American Comics: BOSS Invasion

#958 - Siege of Bright Summit

Chaos, carnage!

The scene before my eyes defied description.

The Jianghu experts, usually so revered, were now like cheap cabbages.

Their usual grace and ethereal bearing were replaced by ferocity and madness.

They were no different from bloodthirsty soldiers, latching onto a target and hacking at them until they fell, then pouncing on the next.

This siege of Bright Summit was nominally a campaign by the Six Major Sects, but in reality, they were backed by a multitude of smaller factions.

Almost every prestigious sect had numerous miscellaneous disciples under its banner.

These individuals were responsible for depleting the Ming Cult's cannon fodder, while the Six Major Sects themselves handled the true experts.

The most bloodthirsty of all was Abbess Miejue of the Emei Sect.

Leading her Emei disciples, she had fallen into a state of near-madness, wielding the Heaven-Reliant Sword to slaughter all around her.

Often, with a single sweep, she could cleave a dozen people in two.

Numerous disciples surrounded her, picking off stragglers and delivering the final blow!

Like a sharp sword, she pierced through the Ming Cult's defensive formation.

The Mount Hua and Kongtong sects were not to be outdone.

Their disciples fought fiercely, treating the Ming Cult as mortal enemies, determined to eliminate them at all costs.

The Wudang Sect was more of a slacker, bringing fewer people and focusing on the experts.

Their battles were intense, but rarely resulted in casualties.

Shaolin and Kunlun tightly guarded their own formations, with experts stationed in the center, while third and fourth-generation disciples did the fighting.

Even so, the Ming Cult was constantly retreating.

Their experts were completely tied down, their lower-ranking members were being killed, and their defensive circle was shrinking, making their situation appear precarious.

Qi Shan paid special attention and noticed that the five Reincarnators were extremely cunning.

Most of them sought out opponents with mediocre martial arts skills, while constantly observing their surroundings.

One person was fine, but only Doraemon was the most incongruous.

What is this?

Could it be a chaos potion?

Doraemon grinned as he easily grabbed his opponent's neck, twisting it into a pretzel.

"Kill! Kill! It's better to die together! Hehe!"

Doraemon's fat body jumped upwards, and the whole person disappeared directly into the air.

Qi Shan raised his eyebrows: "That's a little interesting!"

I don't know what method this kid used to hide, but even Qi Shan can't find any clues.

As expected of Doraemon, even a pirated version is much better than others.

As Doraemon's medicine spread, the righteous and evil factions on the entire Bright Summit seemed to be crazy, fighting frantically.

The masters of the major sects did not pay attention at first, but when they found out, their disciples had been killed almost.

Elder Kongjian of Shaolin Temple roared: "There's something wrong, retreat!"

The sound was like thunder, exploding on the entire Bright Summit in an instant, making everyone dizzy.

The high-level officials of both sides quickly seized this moment of clarity and issued orders to retreat.

After a while, the chaotic situation finally stopped temporarily, and the two sides began to confront each other.

After the lines were clearly defined, everyone realized how great the loss was this time.

The ground was criss-crossed with corpses.

There were Ming Cult members and members of the Six Major Sects.

Each of them died tragically.

It was already very good to have a complete corpse.

Most of them had broken arms and legs, and some were even chopped into meat sauce.

The defensive formation of the Ming Cult disciples was compressed again.

The Left and Right Envoys of Light and the Three Kings were sitting inside, covered in blood, sitting cross-legged and adjusting the true energy in their bodies.

Abbess Miejue stared at Yang Xiao, who was paralyzed on the ground, and Ji Xiaofu, who was standing behind Yang Xiao with a worried look on her face, and new and old hatred welled up in her heart.

"Ji Xiaofu! You wicked disciple, why don't you get over here quickly!"

Ji Xiaofu's body trembled slightly, and she felt embarrassed when she glanced at her from a distance, and lowered her head and stopped talking, but her body firmly stood behind her man.

Abbess Miejue's face turned blue with anger, and she was about to yell again?

Yang Xiao was furious and cursed: "What are you still doing here? Why don't you get over there quickly?

Since you came to Bright Summit, there hasn't been a single day of peace.

Now the Ming Cult is about to be destroyed, and I never want to see you again, you give me..."

Before Yang Xiao could finish speaking, Ji Xiaofu suddenly rushed up, with tears on her face and a smile on her lips.

"Husband, no matter how harsh you say it today, I will not leave you!"

Yang Xiao looked at his wife infatuatedly, and sighed for a long time after a long time.

Abbess Miejue was trembling with anger, wishing she could tear this adulterous couple into pieces.

At this moment, a huge force suddenly surged from behind Miejue, and directly knocked Abbess Miejue into the encirclement of the Ming Cult.

Caught off guard, the Heaven-Reliant Sword in Miejue's hand fell, and a black shadow flashed past.

He grabbed the Heaven-Reliant Sword and threw it directly into the Shaolin camp, and then heard a loud shout: "The Heaven-Reliant Sword is in hand, monk, retreat quickly!"

Before everyone could understand what had happened, a huge palm suddenly grabbed the Heaven-Reliant Sword, and then saw a burly figure rising from the ground, like a missile, shooting straight down the mountain.

"The thing is in hand, Taoist!

It's up to you for the Dragon Slaying Saber!"

The sound spread like rolling thunder, and two figures disappeared into the air like meteors.

Before everyone could react, they had disappeared without a trace.

Miejue couldn't help herself, and left the Ming Cult camp.

The Ming Cult disciples desperately besieged her, and she couldn't break free for a while.

The Green-Winged Bat King smiled and sped away, and the Emei disciples were shocked and rushed up.

The melee started again here, and there was a commotion in the Shaolin camp on the other side.

They were very surprised and didn't know why someone would jump out of their camp and snatch Emei's Heaven-Reliant Sword.

But in any case, he can't be allowed to take things away one by one.

A Buddhist chant from Kongjian led several round bald heads to rush up the mountain directly.

The other major sects were not to be outdone and immediately separated a group of people to chase after them.

On the other side, Xie Xun, the Golden Haired Lion King, who was standing with his sword across his horse in the center, sneered slightly.

"If you want my Dragon Slaying Saber, it depends on whether you have the ability!"
