Chapter 268: One hundred and eighty-three. Anne's arrangement

Chapter 268 One Hundred Eighty Three. Anne's Arrangement

After waiting for a while, Aunt Mary came downstairs wearing a light gray dress.

She glanced at Anna, who looked awkward, and said to Lu Li, "Let's go, I'll take you to Old Henry's place."

Before going out, Anna hid her soul, and Mary touched where Anna had been before in surprise.

   "Are you still there, Anna?"

"Um."

Ana's voice came from the air behind the palm.

The two people on the bright side went to the carriage shop to retrieve the carriage and drove to the old Henry's residence.

The people they were looking for lived on the outskirts of Shymfast, and most of the people who lived here were civilians—just like Belfast's status as a mountaintop was different as it got closer to the top.

After ten minutes, the carriage stopped in front of a house.

Mary stepped forward and knocked on the door, and the door opened shortly after, revealing a well-groomed, anxious face.

Mary seemed to have a good relationship with old Henry. She asked what happened to old Henry. Old Henry told her that his son, Henry, didn't come back all day last night, and he was about to go out to the tavern where his son often punched.

Mary told Old Henry to take it easy, and asked to look at Lu Li to see if he could ask Old Henry to find his son first.

Lu Li nodded, indicating that they could go together.

It would be much faster if there was a carriage.

"Thank you so much, you should have something to do with me. I'll go with you when I find Henry."

The father relaxes a bit and steps into the carriage with Mary.

Anna didn't stay in the carriage, and no one could see her sitting beside Lu Li who was driving the carriage outside the carriage.

After a while, the carriage stopped at the entrance of the tavern leading to the basement.

Old Henry jumped out of the carriage and entered the deepest door below. After waiting quietly for a few minutes, Old Henry returned to the ground with a worried look on his face: "They said that Henry left the tavern last night..."

"Maybe I went to play with my friends, young man..." Aunt Mary comforted old Henry.

"No...he never stays out too late."

Mary pursed her lips: "Or maybe he found a little girlfriend? Think about it carefully, has there been anything unusual about him recently."

Old Henry was startled, obviously thinking of something, the worry on his face gradually faded, and he couldn't help laughing and scolding: "This little bastard..."

Mary smiled softly: "He's nineteen years old, he's getting old."

"Forget it, let's not talk about that little bastard." Old Henry waved his hand. "Mary, what's the matter with you coming to see me today? And with an unfamiliar face."

Mary looked at Lu Li and found that his attention was not on the two of them. Following his gaze, she saw a dark alley next to the basement bar.

This kind of dark alleys can be seen everywhere in the city, it is not surprising.

After a pause, she continued to introduce Lu Li to Old Henry: "This friend has some questions about the garden that he would like to consult."

"You've found the right person, you can't find someone more professional than me in Shymfast." Old Henry patted his chest and assured.

Mary also smiled and said: "Aside from some big words, what he said is almost true, Shymfast is not much more professional than old Henry."

An average gardener cannot buy a house.

"Hey! It's not good to demolish my stage in front of others." Old Henry complained loudly.

Lu Li has already looked away, and after a brief tidying up, he will tell old Henry about transporting Annie back to Belfast.

"Belfast... I've been there, when the sea was still blue and the sky was blue. I'm sorry, it's easy to think of the old days when you are older, you have to tell me in detail about the tree before I can judge. Whether it can be shipped."

Lu Li was about to speak when Mary interrupted him and said, "Get in the carriage, let's go to Madam Anlei's manor."

Old Henry muttered thoughtfully: "Is it there...I probably know which one you are talking about."

They returned to the carriage, and as Lu Li pulled the reins, the carriage slowly left the basement bar.

   and that quiet dark alley.

  …

"I came here a year ago, but it feels like I've been away for a long time."

A sigh came from the carriage parked outside the gate of the manor.

"The city has become ugly and ugly since the plants stopped growing, even taking me out of work... That little **** didn't want to learn gardening with me before, it seems he's right."

The three got off the carriage, and the old gatekeeper who had heard the movement outside the door opened a gate.

Each held an umbrella and came to Annie the Elm. Old Henry looked strangely at the dirt pit that had been turned over, and raised his head to look at the dead tree that was five or six meters high.

   "Is it still alive?"

Lu left the mouth and narrated Anna's question.

"I don't know, maybe still alive or dead. You know, there are no plants to see now."

Old Henry observed the elm tree and said without looking back, "How do you want to bring it back?"

   "How to take it back?"

Old Henry looked back at Lu Li: "Break off the branches that won't affect them, and only keep the trunk and a part of the branches and send them to Belfast, so that you can bring them back in any truck."

The voice fell, and he suddenly felt the coolness seep into his clothes

"Besides that." Without needing to say anything from Anna, who was hiding in the void, Lu Li asked directly.

"Keep it as intact as possible and transport it to Belfast. I have a way, but it will be expensive... not right, it should be cheaper, after all, there is no business to do right now."

"At what time is it fine?"

"Anytime. Compared to this, do you have a specific location to put it?"

"not yet."

Lulli has not yet determined the location of the refuge point.

"First determine where to put it, the tree must be connected to the earth to live." Old Henry said a proverb, or the first half of the proverb.

  Lu Li nodded, that's all.

He tilted his head slightly, looking in the direction of the chill.

Mary seemed to feel something, and said to old Henry: "Let's leave, let them stay young for a while."

"They?" Old Henry murmured strangely, but he still followed Mary and walked away, the two figures with umbrellas walked away.

Anna's words rang in Lu Li's ears: "Are we going to wait a long time?"

"After we go back, we will go to the Elm Grove." Lu Li said.

   "Well... then go back."

After a brief exchange, Lu Li walked over to Mary and old Henry, and he told Mary to put an oil lamp under the elm tree after nightfall - although he was not sure if this behavior was useful.

"I'll take care of Anne for you." Mary nodded.

Go back outside the gate. Standing in front of the carriage, Lu Li thought about it and said to Old Henry, "You can go to the police station, where you may know about your son's situation."

Old Henry was stunned. When he wanted to ask something else, Lu Li was already in the carriage.

Mary was stunned, and Anna's farewell sounded quietly in her ears.

Under the gaze of two complicated eyes, the carriages that went away on the long street disappeared into the rain.
