1752 consider

In the Federation, a politician’s pedigree matters!

There are many federal people who believe that a politician does not need to have a prominent background. This idea is actually wrong from the beginning.

Indeed, it is true that many presidents in the history of the Federation were civilians.

But that's limited to the president.

In Congress, at the top of the three major parties, especially in the committees of the Progressive Party and the Conservative Party, are there really people from the bottom with no background?

Obviously impossible!

Why is it said that it is impossible for the House of Representatives to produce a president?

It is because only those who lack identity and background will be thrown into the House of Representatives. It is naturally impossible for these people to give birth to a president.

On the contrary, it is easy for the president to appear among the governors and senators, because these people are different from others from the moment they are born!

What is different is not their physical characteristics, but their identities, backgrounds, and families!

The "blood" Trueman talks about is the blood of his political life!

He comes from the military, and his relationship with the Progressive Party is very delicate. Some members of the Progressive Party even refuse to admit that Mr. President is a member of the Progressive Party!

In fact, Mr. Trueman himself knows this very well. He lacks a foundation within the Progressive Party.

His coming to power was actually a collaboration between the Progressive Party and the military. He was just a figure who was pushed out at the right time!

So now when something good happens, he thinks not of those in the Progressive Party but of Lynch.

At least Lynch can be considered one of his own. If Lynch's people can have greater influence and occupy more positions in Congress, it will actually be a good thing for him.

As long as Lynch does not fall, he can ensure that some of the regulations and policies he promulgated during his tenure can continue!

The two laughed for a while before Mr. Trueman continued, "Someone needs to bring it up first about the powers and responsibilities of Congress."

He looked at Lin Qi, who also realized the meaning behind this sentence.

This is obviously a choice that is very beneficial to Congress. Enterprises control this part of the money, but in order to supervise it, Congress will establish a new committee, and it will be a permanent one!

This involves not only the power and influence on enterprises, but also affects more ordinary people!

This is a great power, just like the Budget and Appropriations Committee. Once it is passed, it will inevitably become a new standing committee.

So whoever wins these rights for Congress will be a star for everyone in Congress. Mr. Trueman means to leave this job to Lynch and his people.

After Lynch thought for a while, he nodded, "I will let Langdon mention this matter, but before that, we still need to wait for a while..."

wait for what?

Of course, we are waiting for the second amendment proposal on the social security system reform bill. In this second amendment proposal, there will be a section on enterprises participating in the social security system reform.

Then there's still a hearing, but it's definitely not going to pass!

Because it lacks the role of Congress, this proposal will still be rejected, but!

But soon there will be a third amendment proposal, this time adding Congressional oversight powers, and then everyone will get what they want and everything will be perfect!

This is the federal "procedural justice". Everything you do must comply with the most basic principle.

1. Why do we do this.

2. What will happen if we don’t do this.

3. The necessity of doing so.

4. What will change if we do this?

In fact, this is not only true in politics, but also in judicial matters. It is true in everything. There must be a step-by-step process with clear causes, processes and results!

At many times the Federation appears to be very liberal, but at other times, it appears to be more rigid than old-fashioned.

Lynch agreed to Mr. Trueman's idea, and the matter could work.

After this conversation, Mr. Trueman brought up another matter.

"Do you know that the Socialist Party is establishing a party committee?"

Lynch shook his head and replied, "I'm not sure. Is there something they can't think of?"

His statement was so interesting that Mr. Trueman was stunned for a moment and then burst into laughter!

Because everyone knows how much trouble it is to establish a party committee. This is not a job that can be decided and operated by just sitting together with a few people.

It involves many aspects related to politics, interests, and society!

After laughing for a while, Mr. Trueman explained, "The leaders of the Socialist Party and I have talked about this issue before. They want to give full play to their own advantages and effects, and are no longer willing to just be a background board."

"And they're willing to stand by us in pushing for Social Security reform."

"I promised him that if nothing happens, the Socialist Party will announce this to the outside world soon, but I don't want them to..."

Mr. Trueman frowned. He was not sure whether his description was accurate, "...you know, sometimes weapons are in the hands of people who don't understand them, and it's no good for anyone!"

