Azeroth Monster Manual
#15 - Sarona Bio-Alchemy Workshop-Marshall Branch
“Any other questions?”
“It's not about the money, although we really do need money…” Willide wrung his hands, looking awkward.
“Let's get to the point, Mr. Marshall. I don't want to waste my precious time on useless pleasantries.”
Aier frowned, looking impatiently at the mountain of 'materials'.
“It's like this, Mr. Sarona…” Willide pointed to the two guards at the cave entrance, saying with a disappointed tone:
“Larian and Murkin, these two idiots, got lost while hunting a month ago, and brought no small trouble to our camp when they returned.”
“Nonsense, it's all Murkin's fault! If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have gotten lost. What's worse, those crazy plants he brought back are about to wreak havoc on the entire camp!”
A black-haired dwarf, sporting a beard as splendid as Hermit's, waved his hammer and made a rude gesture at the human male opposite him.
“You don't understand animal taming at all. Those little darlings can be tamed. They are indeed troublesome, but I believe that with proper training, they can obey me.”
The human male, wearing a green linen shirt, argued reasonably.
“Enough! Can you two bastards be quiet for a moment? Who do you think is to blame for this?”
Willide roared at the two bickering fools.
“Sorry, I've made you laugh, Lord Aier.”
“It doesn't matter. What I'm curious about is what this human is referring to as 'little darlings'?” Aier keenly noticed the key point in their conversation.
“Lord Aier, what I want to ask of you is this. If you can help us, you can choose any location for the Marshall camp.”
“Oh? Tell me about it.”
…
After Willide's explanation, Aier understood their current predicament. The human named Murkin had brought back a strange plant called a Bloodpetal Flower from somewhere outside the valley.
He had intended to tame this creature like a wild beast, but unexpectedly, this plant's intelligence was almost zero, and it had occupied the edge of the camp in just a few days.
Although the Bloodpetal Flower's attack power wasn't very high, its trouble was extraordinarily significant, thanks to its extremely fast reproduction rate.
“Oh, hell, it's biting my foot! It's all your fault, you cuckolded bastard!”
“That's a shirt, you idiot. You three-inch nail will never understand the high-end aesthetics of a botanist.”
Willide covered his forehead, his head aching. Larian and Murkin had been arguing all the way, and he couldn't wait to kick them both to the ground.
“Lord, it's right here.”
Appearing before the group was a spacious clearing. The scene that met Aier's eyes was as if he had come to a greenhouse in his previous life.
Blooming plants were everywhere, and patches of Bloodpetal Flowers wandered aimlessly, occasionally stretching their emerald green vines. Their developed root systems allowed them to not have to root in the ground like ordinary plants; their rhizomes were their feet.
The Bloodpetal Flower looked like the Flerken from the Marvel universe, except its mouth was only split into four petals, without organs, and two short forelimbs waved like arms.
“It overlaps with the materials I've collected, but it's not bad.”
Aier stroked his chin, saying with interest.
“Master, what do you think?” Willide asked uneasily.
“Don't worry, leave it to me. I'll settle it for you within three days. Before that, can I choose my residence?”
“Of course, of course…”
Willide sighed heavily, the big stone in his heart finally lifted.
He didn't doubt Aier's strength. A big shot from the legendary magic kingdom, who had also reportedly saved the hunting expert Hermit's life, must have some ability.
If these Bloodpetal Flowers were allowed to continue to breed, then this small Marshall camp would only end up falling apart. He had to seize this last straw.
…
“I think this place is good. Let's start.”
“But… but there's nothing here.”
Willide looked at the stone wall in front of him with some doubt. If it weren't for the 'high-quality goods' emitting a faint blue light on the elf boy's back, he would have begun to suspect that this 'big shot' beside him had some kind of mental illness.
“Everyone stand back, I'm about to show off.”
Aiernis: I'm familiar with this word.
…
“Although it's only excellent quality, it's enough.”
Ignoring the surprised gazes of the crowd behind him, Aier took out a two-handed greatsword from his space backpack.
The [Quel'dorei Greatsword] was a weapon given to him by Salorean before he left, and he instructed him not to slack off on his physical training, and that he would test his martial skills when he returned to Quel'Thalas next time.
Aier walked leisurely closer to the stone wall, tapping and knocking on the uneven stones, observing carefully.
“Hermit, this… Lord, is he…?”
Willide finally couldn't hold back. He lowered his voice and asked quietly:
“Did you see that direhorn's head?”
Hermit didn't give a direct answer, but just pointed with his mouth towards the mountain of 'materials' piled up in the corner.
“Lord Aier killed it all by himself, including that pile of strange-shaped creatures are all his trophies.”
“Sorry, I thought…”
Willide quietly wiped his cold sweat. He had thought that the pile of strange creatures were prey hunted jointly by Hermit and his companions, but who would have thought that so many terrifying creatures were all the trophies of the young man in front of him.
“The texture of the stone is not bad.”
Aier didn't notice the whispers of the two behind him. The greatsword with the Quel'dorei style floated in the air and waved a few sword flowers, causing the crowd behind him to exclaim in unison.
Aier stood in place, and telekinesis commanded the Quel'dorei Greatsword to cut the hard stone wall in front of him knife by knife.
“First, cut the protruding stones flat, then the internal space…”
The greatsword turned into an afterimage in the air, and stone chips fell to the ground like raindrops. After a while, the small mountain in front of everyone slowly became flat, and after a while, the shape of the small mountain gradually had the outline of a house.
The exclamations of the crowd had long stopped, and they all widened their eyes and opened their mouths. The whole place was silent enough to drop a needle, leaving only the rustling sound of the greatsword cutting stones.
“Okay, done.”
Aier clapped his hands and looked at his masterpiece with satisfaction.
The brown mountain had long been hollowed out, revealing a unique three-story small building in front of everyone. Upon closer inspection, stone tables and chairs could be seen in the room.
“By the Holy Light, this… is truly a miracle.”
Marshall collapsed to the ground, trembling, mumbling something unknown, and the two fools behind him were no better off. One was shaking his legs, and the other was rubbing his eyes vigorously, shaking his head like a rattle.
“Finished work, by the way, do you guys sell furniture and doors and windows here?”
Aier gathered the stone chips on the ground as if nothing had happened and threw them to the other side of the mountain.
“Yes… yes.”
Hermit, with a complicated expression and a hint of excitement, quickly replied.
…
Three days later
“Hoo, I didn't expect such a small Bloodpetal Flower to have so many wonderful uses…”
Aier took off the ruby-made monocle, rubbed his eyes with dark circles, and took a long breath.

“It's really worth it.”
A satisfied smile appeared on Aier's tired face. After three days of sleepless research, he finally activated the Bloodpetal Flower's monster illustration.
“Hermit, where are the people?”
“I'm here, Lord Aier.”
Hermit, with a tired face, had just gotten out of bed. He hadn't been idle for the past three days either, helping to purchase furniture, doors, and windows, and properly arranging Aier's research materials were all handled by him.
“Hang up the sign, take a day off, and go find Willide tomorrow.”
“Lord… Lord, has your research been successful?”
Hermit stared at a bottle of pale yellow potion on Aier's table with glowing eyes, and asked.
“You'll know tomorrow. Before that, I want to… yawn, take a nap.”
Aier yawned, and fell asleep on the table before he could finish speaking.
Hermit carefully came to Aier's side. He didn't reach out to touch the bottle of light yellow potion, but took off the cloak on his body and covered the tired young man in front of him.
Picking up the sign in the corner, Hermit quietly exited the room.
