Asking about longevity

This book was written for obsession from the beginning.

I want to write about the world of immortals in my heart, the characters I want to write about, and the concept of "immortals" in my heart:

The greatest heroes serve the country and the people.

The greatest immortals are the world of great harmony.

Some readers can see this theme, but most may not feel it.

But this is my obsession for writing.

The reason why I was able to persist in writing this book when my grades were very poor and when I wrote four million words, I still persisted in writing, is because of my obsession.

I can only write for obsession.

Writing a long novel is a very tormenting thing. It takes a very firm will to write day and night at the desk. For other reasons, I would have given up long ago, or ended it hastily, and wrote the next one.

In real life, I have a mild temper and rarely argue with others. I rarely argue with others on the Internet.

But recently, a lot of people suddenly criticized me and accused me of being water. Among them, there were a lot of apprentices and disciples who copied and pasted a bad review two or three times. I really couldn't stand it.

Because they think I write slowly, they criticized me for being water.

I admit this.

But some people will criticize you no matter what you write.

Whether it's writing dialogues, battles, characters, foreshadowing, or settings, as long as they are unhappy, they can always find an angle to criticize you, and they always use a panacea word: water.

This is not a new book.

A novel of four million words, what kind of rhythm, if you have really read it, you should have a rough idea in your mind.

This is originally a slow-paced novel with a detailed plot.

There are so many fast-paced, short, flat, and decisive novels on Qidian. You can go and read them.

Some readers, who obviously just want to be "satisfied" in a short and flat way and don't like this type of story, have to come here to criticize me, asking me to follow their ideas, speed up the pace, and write the novel they want to read?

Then they always say that this book is broken, the ending is bad, and the further it goes, the worse it gets. I really don't understand.

This book has many deep foreshadowings, and many plots are also causal.

In the sword-fighting conference, so many characters appeared, they are not extras, they are not written once and then thrown away, they will have many grievances and hatreds with the protagonist in the future.

Now they are just geniuses of the sect, just a sword-fighting, but in the future world struggle, these are all key figures, and they will play with the protagonist.

These characters are not written, all are glossed over, and my outline at the end is directly cut off?

Some people say that I will water down one book for a lifetime.

The industry is so competitive now. If you are lazy and perfunctory, no one will read this book long ago, so there is no room for you to really water it down.

If novels are really so good at "watering down", you can try to open one yourself.

I have a copy of Mao's Selected Works on my desk. Whenever I have time, I will read On Practice over and over again.