Sometimes people think politicians are a bunch of phony liars, but sometimes politics itself is like that.

From ancient times to the present, no one can achieve results that satisfy any group of people. The greatest people can only make some people the beneficiaries of the policy.

The world works in its own way, and from the perspective of the people at the bottom, a small number of beneficiaries occupy high positions.

But this is how the world works. Benefits for this small group of people can stabilize the entire society and at the same time improve and strengthen the lives of the people at the bottom.

From the current point of view, there are no problems with the federal planning and future design. People's living standards are constantly improving, from the minimum salary of 278 at the beginning to more than 400 now, an increase of more than 50%.

And it took less than ten years to complete all of this!

But if the Socialist Party occupies too much voice, they may disrupt the established rules of the game and disrupt future development trends in order to please the people.

Giving them a little sweetness, but overall still restricting the development of the Socialist Party, is what Mr. Trueman meant.

Lin Qi thought for a while and then roughly understood, "I will arrange it, but I can't do this alone."

He paused as he spoke, "The governor of York State came to Boupen two days ago."

Mr. Trueman nodded and said, "I know about it."

Mr. Trueman, as President of the Confederacy, could not have been unaware of such a major event as the governor leaving the place where he was in power and coming to Bupen.

The Security Committee and the security department would tell him about this, and the Governor of York State had no intention of hiding his itinerary. Mr. Trueman knew it when he entered the train car.

He then looked at Lynch with some confusion. What he actually meant was to let Lynch arrange for his people to enter the Socialist Party Committee through financial support and sponsorship.

But Lynch suddenly mentioned the governor, and he couldn't help but think about other places.

Lynch then said, "Maybe we can change to a more secure way and use the most common method to achieve the effect we want."

Empty!

Lynch believes that the leader of the Socialist Party may not be a mediocre person, but he is definitely not very good!

From Lynch's point of view, there were at least two opportunities for the Socialist Party to grow rapidly in this decade, but the Socialist Party missed them both!

The first time was the early days of the Great Depression, the economic depression, the financial recession, which were certainly not caused by problems of the working class.

But the working class is the group of people who have been hurt the most. If the Socialist Party stands up at this time, they will not be able to prevent the Great Depression.

But at least, the Socialist Party can gain support from more people in this process and gradually complete the organizational structure!

The second opportunity is the economic recovery in the past two years. During the entire economic recovery process, although most of the benefits were held by the capitalists.

But life for the working class has also gotten better.

The working class's understanding of the world is actually very narrow. It only extends to the area around them, and it doesn't even extend beyond the urban area where they live!

So far, nearly 90% of the people in the Federation cannot name the seventeen states of the Federation and their approximate locations on the federal map!

In such a closed environment, once the workers' unions and socialist parties are mobilized, they can have an extremely terrible influence on the bottom of society!

They don't care whether what they get is given by capitalists. They only know that it is the workers' union that gives them the opportunity to work!

Two very good opportunities were given up by the workers' union and the Socialist Party, so Lynch determined that the current group of people in the Socialist Party were not smart people.

Smart people cannot take one step and only see one step. They can take one step and see what will happen ten steps later.

So wouldn't it be better to let some people who can see a few more steps take control of the Socialist Party and sideline the current "elders"?

Lynch's words were highly enforceable, and Mr. Trueman was about to agree subconsciously, but just when he was about to nod, something inexplicable occurred in his heart, and he gave up the idea for the time being.

He suddenly realized that once Lynch penetrated too deeply into the Socialist Party, Lynch would be equivalent to controlling the third largest party after the Progressive Party and the Conservative Party!

If he is a person who has no ambitions, has a sense of identity with the current rules and regulations of the Federation and the ruling class, and is willing to abide by and maintain this set of rules.

Then Mr. Trueman would agree with his idea without hesitation.

But not Lynch!

He has ambitions and means, and what's even more frightening is that he seems to be abiding by various rules, but when he needs to break these rules, he will do it without hesitation!

He won't even think about whether it's appropriate for him to do this, and he will cross that line!

Who can control him when he has money, influence, a party and a voice in Congress?

"I will think about it again. Asking the governor to join the Socialist Party will cause a lot of public opinion..."

He replied to Lynch.
