#129 - The Six Paths (Part 1)
In a dark alley, ninjas clad in red fought fiercely against another group wielding firearms.
The ground was covered in a layer of sand, with corpses lying every few steps, blood and dirt mixed together into a muddy mess.
The pungent smell of blood was insignificant against the howling sea breeze, serving only as a source of excitement and having no effect on these people.
Gunshots, explosions, screams, laughter, and shouts mixed together, representing a symphony of slaughter.
Suddenly, a figure descended from the sky, landing steadily in the center of the two factions.
Without a word, both sides tacitly regarded this person as an enemy and attacked him without hesitation.
In the dim light, a tall man wearing a black cloak with red clouds slowly straightened up. His bizarre appearance, combined with his round bald head, was surprisingly inconspicuous among this group of madmen.
Bullets struck his body with a 'bang, bang, bang,' yet the man didn't react at all.
A red-clad ninja leaped up and slashed with his katana, but the man agilely turned and kicked, sending the ninja exploding into sand that scattered across the ground.
Finally, he unhesitatingly pulled open his sleeve, tearing out a long string of small grenade launchers from his left arm to his right.
Without hesitation, he raised his hand to the sky, and a large amount of fire burst from his arm, launching small grenades in all directions.
He silently opened his mouth and said three emotionless words: "Asura Cannon!"
Indeed, this person was none other than Asura Path, one of the Six Paths of Pain.
The small shells drew random curves in the air like bottle rockets, accompanied by screams, leaving a long trail of white smoke as they impacted the crowd.
Boom, boom, boom…
Accompanying the flames was a rising cloud of smoke, and panicked screams rang out one after another. The level of warfare between the two sides seemed to have suddenly increased significantly.
In another, slightly more open space, Animal Path, his cloak fluttering, expressionlessly formed a hand seal and slammed his palm on the ground.
A huge cloud of smoke exploded, and the rumbling sound caused the ground to tremble slightly.
Almost instantly, it attracted the attention of everyone nearby.
Two red-clad ninjas rushed over without hesitation.
However, in the next instant, they were swallowed whole by a giant centipede, at least twenty or thirty meters long and over two meters in diameter.
The cloud of smoke gradually dissipated, revealing a huge, three-headed centipede, madly shaking its heads to display its existence to the world.
Their bodies were too large, making them somewhat clumsy, but every move they made brought immense destruction.
The slightest sway of their bodies caused the surrounding buildings to collapse as if they had been repeatedly hammered by dozens of demolition vehicles.
The ground rumbled and shook, and the surrounding buildings exploded continuously.
These three-headed centipedes were like ferocious beasts from hell, attacking everyone around them.
The two groups, who had been attacking each other relentlessly, tacitly turned their guns and cooperated.
The red-clad ninjas fearlessly charged forward, their short katanas cutting the centipede's body like toothpicks, but unable to cause even a scratch.
Whether it was a high-rise building, a low-rise shack, a garden villa, or even a train station, all were its targets.
Less than two minutes after the three-headed centipede appeared, the surrounding area had already become a ruin.
Animal Path watched expressionlessly for a while, then flashed away and quickly chose a spacious rooftop to form another hand seal.
Inside a building, Human Path was grabbing a superhuman by the neck with one hand, coldly draining all the energy from their body.
The superhuman's hands were constantly changing, sometimes turning into dinosaur claws, sometimes into eagle claws. She tried desperately to attack Human Path and break free from his grasp.
But no matter how hard she tried, he remained unmoved.
The vitality she had always been proud of was constantly flowing into the other's body, and her dark, beautiful hair was withering and turning white at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Screams echoed endlessly.
After a few seconds, the superhuman finally withered into a pile of dried corpses, which Human Path casually threw aside.
There were already 7 or 8 similar dried corpses lying in the corner.
The only surviving superhuman, who had been hiding behind the stairwell, was now trembling all over as if having a seizure.
Even he himself didn't realize that his voice now unconsciously carried a plea.
"Who are you? Let me go, I'm just following orders, it's not my fault, let me go, I can give you everything, what do you want? Money? Or women? Just let me go…"
Human Path ignored him and smashed his fist, shattering his proud protective shield, and gently grasped his neck with his palm.
Ah!
The screams that echoed through the clouds were heartbreaking to hear and brought tears to those who saw it.
Just then, the floor above was suddenly smashed open, and a burly superhuman suddenly waved his hand and threw a large fireball.
"Die, you madman!"
Facing the huge fireball, Human Path coldly stretched out his other hand.
And then an incredible scene was seen.
His hand seemed to have a black hole, rapidly devouring the flames. In the blink of an eye, the flames that filled the sky had disappeared.
"My fire didn't work?!"
The man's face was filled with disbelief.
In that moment of shock, Human Path had already thrown away the dried corpse in his hand and suddenly appeared in front of this person as if traversing space.
His face twitched, and he stood there in a daze.
Human Path's light purple ripple eyes stared at him intently, and he slowly stretched out his palm…
In the presidential suite of the Sovereign Hotel, Madame Viper smashed the 7th phone and couldn't help but roar: "Who is it? Who exactly is it? How could another force suddenly emerge?"
John stood beside her, his face blank, "These people are too strange, they kill anyone they encounter, and even destroy buildings, as if they are perverts who can't wait for the world to be destroyed.
I once tried to get someone to communicate with them, but it was completely useless. These people are as cold as stones and never speak. I even suspect they are all corpses!"
"Damn it!" Madame Viper roared in a low voice: "Tonight's plan is crucial and there must be no mistakes.
The sudden appearance of these people has startled almost everyone. Not only the Hand, but even the forces of the Black Gang Alliance are retracting.
No matter what method you use, stop them!"
John looked at Madame Viper's somewhat twisted and deformed face and nodded blankly.
