisure.

He was either busy turning around and playing tricks or busy impersonating a mad scientist.

This time, the boss's invasion cycle had been extended by a factor of two, and the artificial human project had experts taking over. After Qi Shan became free, he suddenly found himself with nothing to do.

For some inexplicable reason, Tomie's face flashed into his mind.

Qi Shan suddenly opened his eyes, an idea popping into his head.

He frowned slightly, pondered for a moment, and got up to walk outside.

Pushing open the door, two bald-headed burly men stood on either side.

Seeing Qi Shan come out, they lowered their heads and said, "Boss!"

The surrounding strong men's faces changed drastically, and they roared as they rushed towards Qi Shan.

From within the buildings, a huge figure suddenly emerged.

A massive international flight, like a giant whale leaping out of the water, plunged down towards Qi Shan's location.

Qi Shan could even see the pilot's wooden gaze.

A huge air pressure surged wildly, and amidst the flying sand and rocks, a hint of a smile suddenly appeared on Qi Shan's consistently calm face.

Boom!

The plane exploded, flames soaring into the sky, the shockwave scattering the surrounding rubble. Nearby vehicles were like toys carelessly discarded by a child, their bright and beautiful exteriors instantly disfigured.

Several burly men flew directly out, crashing to the ground and dying instantly.

The surrounding people stood there dumbfounded, unsure of how to react.

After the shockwave passed, only flames remained burning fiercely at the center of the explosion.

The expensive large aircraft had already turned into firewood, fueling the flames' ambition to spread.

The surroundings were silent.

A few seconds later, the wall of the repair shop suddenly exploded, and Dr. Gero rushed out with a gloomy expression.

He coldly swept a glance at the surrounding burly men: "What are you guys still standing there for? Hurry up and save people!"

The strong men woke up as if from a dream, and hurriedly went forward.

Suddenly, a clear and sharp voice came out.

"No need!"

Then, amidst everyone's bewildered gazes, Qi Shan kicked a gap in the wreckage of the large aircraft, a faint smile on his lips, and leisurely walked out.

Only then did everyone realize that there wasn't even a trace of anything on the boss's body.

Not to mention injuries, there wasn't even any sign of being burned.

It was as if everything just now was an illusion.

But, they clearly watched Qi Shan walk out from the center of the flames.

This… what exactly is going on?

"Dr. Gero! I'm very curious what he was thinking, can you get it out?"

Qi Shan raised his hand and threw something over, Dr. Gero reached out and caught it, glanced at it briefly, and said indifferently: "Give me an hour!"

Since the boss was alright, he naturally didn't care about how the subsequent matters would be handled.

Qi Shan slightly raised his head, smiled lightly at the hundreds of meters of high altitude, and stepped into the repair shop.

In the high altitude, a drone covered in protective camouflage hovered there, with several long lenses constantly reflecting light in the sunlight.

… …

At the same time, in a dim room, a person sat upright in front of the computer, staring blankly at the magnified smiling face of Qi Shan on the screen.

A few seconds later, a line of symbols appeared in the lower right corner of the computer.

This person shuddered all over as if struck by lightning, grabbed a pistol with his right hand, and aimed it at his temple.

Bang!

The corpse fell to the ground, blood flowing everywhere.

The computer program automatically self-destructed, the monitor screen twisted a few times before going black, and a plume of white smoke emerged from the computer case.

It naturally ignited the kindling on the computer case, and with a boom, the flames swept through the entire room… …

… …

Sitting on the sofa, Qi Shan was in a good mood.

That's right, this is the Marvel world, how could it be boring.

He had only just shown his face a little, and immediately such a grand gesture was delivered, it was truly something to look forward to.

Feeling the golden energy that had reappeared within his body, Qi Shan smiled even more happily.

On the television, various news reports appeared, changing different patterns to report on this plane crash accident.

Many talk shows pulled out the superheroes for a verbal lashing, instead putting the government behind their minds.

Dr. Gero walked out of the room, followed by the pilot from before.

At this time, his face was wooden, his eyes dull, and a huge metal interface on his neck connected the original head with the bio-mechanical body.

"His memories are somewhat confused, the concept of time is completely lost, I suspect he was controlled by someone before."

Qi Shan snapped his fingers and smiled: "Great, thankfully it wasn't an accident. Give you three days, can you find any clues?"

Dr. Gero pondered for a moment, nodded: "I can try."

Qi Shan stroked his chin and suddenly remembered something.

He raised his hand, had his subordinate hand him the phone, and dialed a number.

The phone connected, and on the other end was a seductive voice.

"Madame Viper, Mike Qi sends his regards, oh, if you are waiting for news of the mission's completion, I'm afraid I have to disappoint you, your subordinates are too sloppy, they didn't even figure out the most basic information. A mere plane crash is not enough to take my life. Next time you might as well try a rocket launcher, a mortar or something, it would be even better if you could get a nuke!"

Qi Shan was gentle with a little excitement, like a kid who stole a beloved toy from the store.

Madame Viper was obviously stunned by Qi Shan's words.

Immediately afterwards, a series of low reprimands were heard. After about five or six seconds, Madame Viper's voice came again.

"Mr. Qi, this is a great injustice, I have nothing to do with this matter. You wouldn't think that I would cause such a troublesome thing for the sake of being stingy with a mere 100 million US dollars, would you?"

Qi Shan smiled and said: "I am a practical person. If you say so, then I will have to believe that you are innocent. But as a matter of fact, if I die, the hundred-man team I sent out will naturally be taken over by you, and your vested interests are the greatest.

If other bosses suspect you, I won't be able to help you speak!"

"Damn it!" Madame Viper cursed in a low voice, and then said: "Give me a few days, and I will give you an explanation. I will prove that this is just a clumsy trick of the Hand!"

"Three days at most! Give me a name!"

"No problem!"
