Chapter 618 The Fake Tang Monk vs. the Real Xuanzang

"You are Lingshan, and Lingshan must also be you. Otherwise, there is no need for the monks to continue to exist. This is not a discussion, but a result. Do you understand, Xuanzang?"

Emperor Wenchang was not surprised that Xuanzang had "no ambition".

To put it bluntly, Xuanzang is just a monk who has many confusions and incomprehensions about the existing Buddhism. Whether it is the Xuanzang who has traveled around the world and visited famous teachers and was full of confusion, or the Xuanzang who has returned from the source of Buddhism, discerned all over the world, and killed Master Xuanzang, who has a rolling Buddha head, is always the same. He only seeks to obtain the true scriptures and promote truth and goodness.

The purpose of daily practice is to explain the truth clearly to those evil monks who are not prepared to preach the scriptures properly, let alone things like ambition and power.

Of course, the word "kill" is not appropriate for Master Xuanzang. To be precise, the monks who had learned the wrong Dharma suddenly woke up in front of Master Xuanzang and realized that they had committed serious sins in the past. In order to pay for it, they voluntarily passed away and followed Xuanzang. Master Zang has nothing to do with it!

"The poor monk obeys the order!"

Listening to Emperor Wenchang's direct choice of right or wrong, even Master Xuanzang had no such intention, but doing one thing and loving another, since he chose to become a monk at the beginning, and now for the sake of the inheritance of Lingshan, there are successors of Buddhism who have to choose to take over. This important task.

Just as the Tang Dynasty ascended to the mainland of Kyushu, Master Xuanzang, who was supposed to translate Buddhist scriptures in the Big Wild Goose Pagoda until his death, came out again and discerned the four directions, but the original numerology had already changed.

Things in the world are impermanent, and life is determined but impermanent. The ever-changing situation will eventually push someone to a certain position.

"Xuan Zang is really pure and kind. Well, everything is fine here. I still have important things to do. You can do what you want!"

Looking at Master Xuanzang who was so aware of current affairs, Emperor Wenchang couldn't help but sigh in his heart. It would be great if his little beast could be so worry-free, and there would be no need for old people like him to rush around behind the pg. Working hard all the time.

But if you are clever, you will never be able to see the emperor who has no taboos.

As Emperor Wenchang turned into a light and shadow and disappeared, following the emperors to monitor the surrounding areas, Master Xuanzang, who came back to his senses, also led several of his disciples to begin a difficult climb at the foot of the devastated Lingshan Mountain.

After an unknown amount of time, a group of four people finally climbed up the road built by the Buddha's remains to the top of the mountain.

The whole journey went smoothly beyond expectations. When Xuanzang and his party climbed to the top of the mountain, there was no Lingshan Buddhist disciple. The venerable came to guide or simply obstructed. This is not in line with common sense!

After all, even Xuanzang himself, who was in the middle of the situation, knew that his behavior was not popular among the Lingshan family.

Even from the previous experience in the lower realm of the Buddhas in Tubo, we can see that the Buddhas in Lingshan really wanted Xuanzang to die and did not tolerate any lies. However, Xuanzang was too eloquent. He is eloquent, and as a real person in the original version of Journey to the West, it was one of the turning points for Lingshan to fully prosper in Kyushu. The destiny that Xuanzang shouldered did not allow him to die in the hands of his own people.

Its weight is equivalent to a human arm.

You can definitely live without an arm, but the inconveniences caused in daily life are also visible to the naked eye.

In this way, when the Buddhas could not kill Xuanzang and could only break Xuanzang's Buddha's heart by discerning the Dharma, but Xuanzang could do so without any scruples, the balance of victory and defeat had already been deflected, not to mention the journey from the Eastern Land to the West during the Tang Dynasty. Seeking scriptures, Xuanzang never encountered any difficulties or obstacles along the way.

He is not the soft, frail, tender-skinned Tang monk described in Journey to the West. If you want to break Xuanzang's Buddha's heart with verbal attacks, it will not be much easier than for a mortal to ascend to heaven.

Of course, it is not impossible to get angry and get carried away. However, facts have long proved that when you meet Xuanzang, you'd better reason with him. After all, if you really take action, he will understand clearly. Let me tell you, how terrifying it would be for a monk to carry the Mahayana personality in a mortal body!

