American Comics: BOSS Invasion

#191 - Frieza and the Frost Giant

Jötunheim, even under the harsh weather of cold winds and ice and snow, could not conceal the destruction and desolation.

The distant palace had been destroyed into ruins, with debris everywhere.

The corpses of ice giants, mountain giants, and wind giants littered the battlefield.

Their size, they said, did not give them any advantage in the battle.

Instead, they became targets for the enemy, bombarded with some kind of energy that riddled their bodies with holes.

Fresh blood splattered on the ground, instantly frozen by the cold air, turning into sparkling snow crystals and encasing the remains of the dead.

The scene was a complete mess.

A small group of frost giants, panting heavily, knelt on the ground, each bearing severe wounds, their blood no longer flowing.

Their armor was shattered, and the artifacts in their hands had been reduced to useless scraps, no longer possessing magical power.

At the forefront, a giant noticeably taller than the other frost giants, kept one eye closed, blood trickling down his cheek.

His left hand was gone, replaced by ice crystals growing from the stump.

Kneeling on one knee, his red eyes were filled with deep-seated hatred.

Above his head, the cold wind surged, and ice and snow swirled.

This chilling stream could affect any creature, but it could not affect the person opposite him.

"Who… who exactly are you?"

"How rude. Shouldn't you give your own name before asking for someone else's?"

The speaker was an odd species with a typical build and a golden tail.

His features were strange, with the corners of his eyes slightly upturned, giving off an air of disdain even when calmly meeting someone's gaze.

Just standing there, he exuded an aloof demeanor, radiating a cold aura, as if anyone who disobeyed his orders would be torn to pieces immediately.

Was this a tyrant?

The frost giant gasped, hesitating. He glanced at his broken subordinates behind him and said coldly, "Laufey, you can call me King Laufey. I am the king of the frost giants, the master of Jötunheim!"

"I see. So you are a king. No wonder you possess such combat power."

The man chuckled and said lightly, "You can call me Lord Frieza."

That's right, this person was Frieza.

At this moment, a small aircraft quickly approached, and a space alien wearing strange armor jumped down and shouted, "Lord Frieza, the spaceship's warp drive has been repaired! This time, we definitely won't be caught in spatial turbulence again!"

Frieza narrowed his eyes and said, "Who was it that guaranteed me last time that we could arrive at Tzedar Star directly?"

The man was a little embarrassed: "It was me! But it's not my fault, it's all the fault of the maintenance team's trash. They broke the warp drive, otherwise we would have arrived by tomorrow morning…"

Whoosh!

A laser beam pierced through his forehead, and the man's body stiffened and fell to the ground.

Frieza said indifferently, "Good that it's you. Don't make excuses!"

At this time, several more small aircraft flew over, and a small team quickly jumped down, quickly throwing the dead man aside.

Judging from their skilled attitude, this was clearly not the first time.

King Laufey was furious. He gasped and said, "This… this is why you invaded Jotunheim? How ridiculous, it was just a wrong turn. Then what was this war for?"

"War is war. Why are there so many whys?"

Frieza said indifferently, "Liking slaughter, saving lives, or mercenaries wanting to collect life planets, all kinds of reasons, too many. Even if you know, what can you do?"

Frieza glanced at the frost giants and suddenly revealed a strange smile.

"Frost giants! How coincidental, I am also from the frost race. I didn't expect you to be so weak. Seeing how huge you are, and with some combat power, serve me, and I will spare your life!

And I will still hand Jotunheim over to you to manage!"

King Laufey said coldly, "What will I get?"

"Lord Frieza!"

"Lord Frieza!"

Amid the earth-shattering roar, on the battlefield covered with corpses, in front of the dilapidated palace.

King Laufey lowered his precious head for the first time, for the survival of his clan.

Unlike the Odin Gods, he could see that this Frieza Force was a true executioner.

If he uttered a single 'no', today's Jotunheim would become a dead place.

Lord Frieza was very satisfied.

"Very good! Someone, treat my frost legion. Notify the fleet to prepare, collect as much loot as possible, we must reach Tzedar Star as soon as possible!"

"Yes! Lord Frieza!"

Earth, Brooklyn, church.

The night was already late, the streets were empty, the streetlights flickered, and occasionally vehicles sped past, bringing a roar before quickly falling into silence again.

Without warning, the church door suddenly opened inward, and Qi Shan stepped out of the void.

He looked up at the round moon in the sky, then looked back at the church, and a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

"So that's why it was designed as a key?"

The permanent space door rewarded by the system.

It is indeed a door, but it's not just a door.

As long as the key is in hand, anyone can enter another world through any door.

The world of The Amazing Spider-Man.

After Qi Shan tossed the parallel universe, it will obviously be like a wild dog off the leash, heading in an unknown direction.

Will the Spider-Man of that world join the government and form the so-called Spider-Man team?

Or will he rebel because of political darkness and become a new generation of super villains!

What impact will the sudden death of the Green Goblin's father have on him? Will he become a new villain again, or will he be cured of his genetic disease with the help of the government?

The future of The Amazing Spider-Man world is completely unpredictable.

Of course, there is one character whose appearance is certain, and that is Electro.

However, after that devastating battle in New York, the government will definitely form a task force to target this issue.

Whether Electro can become the real Electro, or will be sent to prison as soon as he appears and become a valuable experimental product for another department, is unknown.

Qi Shan looked up at the sky, feeling the tranquility of the night.

Peace is so good!

He shook his head, put the affairs of The Amazing Spider-Man outside world behind him, and turned to enter the church.

Everything has been on track, perhaps it is time to showdown with S.H.I.E.L.D.!
