American Comics: The Mighty Superman, Starting From Gwen Spider

Chapter 58: From The Future, Black Lightning!

That pitch-black figure is covered in rough, scale-like skin.

There are sharp black protrusions on his arms and back.

His face is wrapped in black skin, only revealing his gloomy eyes and the lower half of his face.

When Barry sees this guy, his expression slightly changes: "Is it him?!"

"Hey! Brother, do you know him? Is he your friend? But from what I see... he doesn't seem very friendly!" When Barry sees the reaction of the other Barry, he becomes somewhat interested.

"I don't know who he is... I was supposed to run back to my original time, but in the Speed Force, I encountered him. He's the one who pushed me into this time." Barry's face becomes serious as he speaks.

"Oh, shoot, so Barry, you appeared in this time against your will?" The other Barry senses that something is not right.

Peter looks at the figure walking out of the spatial rift in the distance and can't help but furrow his brow.

In the original plot of The Flash, the ending of this world is Kayla being killed by Zod and Batman dying.

This tragic ending is unacceptable to the other Barry, so he runs into the Speed Force and enters the Time Bowl, attempting to reverse time and save Kayla and Batman.

But no matter how hard the other Barry tries, no matter how many times he goes back in time, he can never reverse this tragic ending.

So the crazed and obsessed other Barry keeps trying over and over again, causing his body to rapidly age, eventually turning into the appearance of being covered in black substance.

Afterwards, the aged other Barry sees the other Barry, who is running back to his original time, changing the fate of his mother.

The aged other Barry pushes the other Barry into his own time, but the aged other Barry never expected that just as he is about to kill the other Barry and end all this tragedy, his younger self would actually block the knife for the other Barry...

With the death of the younger other Barry, the aged other Barry also disappears.

This is the original plot of The Flash, and the reason why Peter furrows his brow is also here!

According to the paradox presented in The Flash's plot, the ending of this world has already been changed by him.

In theory, the aged other Barry should not be able to exist.

But the scene before his eyes fully demonstrates that he still exists?

How is this possible?

"Superman!!!"

The aged other Barry roars, his eyes filled with hatred as he stares at Peter.

Then, with a step, the aged other Barry runs towards Peter's location at an extremely fast speed.

Peter raises an eyebrow, never expecting that this guy's target would be him?

Has he gone mad?

The aging Barry ran towards Peter at an unimaginable speed, thinking that he had already reached his maximum speed.

But when he noticed that Peter's eyes were following his movements, an expression of disbelief appeared on the aging Barry's face.

Peter raised his right arm and mercilessly punched the aging Barry.

Seeing the fist approaching, the aging Barry twisted his body and dodged Peter's attack, but Peter's left fist swiftly followed.

Seeing that he was about to be hit by Superman's fist, the aging Barry spun around, causing his body to resonate, and he actually passed through Peter's fist, avoiding both attacks.

"I'm curious, why haven't you disappeared?" Peter saw the aging Barry's figure rushing towards the distant stop and calmly asked.

"In theory, I have already changed the future of this universe, so you should have disappeared," the aging Barry replied.

"Wait, Superman, what do you mean? Do you know him?" Big Barry heard Peter's words and showed a shocked expression.

Little Barry was a bit confused, "What are you talking about? Why can't I understand?"

Bruce frowned, glanced at the aging Barry covered in black in the distance, and then focused his gaze on the bewildered little Barry beside him.

Vaguely, Bruce seemed to understand something.

"Even if you change the timeline of this world, there will never be a future in this world!" the aging Barry exclaimed angrily, "When the Pariah came to Earth, neither you nor Kayla were here, not even him!"

The aging Barry pointed at the big Barry, "He's not here either!"

"This world is left with only me and Bruce, we are not his opponents at all! In the end, this world will still perish!"

"You gave us hope, but it only prolonged the existence of this world for a few more years, that's all!"

The furious roar of the aging Barry stunned the young Barry.

After a moment of stunned silence, the young Barry pointed at himself in disbelief, "You're actually me?"

"I've reversed time over and over again, ran into the time-space bowl, trying to change everything, but in the end, I despairingly discovered that Bruce and I cannot defeat the Wasteland Wolf!" The aging Barry did not respond, but made a mournful sound.

"I watched this world disappear before my eyes, watched my family disappear... All this pain originated from you!"

Hearing this, Peter understood in his heart...

This aging Barry was not born at the time of the Kryptonian invasion, but came from a more distant time point - the time when the Wasteland Wolf invaded this planet.

Thinking of this, Peter remained indifferent, as if the other party had become delusional.

Not only did they not appreciate him for prolonging the existence of this world for a few more years, but they also blamed him.