Standing at the highest point of Lingshan Mountain, where the Main Hall used to be, Xuanzang glanced around.

According to the scriptures, it soared hundreds of feet into the sky and towered over the sky. Looking down to watch the sunset, picking up flying stars and other strange and gorgeous scenery disappeared, replaced by scorched earth all over the ground, and solidified magma can be seen everywhere.

The gray-white ash that can be seen everywhere spreads a thick layer on the cooled magma stone. Some incomplete corpses that have not yet been completely burned are randomly inserted on the ground. The ruins and broken walls are scattered all over the place, telling the various disasters that Lingshan has suffered.

As for the descendants of the Buddha and the Bodhisattvas gathered in the Main Hall who had not been directly affected by the fire purgatory, they all had gray heads and dirty faces, and their clothes were in rags, with the fear and panic of the aftermath of the disaster still on their faces.

He understood that at this moment, this encounter was the result of Di You's anger, but Lingshan's previous actions were purely blessings and misfortunes. He could only bring it upon himself, and he could not blame others.

But some regrets are inevitable

"Xuan Zang, come and sit at Lingshan. The poor monk understands!"

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, who has been protecting the Buddhas and protecting the Main Hall from the flames of war, his expression declined as he spoke: "Lingshan has become yesterday. If you want to discern the Dharma, you probably won't have the chance!"

"Yes, when the poor monk saw all this, he knew that the poor monk won after all!"

When Lingshan still maintained all kinds of decadent Dharma brought from the Buddha's origin, from ordinary temples to large-scale donations, enclosure of land, lending, and even raising private soldiers, there was no Buddha or Bodhisattva who came out to distinguish right from wrong and clean things up. When the door opens, everything is doomed.

Xuanzang looked past the leader of the team, Guanyin Bodhisattva, and looked at the Buddha behind him, who had a handsome face and a spotless cassock. He looked at the Buddha who looked like he was 80% similar to himself, but more gentle and innocent, and asked:

"You are Jin Chanzi, that Tang Monk, what is the Merit Buddha?"

Hearing this, the disciples who were standing behind Xuanzang and whispering suddenly looked serious, and the murderous intent in their eyes was undisguised as they looked at Tang Monk who was behind the Buddhas and under heavy protection.

"You are the only one imitating my master? That doesn't look that good. Where are your disciples who can do anything? Pull them out and let's see? Let's have a competition to see whether the real one is better or you fake ones are more capable!"

"Hey, look at this delicate skin and tender flesh. No wonder any demon on the journey to the west can't resist the temptation of Tang Monk's flesh. Not to mention the pretty little demon, even a rough man like me can't help but want to fall in love with her!"

"What do you know, you fool? How can those stupid male demons understand the benefits of Tang Monk? After a meal, In terms of being full and being full every meal, those female demons are still clear. They not only make themselves happy, but also improve their cultivation. They are simply winning! "

"Brother, we monks should not talk about evil things casually!"

"What's this? Compared with this meritorious Buddha who can become a Buddha even though he is reluctant to leave the Queen of the Kingdom of Women, our little mouth karma will not hinder us from becoming Buddhas, right?"

"."

Compared to Master Xuanzang who doesn't care much about this, his disciples who have been recruited on the road to seeking Buddha can't stand this kind of misidentification.

In particular, except for the horse, the so-called Journey to the West almost used their master and apprentice team. That's fine, but the key is that his master was portrayed as a foolish monk who is ignorant of worldly affairs and does not know right from wrong. This is unbearable!

The fake Master Xuanzang: Wukong save me, Wuneng save me, Wujing save me, you monkey, Amitabha!

The real Master Xuanzang: Are there any monks who are still dissatisfied? If you don't understand Buddhist principles, I also know a little about boxing and kicking. Genius is just the threshold to see me; this donor, please pick up the scriptures on the ground, I will teach you to pick them up! Mahayana, Jietuotian, and the spokesperson of Dawanjue!

What is Tang Seng?

