Boom!

The building exploded outwards on all sides, with four large holes blasted straight through it. Soldiers poured in without hesitation, and the sound of rapid gunfire erupted.

Qi Shan pushed open a door and walked down, clad in a crisp white military dress uniform. The black trim, paired with the black V-shaped insignia on his military cap, exuded a chilling aura.

Soldiers continued to descend from the sky, but the following troops didn't enter the building. Instead, they positioned large machines at each of the building's four corners.

Once activated, the machines generated an ultraviolet barrier, completely enveloping the building.

Qi Shan's expression remained calm as he glanced around and strode into the bar.

The two burly men behind him each led a squad, sweeping through the streets like deranged serial killers, mowing down vampires.

Like a white whirlwind, the streets, once filled with a foul atmosphere, were quickly cleared.

The female doctor watched the vampires scream as they were burned to ashes, unable to find the words to express her horror.

"This is the CCV? Are they really a government organization, this brutal?"

Blade said, "You're mistaken. They're not a government organization at all!"

Without waiting for the female doctor to reply, he drew the long sword from his back and headed straight for the bar.

The two of them had been somewhat apprehensive, expecting the soldiers to stop them.

But the soldiers guarding the perimeter merely glanced at them and then ignored them.

The female doctor was puzzled. Blade lowered his voice: "The soldiers received advance orders. That guy named Mike Qi knew I was coming!"

The two strode into the bar. The music was still deafening, and the blue lights flickered incessantly, creating a bizarre and dreamlike space.

Along the way, they saw many people clutching their legs and wailing on the ground, their hands and feet bound together.

Large amounts of blood gushed from their wounds, but no one paid any attention.

Every few steps, they saw a pile of ashes on the ground in the shape of a person, clearly indicating that a vampire had died there.

The deeper they went, the more shocked they became.

These soldiers were ridiculously strong!

They had fought their way in without a single casualty, and they were facing vampires!

Even if the vampires disdained using guns, these ghouls were not to be trifled with. How could they not have fired back?

Yet, so far, they had not seen a single injured soldier.

Arriving in the main hall, several girls who were too high were still screaming and singing on the stage, while the area below had been completely sealed off by a large number of soldiers!

Qi Shan sat on a sofa, with a line of soldiers holding over a dozen people in front of him.

The vampires had been completely cleared out, and all that remained were ghouls.

The first person was pushed forward. Qi Shan asked casually, "Where is the vampires' lair?"

Although this person had been shot in the leg, he acted tough.

"Don't kill me! I'm human! I don't know! I really don't know!"

Bang!

Headshot, drag away!

Qi Shan said expressionlessly, "If you don't know anything, you have no value in living. Next!"

As the third person was being dragged up, the female doctor couldn't help but shout, "You're indiscriminately killing innocent people! You can't do this!"

Qi Shan didn't even raise an eyelid. "Blade, we've taken over Los Angeles. Since you don't want to join us, then please leave!"

"I will leave, but not now!" Blade replied coldly.

"I don't care when you leave Los Angeles, but please don't interfere with my affairs, and keep your pet in line! If this little vampire speaks out of turn again, I'll blow her brains out!"

Blade sneered: "You can try!"

Qi Shan's lips twitched slightly as he looked at the ghoul being dragged up: "Looks like you don't want to talk either."

Just as Qi Shan was about to raise his hand, the ghoul struggled frantically and shouted, "Don't kill me! Don't kill me! I'll talk!"

He swallowed hard and said tremblingly, "I heard that Laurest infiltrated the database and used the information in the database to restore the Blood God summoning altar.

He went to find the elders. He wants to become the Blood God!"

"What?" Blade exclaimed.

Qi Shan glanced at him and continued, "I don't care what he wants to do. I need an address!"

"There's an underground bar near the northern suburbs, on Florida Avenue. That's Laurest's lair. He should be there!"

Qi Shan got up and left: "Take him back. After interrogation, lock him up with those ghouls and deal with them after all the vampires in Los Angeles are cleared out!"

The soldier saluted, and then the sound of gunfire erupted like popping beans. The remaining ghouls who hadn't had a chance to speak were killed on the spot.

The one who spoke trembled all over, barely escaping death, and was dragged out by two soldiers.

The female doctor shouted, "Wait, what are you doing? He said to take everyone back!"

Seth, carrying a huge gun, walked out from inside and said, "You misheard! The commander only pardoned one!"

Then, he sized up Blade: "If you can't control your little pet, you can ask me for help! If I hear her questioning the CCV's methods again, I'll just cut off her head!"

The female doctor was angry but dared not speak.

Blade's eyes were sharp as he slowly drew his long sword.

Seth just glanced at it, chuckled, waved his hand, and quickly withdrew with the main force.

These soldiers moved quickly and swiftly. After a few dozen seconds, the bar was empty.

Blade sheathed his weapon and strode inside.

"What are you going to do?" the female doctor asked, following behind.

Blade turned his head sharply, took off his sunglasses, and said fiercely, "You talk too much! Shut your mouth and follow me, or…"

"Are you going to kill me too?" the female doctor asked, staring.

Blade met her gaze for a few seconds, then turned and walked inside.

The two searched the entire bar, from top to bottom, and everywhere there were the remains of vampires, roughly estimated to be more than 100.

Obviously, during the raid just now, the soldiers had killed all the vampires here.

Sirens sounded outside. Blade picked up the female doctor and jumped out of the window.

The CCV's involvement made Blade feel lost. He had to investigate this organization first.

Blade wanted to know, where did they come from?
