Basketball glory

Chapter 8 The Growth of Two People

"Ellie"

"Ellie?"

"Elle Fanning!"

"What are you shouting? I'm listening."

In a recording studio in London, England, a little girl was lying on the sofa in a daze.

After a week of continuous work, I looked a little haggard.

But this cannot conceal Ellie's beauty. Her golden curly hair hangs on her thin shoulders, and her light blue eyes flicker, making people wonder what she is thinking.

Her slender legs were resting on the armrests of the sofa, and her little pink cotton socks were curled up and down, like a noble and elegant cat curled up by the warm fireside.

The person who came over and called her was her agent. The director asked her to bring some scripts, but Ellie didn't notice her at all.

"You finally have a day off, don't you want to go out for a walk?"

Ellie, who was disturbed by her manager, was obviously not in a good mood, and said in a soft voice: "Please, there are people outside."

Since the crew arrived in London a week ago, they were exposed by unknown media, so a large group of fans gathered outside the studio, hoping to see them.

It's okay when you go on location. Once you stay in the studio, the director will let some fans in to increase your exposure.

It cannot be denied that Ellie is indeed very kind to her fans, but she does not want to spend most of her energy on social media.

Rather, I hope to bring more works and let everyone see a better version of myself.

Obviously, Elle's slightly aloof image off the court did not make fans feel left out.

She started out as a child star and became a popular female star in the United States with her good acting skills.

At the age of 17, she was studying and shooting movies at the same time. She felt that life was so beautiful, until something happened a few months ago.

"You're out of your mind. Are you still thinking about him?"

"yes"

Seeing Aili's generous admission, the woman in work clothes became angry.

"I just helped you once, isn't it like this?"

"Oh, sister An, you don't understand, she is really very nice."

The 17-year-old girl has already made her own judgment, and the flowers of love should bloom accordingly.

"Friends in Baltimore say..."

"What did you say?"

Amy's lazy body immediately sat up when she heard this sentence. Her small waist was leaning against the sofa to outline a perfect and attractive curve.

"You can be released on bail, but it will have to be at least two years later."

"Ah" a plaintive tone came from Ellie's mouth.

"How long does it take? But it's a prison, and the conditions are very poor."

"That's enough. You were framed by a powerful man. It's great if you can secretly get him out. Two years? It's short enough."

It seemed that what she said made sense, and Ellie's expression relaxed slightly, but her pouted mouth still made people feel aggrieved.

"So you have to work hard this year and become better."

After hearing her words, Ellie thought that this was indeed the case, so she decided to pick up the script in her hand and quickly memorize the lines.

But what Elle doesn't know is that her agent is thinking that when "Maleficent" is released, Elle's fame will soar again.

How could that man who came out of prison be so embarrassed to rely on her?

"Be gentle, not so stiff."

"Where are you looking? Look at what your hands are doing."

"Who taught you this? The arc is too low."

On the other side, An Ran, who finally obtained the qualification to use the basketball court, started practicing shooting.

It has been two months since I came here, and I have been practicing non-stop every day, which has made Anron's ball control skills reach a bottleneck.

So Smith decided to take him to practice shooting.

I know that if I want to make a breakthrough when I control the ball next time, I must hone myself in constant games.

But if I don't have stable shooting, I won't be able to play many games here.

There are only three days until the next No. 1, and Grant promised that he can get a chance to play as a backup point guard this time.

As their understanding increased, Anron's miraculous ball control led Grant and several people to strongly urge him to transform.

After all, it is an indisputable fact that his shooting ability is not very good.

However, Smith still did not forget to build An Ran into a scorer with super scoring ability, and would take him to practice shooting whenever he had time.

As the game approached, neither the prison guards nor the prisoners chose confrontational training.

The right way to conserve your strength at this juncture is to avoid injury.

Although so far, no one in the prison has suffered serious injuries due to basketball, but this does not mean that they will be careless.

"An, your attack point should be higher."

In Grant's view, Anron's shooting form was very non-standard.

The shooting point is just above the head, so that your hands will always block your sight, and the low shooting arc makes it easier to be blocked.

Fortunately, the shooting speed is pretty good, otherwise this kind of shooting would become a loophole in real games.

An Ran clearly feels that shooting depends on feeling, and if you are confident and dare to shoot, you will make it.

Although I don't know if it's right or not, after a period of training, the shooting effect is pretty good.

"Come on, everyone, let's practice our tactics today."

After an hour of activities, Grant gathered everyone together. Everyone who knew basketball knew some tactics.

Grant is obviously better at this.

"Bowen point guard, Josh Thompson, you will play the shooting position, Davis, you and Koufos will play the third and fourth positions, and I will play the center."

The starting lineup was decided, and everyone began to practice running positions under the guidance.

In fact, this has always been a regular starter in the prisoner team.

Whenever there is someone with excellent basketball talent, he will be attracted to the team.

On the one hand, it can deepen the depth of the lineup, and on the other hand, it can prevent others from forming a super team to overturn the team and occupy the court.

"Can you tell anything?" Smith and An Ran crouched down the field and looked at several people who were rehearsing tactics.

Smith suddenly asked.

"The off-ball screen in the low post is very good. It can be seen that Bowen and Grant are the strong points."

Smith nodded, indicating that what he said was good.

"But the real effect depends on the execution on the field."

An Ran can see that the constant movement of the ball is more often to cause damage to Grant in the interior.

Bowen's positioning is from the outside and he shoots three-pointers.

If the opponent chokes any of these two points, there will probably be a gap in the attack.

The constant cross-screening is to create opportunities for the two of them.

If Smith could understand what An Ran was thinking, he would definitely be amazed.

Just from the positioning, you can guess the team's tactics. Otherwise, Enron's golf quotient is not low.

"If you can stabilize your shooting, you won't be able to make it as a starter."

Smith said sourly.

"Just take it step by step. I think I have made very rapid progress recently."

An Ran responded in a low voice, and then turned his eyes to the field to watch the practice of several of them.

From his words, Smith felt a hint of growth that had faded away from impetuousness, and he had more confidence in Enron.