With his own strength, from the Tang Dynasty to the source of Buddhism, and then to the Tang Dynasty, Tubo, the four barbarians, and even the deep mountains and old forests, wherever there are Buddhas, wherever there are unrighteous Buddhist principles, they have been slaughtered. A few disciples can only be used when eating, drinking, and listening to lectures. At other times, they are no different from pendants. This is called Tang Seng!

Instead of being thirsty or hungry all day, being confused by demons every day, or being captured and forced to marry in the cave, that is called Tang Seng.

Adding fuel to the fire, verbal attacks are the result of their patience many times.

That is to say, his master did not make it clear, otherwise, who would still be here to complain? He would have rushed up to catch that guy and brought him to the master to apologize!

"What? Can you kill me just by staring at me?"

"You relied on your three disciples to be so violent on the way to the west, why are you so listless now? Where are your disciples? Come out and have a look!"

"Disciples."

When Tang Seng, who was standing among the Buddhas, heard the words, he looked up at the eldest disciple who was squatting on the glazed tiles of the main hall, looking up at the sky and wondering what he was thinking; he turned to look at the second disciple who was smiling but retreated after noticing his gaze; the third disciple was loyal to his master, but he was kicked off the top of the mountain by the opposite side before he could say a word, and turned into a rolling gourd and smashed down the mountain with a bang. The unscrupulous laughter was particularly harsh and unpleasant.

"This"

Noticing the eight celestial dragons lying on the pillars of the main hall, he couldn't help but sighed: "I lost!"

In terms of boxing and kicking, Jin Chanzi may not be good, even after becoming a Buddha, he is not good at fighting.

But in terms of Buddhism, there are only a few Buddhas who can surpass him. However, this only plus point is useless when it comes to this Tubo, which is famous for debating scriptures and even single-handedly overthrowing the Buddhas in the lower world.

Just like a general who talks about war on paper and a general who has fought a hundred battles, those who play theory can't beat the big man who is good at both theory and practice.

Especially, the desertion of several disciples is the last straw that broke the camel's back for Jin Chanzi. He thought that he was doing a good job as a master before, and several disciples were also filial. Now that the disaster is imminent, the sudden indifference and ridicule directly broke his few confidence.

After his self-esteem was shattered, he became the ignorant monk who was "ignorant of worldly affairs" on the journey to the west. His eyes for help moved to the back of Guanyin Bodhisattva almost instantly.

Feeling the dense gazes of the Buddha of Merit staring at him from behind, even the Bodhisattva, who was used to big scenes, couldn't help but sweat for himself.

Speak some sense!

He is just a Bodhisattva. Even if the Buddha was dragged away by someone, there are so many Buddhas above his head, the Three-Life Buddha, the Three-World Buddha, and the Five-Direction Buddha. When will it be his turn to speak for the Lingshan Master!

In a flash, the Bodhisattva took a few steps back without a sound and revealed Amitabha Buddha.

Seeing this, Master Xuanzang, who had just turned a deaf ear to the reckless and evil deeds of his disciples, pretended to be deaf and mute, sighed softly, waved to the fat disciple behind him, and obediently brought an old, dark-colored Two red futons.

One casually threw it on the ground, and the other carefully patted his hands to wipe the dust. With a smile on his face, he helped his master and slowly sat down: "Master, do you want to prepare some dry food and clean water for you? Disciple, look at the number of Buddhas in Lingshan. Quite a few, I’m afraid your dry mouth may affect your condition later!”

Hearing this, Master Xuanzang shook his head: "In front of the true Buddha, it is better not to be so rash. The emperor has a heavy life, so I will try my best to save time!"

"Yes, then, disciples, go find a few Arhats to warm up first. If you need anything, please greet me!"

The eldest disciple leisurely helped his master tidy up his cassocks, arranged the scene, and then led the two junior brothers behind him to turn around and seek trouble for the Arhats. He completely ignored the many Buddhas with dark faces opposite him, and did not think that his master was here. In front of thousands of Buddha's enemies, will there be any surprises?

Well, Master Xuanzang really doesn’t need to read it when he’s discussing scriptures with others.

As the saying goes: wake up with another victory!

When the dilapidated Lingshan entered the queuing wall, oh, no, the rhythm of queuing to discern the law, at this time Kyushu was caught in the panic of disaster warning from all directions.

