American Comics: BOSS Invasion
#289 - encounter
In the pitch-black night, an engineering vehicle slowly parked in front of the Central Bank. Four men wearing black ski masks emerged one after another.
The leader sized up the building before him, then took out a tablet to confirm, and only then nodded slightly.
One of the subordinates stepped forward, took out a uniquely shaped gun, aimed it slightly, and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
A blue light sphere appeared out of nowhere, instantly expanding and slamming into the wall.
The attacked area suddenly turned into sand. Whether it was the iron plate or the wall, it all turned into quicksand, sliding to the ground, leaving a smooth, circular hole in the wall.
The leader waved his hand, and the men entered in succession, without triggering any alarms.
On a street corner lamppost, a hidden camera suddenly flashed.
Then, a red lightning bolt could be seen, stopping in front of the bank from afar.
Barry took a quick look around and pressed his communicator, saying, "Cisco, I've found them. You can notify the police!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the Flash turned into a streak of lightning. Instantly, four masked figures appeared beside him, bound together and sitting on the ground.
The men's expressions were somewhat dazed, clearly not understanding what had happened.
Just now, they were working hard to move the cash, and then, in the blink of an eye, they were suddenly outside?
The leader looked up at the Flash, his eyes filled with resentment.
"It's you? How dare you show your face again? The police department has already abandoned you. Why do you still meddle in other people's business?"
The Flash ignored him. He picked up the somewhat exaggerated-looking gun, glanced at it, and said with some surprise, "A molecular separator, made so small, and carried around? This isn't technology that ordinary people could master. Where did you get it from?"
The leader of the bandits revealed a disdainful look and spat fiercely at the Flash.
"Alright, I guess you don't know!"
The Flash shrugged, then circled the four men, and then shook his hands with some disgust: "Do some of you guys never change your socks? It stinks!"
At this time, the bandits came back to their senses, shocked to find that their mouths had been stuffed with something.
"Ugh, ugh..."
A few minutes later, the bandits had clearly felt the power of the stinky socks, writhing back and forth in agony, with snot and tears flowing together, making sounds of 'ugh, ugh' and occasionally rolling their eyes.
They clearly wanted the Flash to take the socks out.
The Flash was too lazy to pay attention to them, and pressed the communicator, saying: "Cisco, bad news! As expected, someone couldn't help but throw out a trial balloon."
"Barry, the enemy is in the dark, and we are in the light. We are at a complete disadvantage in this fight, and the other side is coming on strong. It's clear that they won't let it go easily. We need support.
I'll go talk to Captain Hunter."
"Alright!" The Flash hesitated for a moment, then slowly nodded: "Then I'll go visit the Hunter squad first, and then take a trip to Star City."
The ground shattered, dirt and rocks flew, and the figure kneeling on the ground slowly stood up. A heroic figure appeared in the Flash's line of sight.
"Your ability is very interesting. It doesn't seem like pure speed, but a strange energy. How interesting!"
The voice came, and it turned out to be a woman.
The Flash asked vigilantly, "What do you want to do?"
The woman slowly walked out of the smoke, revealing a slender figure and striking blue hair.
"It's nothing, I just want to fight you! You're the Flash, right? Although we haven't been here long, we've heard a lot about your name, a hero for men.
Come on, give me a fight!"
Esdeath put her left hand on her waist, and slowly extended her right hand forward. An exquisite and translucent icicle extended out without warning, turning into a uniquely shaped, dazzling longsword.
The Flash's pupils shrank slightly: "You're also a superpowered person?"
"Superpowered person, so that's what you call yourselves. An interesting name!"
A clear, cold voice came from behind. The Flash turned around vigilantly.
Figures swayed, and a girl wearing a black sailor uniform, who looked like a high school student, walked out expressionlessly with a black longsword.
And in another direction, figures swayed, one after another, with unique shapes and different expressions, slowly appearing, directly surrounding the Flash.
"Who exactly are you people?"
The Flash's vigilance rose sharply, and he asked in a deep voice.
"Yo yo, are you getting anxious? That's not fashionable at all! You're a superpowered person, a guardian of the city, how can you be so impatient?
But your ability is so interesting, you can actually break the speed of light, I really want to study it!"
A man wearing a white coat, greedily looked at the Flash, the corners of his mouth were always slightly raised.
His delicate face and slender figure, under the background of the white coat, always gave people a faint sense of strangeness.
It was as if he was a research pervert or something.
"Mr. Fashion, I think he's resisting a little. Should I attack in advance?"
A girl wearing a light green military uniform, flicked her brown ponytail, stared at the Flash with curious big eyes, and turned her head to ask.
The girl was also holding a slender rope in her hand, the other end of the rope connected to the collar of a white puppy.
This puppy looked like an enlarged steamed bun, with small eyes, looking particularly cute.
That's right, Seryu is here again.
She has no memory of the previous invasion, and still believes that she has come to a new world for the first time.
And the milky white puppy beside her is as before.
The Flash silently sized up the enemies, a total of 7 people, from the shape and dress, there seems to be some degree of incoordination.
Moreover, among the seven people, except for a tall man wearing a gas mask on his face, the other six generously exposed their faces, seemingly not afraid of being known their identities at all.
"You seem very vigilant, are you afraid?"
Esdeath smiled lightly and said, "A little interesting, it seems that if I don't explain clearly, you may run away at any time.
Very well, then I'll tell you!"
She raised the ice sword in her hand. "We are the Jaegers, an organization of all Teigu users."
The Flash was slightly stunned, is that all you're going to say?
What are the Jaegers? Where did you come from? Aren't you going to explain all of this?
While he was still in a daze, Esdeath had already rushed up impatiently.
"Haha, let me see your power!"
A streak of sword light fell head-on, aiming straight at the Flash's forehead.
