Azeroth Monster Manual
#4 - Who leaked the news?
In less than two days, El returned to Sunstrider Isle, the place where his dream began.
Skillfully dispelling the treant saplings that were about to overflow and become a disaster, he arrived at Dath'Remar's Shrine with a complex state of mind.
The bronze plaque beside the shrine read: "Here lies the Shrine of Dath'Remar, in memory of a noble elf. May all who see it remember the sacrifice he made, for it is because of him that our lives are sustained, Quel'Thalas thanks him."
Tender little hands gently caressed the heavy stone tablet, which was covered with intricate gold and red patterns, elegant and mysterious.
El gazed at it for a moment, then walked with some melancholy to the steep hillside beside the shrine, gazing silently at the endless sea where the sky and water met.
"I will protect the heritage of 4000 years..."
...
This year marks Kael'nel Sunflare's 28th year working at the Falserine Academy. For the long-lived high elves, it's nothing, but today is different. In view of his rich teaching experience and the recently passed five-ring archmage qualification certificate, the dean exceptionally promoted him to acting associate professor of the Evocation Department.
"To get straight to the point, the establishment of spell models directly affects how far you can go in the arcane path in the future..."
The smug Kael'nel stood on the podium, gesticulating wildly, using Mage Hand to manipulate the chalk and write complex Thalassian on the blackboard. He was in high spirits, talking non-stop, and the little elf closest to him helplessly wiped the saliva from his face, looking utterly hopeless.
Looking at the group of high elf cubs sitting under the podium, Kael'nel showed an intoxicated expression. Suddenly, he frowned and picked up a piece of chalk and threw it towards the corner of the classroom.
"The golden-haired kid in the back, stand up for me!"
A group of golden-haired high elf children stood up in the classroom with a rustling sound.
Kael'nel waved his hand with a black line on his forehead, signaling the children to sit down. He paced to the corner and looked at the little elf sleeping in front of him.
"Ahem," Kael'nel cleared his throat.
The little elf remained unmoved, even making a slight snoring sound.
"Stand up for me!"
Kael'nel roared in exasperation, unable to bear it any longer. How dare a mere cub challenge the authority of an associate professor, he thought indignantly.
The bubble in his nostril burst, and the little elf was startled, reflexively standing up and looking around blankly.
The children laughed 'haha', and the whole classroom was filled with a sea of joy.
"Very good, I've remembered you, what... is... your... name!"
Kael'nel's forehead burst with veins, and he said each word slowly and deliberately.
"This old man's name is El Salronas."
A brief silence.
"You, you, you, what did you say your name was?" Kael'nel asked with a panicked expression, ignoring El's title of 'old man', as if he had heard something terrifying.
El rubbed his sleepy eyes, looking helplessly at the panicked 'young man' in front of him.
"This old man's name is El Salronas, young man, what's the matter?"
Kael'nel put away the remaining anger on his face like a face-changing act in Peking opera, and said with a flattering expression.
"It turns out that Councilor Salronas is here to observe the class today, look at my memory. I just thought it was a bit cold today, and I was afraid you would catch a cold. You continue to sleep, I'll be quieter, quieter, haha, hahahaha."
"Forget it, I'm awake anyway, you continue to talk, I have something to discuss with Dean Falserine."
El shook his head, put his hands behind his back, and walked out of the classroom leisurely with the posture of an old cadre.
Kael'nel Sunflare: I'm done for...
El obviously had no intention of retaliating against a 'young man'. He really had something to discuss with Dean Falserine.
Falserine Academy was built in the second millennium after the high elves crossed the sea to establish the Sunwell. After two thousand years of gradual improvement, it is divided into two major academies: the Academy of Mages and the Academy of Priests. The deans are: Falserine, Dean of the Academy of Mages, and Fendrel, Dean of the Academy of Priests.
The entire building is in the gold and red color that the high elves love most. The towering spire pierces the clouds, and the solid base is rooted in the magic net base point for easy access to arcane energy.
