American Comics: BOSS Invasion

#385 - It's frontal hard steel!

A dozen or so minutes later, Polaris and the other person left.

In Qi Shan's room, Alice's projection suddenly popped up. She directly opened a huge light screen, which displayed Polaris's mission requirements.

Qi Shan lightly curled his lips: "Seeing that the east wind has arrived, what are you still hesitating about?"

"Boss! A direct assault would have too much impact and easily attract too much attention."

Qi Shan waved his hand: "It's not like we're using planes and cannons, it's just a special team infiltrating! The Sentinel Services has experienced plenty of various emergencies, aren't they commonplace!

Proceed according to the original plan!"

"Understood, boss!"

Just as Alice disappeared, in the suburbs of Atlanta, about one kilometer away from the Sentinel Services branch, two fully armed special assault teams suddenly stood up from the wilderness.

Having waited for a long time, they immediately took action upon receiving the signal to attack.

Two team members stepped forward, deftly dismantling the backpacks behind them and quickly assembling a small mortar. A typical 30-centimeter-long spindle-shaped shell was loaded into the firing port.

With almost no hesitation, they opened fire.

Bang! Bang!

Two consecutive explosions rang out, the shells drawing perfect parabolas, directly impacting the walls of the Sentinel Services building.

Immediately following, a deafening explosion was heard, and two sections of the Sentinel Services office building collapsed.

The building was destroyed from the first floor to the third floor, with half-collapsed walls and debris that looked as if they had been bitten by a dog.

The originally square office building was instantly blasted into an inverted triangle.

Before the smoke and dust could dissipate, piercing alarms sounded.

A group of people, covered in dust, rushed out in a hurry, coughing as they fled for their lives.

Some people knew that an accident had occurred and ran straight towards the air-raid shelter a hundred meters away, but the vast majority were bewildered, running around aimlessly like headless flies.

Several minutes later, when the two assault teams rushed to the front, these people still hadn't figured out what was going on.

Several team members stepped forward, firing 30mm caliber grenade launcher incendiary rounds as if they were free.

Several balls of flame exploded, illuminating the surroundings in red.

Splashing sparks ignited people's bodies, quickly spreading and turning these unlucky victims into human torches.

The remaining team members lined up in a row, firing their M16s in a scattered pattern, mowing down the crowd like韭菜 (chives).

Only then did they realize that something was wrong, screaming and scattering in all directions.

Inside the office building, Jesse got up and his eyes instantly turned red when he saw the scene outside the window.

He shouted loudly: "Quickly notify the rapid reaction force, we have been attacked by terrorists, tell them to send J-22s immediately.

Immediately summon all the assault teams, establish a defensive line, and prepare to counterattack.

Fully open the armory, tell everyone to arm themselves, I suspect the target is likely to be the mutants in the core laboratory.

Notify the White House and the police, we need support.

Call Pulse over, inject him with the enhancement drug, and fully activate his abilities.

We can't be sure yet whether there are mutants in the enemy's ranks!

Also, seal off the underground laboratory area, no one is allowed to enter or exit without my order!"

Jesse shouted a series of orders, and the subordinates around him swarmed out to convey them.

Inside the Sentinel Services, they were gradually reacting at this time.

Fortunately, Qi Shan's purpose was not to kill them all. Seeing everyone trembling and lying on the ground, the two teams quickly stopped attacking, cleared a path, and quickly rushed into the office building.

People around crawled on the ground for a while, and then some of the bolder ones quietly raised their heads, looked around, and saw that those people had disappeared. Overjoyed, they hurriedly bent over, crawled up, and ran out.

He was just a clerk and didn't want to die in a meaningless battlefield.

Seeing someone taking the lead, the survivors fled one after another, leaving a pile of corpses on the ground.

The two teams rushed into the office building, split into two, one team going up and one team going down, searching separately.

The Sentinel Services was able to become the largest violent agency in America, so naturally they were not pushovers.

The sudden attack caught them off guard, but after recovering, the internal defense system controlled by the initial-stage Sentinel robots patrolled back and forth inside the building.

The assault team searching upwards encountered an encirclement by a large number of Sentinel robots just after reaching the second floor.

The team searching downwards encountered a mutant with dark circles around his eyes.

He hid his figure behind a cover in the corner, only revealing half of his head, staring at the assault team with emotionless eyes, gently reaching out his right hand and quickly clenching his fist.

The commando in the front spat out a mouthful of blood and instantly fell to the ground.

The people behind fired without hesitation, a large number of bullets rained down, hitting the rock body everywhere, killing them into fragments flying in the air.

The mutant didn't dare to show his head anymore.

Five or six meters to the left of the cover, Jesse and a well-dressed white man were lying on the ground.

Jesse was holding a small pistol, not daring to relax for a moment.

"Dr. Campbell, if I remember correctly, all the experimental personnel were required to evacuate urgently three minutes ago.

Our underground research facility has a direct passage to the air-raid shelter, and the internal structure and special equipment have special defensive capabilities that can prevent mutant intrusion to a certain extent! Why didn't you run away?"

Dr. Campbell said with a hint of excitement: "Huh, how could I run away, this is a rare practical opportunity!

The mutant inhibitor I researched can perfectly cover the x-gene, but I have reverse-engineered an equation and developed a new type of drug that, in theory, can amplify the mutant's abilities.

The data in the previous experimental duels was very chaotic and almost useless!

I sent several reports to the company requesting professional mercenaries to be dispatched as live combat test subjects, but the company has not responded. The current scene perfectly reproduces my experimental requirements. How could I leave such a crucial data testing experiment?"

As he spoke, Dr. Campbell's eyes showed that perverted, fiery light again.

Jesse didn't know what to say, he tilted his head, somewhat helplessly.

At this time, Dr. Campbell excitedly made a gesture to the mutant.

The mutant expressionlessly took out a syringe and unhesitatingly plunged it into his carotid artery.

An invisible shockwave erupted, large cracks burst open in the surrounding walls, the bullets coming head-on were directly bounced away, and all the members of the assault team were blasted away by the shockwave.

Even Dr. Campbell and Jesse on the side were not spared.