Just as he watched the angry Di You hit Lingshan with his front foot, he kicked open the door of Lingshan.

Before everyone could speculate about peeping, this person had already retreated. Even more than that, a sharp-eyed person could see the man's head that was hung on Diyou's waist by an immortal rope and was speeding along.

After traveling through Kyushu several times, there may be some who are not very familiar with the appearance of God Haotian, but there is absolutely no one who does not know the Buddha.

After all, compared to the immortals in heaven who can handle everything with just one memorial tablet, Lingshan's intensity in publicity work is definitely full.

As one of the thirty-two typical signs of the Buddha, the bun symbolizes profound power and wisdom. It covers the head so densely. Who else can have this honor except the Lord of Lingshan?

But it is precisely the knowledge that causes fear.

Even Lingshan was leveled and the Buddha was captured, but the anger on Diyou's body did not diminish at all. The violent flames turned into red dragons and surrounded Diyou's legs with fangs and claws, and the golden eyes looked down greedily. In all directions, anyone who dared to look at him could feel the deep despair and destruction.

No one knows why the previous battle failed to dispel Diyu's anger and allow him to calm down for a few days, but everyone knows that if Diyu is targeted by Diyu in this state, it will basically be a disaster. The ending of death and no life!

No accidents, no flukes!

The only human race that was not so timid in this regard also had a complicated expression.

As the news spread, various Taoist traditions began to promote the new emperor. Even the old farmers who worked all day in the fields knew that there was an emperor in Kyushu who hated evil as much as he hated him - an emperor with the surname You!

He kills evil gods at the top and eliminates demons at the bottom. Even evil people and treacherous people cannot escape from His hand.

When faced with a dilemma, chanting about the gods and Buddhas in the sky may not necessarily save one's life, but after chanting about Emperor You, someone will definitely send the other person to the underworld for a public trial. There will be no mercy, no favoritism, no merit or fault. Even illiterate people can be satisfied if their rewards and punishments are innocent.

And the reason why it's so difficult to say anything even after knowing that there is another ruthless character in his ancestors who responds to every request, is entirely because this person's acting style is too unique.

It is true that Emperor You hates evil as much as his enemies. However, wherever he appears, mountains collapse and the ground cracks, earth dragons turn over, rivers are cut off, and fires set fire to the prairie fire. Such disasters, which are rare in thousands of years, are common. All things are destroyed, and all living beings are destroyed. Death is not uncommon.

Even if the emperor's own methods can avoid the impact on mortals, the changes in the local environment and the destruction on the material level are enough to harm countless people. This fact cannot be concealed. Because of the impact on E, not only the people went to the underworld to report in advance. Ten million.

Although afterward, no matter the court, the land, or even the underworld, many parties will be busy sweeping the floor.

Redrawing mountains and rivers, harvesting crops, resettling refugees, and even the dead will make a mark in the book of life and death to offset past sins, or slightly improve the treatment of the next life during reincarnation.

All arrangements were very satisfying, no complaints.

But the fear during the period is always unavoidable. What's more, no matter how big the compensation is, for those ordinary people who like stability and insist on not encountering any troubles and injustice in the present, such unnecessary actions are somewhat annoying.

But just as the world will not stop because of one person, when the concept of human race is divided, these people who were born in peace and grew up in peace are also not within the scope of Zhang Ke's attention.

At this time, Zhang Ke, who was flying in the sky, was holding the Buddha's head that didn't feel good enough around his waist, and asked calmly: "Since you know my purpose, the Buddha is well-informed, so he should be able to give me some pointers, right?"

"Even if the Buddha puts life and death aside, he still has to think about the many descendants of Buddha in Lingshan. Even if I try to backtrack now, the emperors won't say anything, let alone."

"Lingshan has suffered such a great crime. Is it possible that the Buddha can just watch other beings stay away from it?"

"."

Originally, Zhang Ke was worried that the Buddha would be stubborn and refuse to cooperate after his mentality collapsed. Then it would be difficult for Zhang Ke to find a know-it-all guide. But who would have thought that this thing would cooperate surprisingly well.

Before Zhang Ke finished speaking, He listed hundreds of targets like pouring beans.