El strolled along the corridor winding in the air, reaching out to caress the transparent air wall. This is a constant arcane barrier, used to prevent clumsy mage apprentices from falling.
El smiled knowingly as he looked down at the high elf children playing by the lake.

"Knock knock"
"Come in"
A hoarse and magnetic female voice came from inside the door, and El pushed the door open and entered.
Falserine is 2500 years old this year and has entered the countdown of her life. Her hair has turned pure white, and the well-maintained corners of her eyes have also quietly grown crow's feet.
"I've heard of you, El."
Falserine stopped her work, elegantly pushed up her slipping gold-rimmed glasses, she smiled slightly, looking at El with interest.
"My honor, madam."
El bowed slightly, without his usual mischievousness and willfulness. This was the most basic respect for a senior who had been on the front line of education for 2000 years.
"Don't be restrained, child, your grandfather and I were very good friends, didn't he mention it to you?" Falserine looked at the serious junior in front of her with increasing satisfaction, and her smile became brighter.
"Of course, madam, I learned from my grandfather that you are a respectable person, and it is my greatest luck to be able to work here."
"Oh? Belovar's old thing didn't say that in his letter." Falserine looked at the twitching high elf cub with a teasing expression.
"Let the past be the past..."
El scratched his head awkwardly. He knew that the dean in front of him was alluding to his previous four rejections of the academy's invitation.
"Tell me, Councilor, what brings you here?"
"You're joking, just call me El, Madam Falserine, it's like this, I have an immature suggestion, I hope you can agree."
"Even His Majesty Anasterian praised the rising star who actually has a suggestion for me, then I'll listen carefully."
Falserine chuckled, coupled with her intellectual temperament that she exuded all the time, she had a different kind of charm.
"Then I'll get straight to the point..."
"Speak without restraint."
...
No one knew what El said in the dean's office, but the whole academy spread the word the next day that the newly arrived honorary Councilor Salronas would be giving a big class at the Whispering Pool in a week.
"Have you heard? The kid from the Salronas family is said to be giving a class in a week, it's really hilarious, Belovar's grandson is only 10 years old, right? A kid who still smells of milk is actually learning from a professor to give a big class..."
A brown-haired apprentice whispered to his companion in the classroom, looking quite disdainful.
"No way? No way? Is there really someone who hasn't heard the name of Alchemist El? Is your village not connected to the internet?"
"Eh eh eh?"
...
"Have you heard? Engineering Master El is going to give a big class! In a week."
"Isn't Mr. El a master of magic patterns? How did he become an engineer again?"
"Don't mind those details, I'm going to set off tomorrow to get a good spot."
...
"Magister El is going to give a class, everyone, let's go together, whether we can be promoted to a junior mage depends on a week later."
...
"What? His Majesty the Sun King will be coming to the Whispering Pool in seven days to observe Grand Magister El's lecture?"
...
El walked in the residential area of Sunstrider Isle, looking at a high elf couple carrying luggage and looking excited, feeling a headache. From their mouths, it was not difficult to hear that they were saying 'High Priest El is imparting wonderful tips for treating infertility, those who want children, follow me'.
"It's getting more and more outrageous? How are the rumors flying everywhere, who leaked the news?" El covered his forehead and quietly slipped away.
Kael'nel Sunflare: I am promoting Master El so hard, Master El will definitely forgive me for my past transgressions, maybe it won't be long before I get promoted and get a raise, become a general manager, become a CEO, marry a rich and beautiful woman, and reach the pinnacle of my life, thinking about it makes me a little excited, right?
"I'm really a little clever ghost, hehe hehe." Kael'nel was having an orgasm in his brain while drooling.
Below the lesson plan, the elf cub wrung his wet cuffs with a numb face and wiped his shiny forehead.
'It's decided, I'll transfer to the Priest Academy tomorrow'
