American Comics: BOSS Invasion
#810 - Terminator?
Mary recently found a new job at an art shop, doing flower arranging. While her skills weren't exceptional, they were more than enough to teach a child.
It just so happened that her son, Mark, was already five years old this year. Besides his schoolwork, she could also teach him the art of flower arranging.
It would also give her more contact with people her own age.
For a full-time housewife, this job should have been a good one, both relaxing and providing extra income for the family. However, after returning home today, she felt restless, as if something big was about to happen.
Looking at her husband, who had already drifted off to sleep, Mary sat up, quietly opened the bedroom door, and went to the living room.
Whenever she felt uneasy, she was accustomed to using meditation to calm herself.
In her memory, she had maintained this habit for a long time, ever since she was in Los Angeles with that person.
Only after breaking up did Mary rebuild a new family.
Her husband was a truly ordinary person, but compared to Hancock, he was a very good man.
His values were positive and he loved his family very much. Even though he knew Mark wasn't his biological son, he treated him very well.
Mary cherished this family, but after seeing that news yesterday, her heart began to feel unsettled.
Every time she calmed down, all her senses would become doubly acute, especially her sense of smell. In this dark environment, it was as if it had gained a special aura, always able to accurately smell the other person's state.
Her husband was still fast asleep, Mark seemed to have kicked off his blanket again, and the neighbor's dog had run into her yard to pee. She would definitely teach it a lesson tomorrow.
Why was there still someone on the opposite side of the road so late? Wait, why was this scent so familiar?
Mary woke up with a start!
This scent, this scent was actually Hancock! What was he doing? How did he find her house? Could it be that he had regained his memory?
Something was wrong, he seemed to be observing her.
Alert, Mary quietly approached the window and peered out at the street through a narrow gap in the curtains.
Qi Shan was right, this woman really did have a past with him.
Her power was about the same as his, she should have noticed him already, so why was she hiding? Why didn't she come out and ask? Could it be that his amnesia really had something to do with her?
Hancock had thought about breaking in and confronting Mary directly.
If he had remembered the story Qi Shan told him, Hancock, who always did things as he pleased and never considered the consequences, hesitated at this moment.
Perhaps now wasn't the right time, perhaps he should find another opportunity to meet Mary openly and ask her what exactly was going on with his memory?
Could it be because of her?
Actually, this question had been in Hancock's mind for a long time. He was clearly a superman, invulnerable to knives and guns, impervious to water and fire.
Even if his head hit a train, he wouldn't have a scratch, let alone a concussion or other injuries.
With such steel-like protection, how could he have lost his memory? And who had the ability to make him lose his memory?
Before Qi Shan appeared, Hancock had no answer. After Qi Shan appeared, he suddenly had two answers.
But now, he was even more suspicious of this ex-girlfriend.
Of course, if she really was an ex-girlfriend!

Hancock would never let Mary go.
As long as he knew that the lonely him actually had a female counterpart, and that she had a past with him, he would grab onto her as if she were his last straw, and he would never let go.
So Qi Shan had no interest in following them around. There was no need. He needed to be patient and give the young people a chance to develop freely. With Hancock's dog-shit personality, it would be strange if the two of them didn't clash.
Although the two of them could cancel out each other's superpowers when they were together, it would still take some time. The length of time was uncertain, but there was no rush.
He would chat with Hancock tonight, bring up Mary's matter, and then return to normal the next day.
On the way to the police station, Qi Shan was still considering whether he should enter all the files into the computer system and then give them to Alice to do a corresponding screening, so that he could find the movie plot more easily.
But as he passed an intersection, he suddenly saw a crazy police car.
The police car was taking up the entire road in an S-shape, twisting left and right, trying to throw the policeman clinging to the top of the car to the ground.
Although the guy on top was thin and his face was fair and tender, the strength in his hands and feet was amazing, as if he was fixed to the roof of the car. No matter how the car body twisted, he didn't budge.
Just as the car swerved, Qi Shan suddenly saw a familiar figure.
Qi Shan's eyes widened suddenly, the driver was actually the Governor!
Seeing him in a black leather jacket, wearing sunglasses, and holding a shotgun in his hand, he was most likely the T800 Terminator.
Not to mention there was also a mother and child in the back seat. The woman was strong, with dry and messy blonde hair, but her eyes were as sharp as a beast. The child was still young and was dizzy from being thrown around in the car, both eyes turning into circles.
Looking at this familiar scene, Qi Shan was stunned for a moment and couldn't help but smile.
Sure enough, good people are rewarded. He had kindly told Hancock about his previous memories last night, and today the Terminator automatically came to his door.
Qi Shan casually pulled out a police light, opened the window, and placed it on the roof. In the flashing red and blue light, he suddenly chased after it.
With a flick of his hand, an electric horn appeared.
"The vehicle in front, pull over and stop immediately for inspection. I'm talking to you, hurry up!
You stole a car and you stole a police car, you're brave enough. Stop the car immediately, or I'll shoot!"
Setting the broadcast to automatic play, Qi Shan opened the sunroof. A doppelganger appeared next to him, where would he dare to let a shotgun stick out? He unhesitatingly pulled the trigger!
Bang! Bang! Bang!
First, three shots blew out the tires on one side, the police car lost control and skidded sideways, crashing diagonally into a lamppost.
And the engine position emitted a burst of white smoke, the power system was completely ruined.
The T1000 clinging to the roof couldn't control himself and was thrown out, his head hitting the lamppost, directly collapsing half of his brain!
The Governor kicked off the car door, tore open the back door, and pulled the mother and daughter out.
"This car is useless, we need to change cars!"
The Governor said coldly and strode towards Qi Shan.
