Chapter 3078
Chirp-gulu, chirp-gulu, gurgling.
"We are entering the rear target galaxy. There is no obvious repulsion here. Maybe the gods have not existed here, or the gods here have not yet revived."
The vice-captain stood on the bridge and stared at the galaxy in front of him through the transparent material.
This is not the first time they have invaded other civilizations. When they invade other civilizations and enter the galaxies to which those civilizations belong, they will feel a very special repulsive force.
This repulsion comes from the confrontation between faith and galactic consciousness.
These two things will be ubiquitous in the galaxy and continue to interfere with outsiders.
They become like white blood cells, blocking the entry of foreign "cells" and possibly trying to kill those outsiders.
So at the front of the fleet, there is a super asteroid flying at super speed.
The fleet used and relied on the power of this super asteroid to forcibly insert into the solar system. At the extreme speed, even if there was repulsion here, it could not prevent them from entering.
Once they enter the solar system, it is difficult for those repulsive forces to cause any terrible harm to them.
They guessed that there should be faith, or planetary consciousness, or galaxy consciousness here.
Obviously, they guessed wrong.
The asteroid is still rushing towards the Earth star at a very high speed. It will not directly hit the Earth star. If it directly hits the Earth star, the chain reaction caused will cause them to suffer.
The surge of cosmic energy makes many things more terrifying. Perhaps such an impact will directly trigger the destruction of the solar system.
They came to conquer this civilization and sacrifice large numbers of creatures to their gods, not to explode themselves.
So asteroids will eventually leave them here, and then fly out of the solar system and fly into the depths of the universe.
They will stay here and turn Earth into a brand new colony.
The vice-captain dragged his long tentacles and set a clock, "There are still two years left, Captain."
“It wakes us all up in the last month, and now, we can get a little more sleep!”
The larger monster had a temperament that was inconsistent with its appearance. After nodding slightly, he walked towards its high-backed chair and slowly sat on it.
All the tentacles that were operated by it, or did not need to be operated by it, slowly slowed down their movements and finally fell silent.
There are less than a hundred monsters on duty in the entire fleet, and there are more than two million warriors resting and preparing for the next war.
They don't care whether the civilization here is peaceful or cruel. They came here under the guidance of God, and God's will is above all else!
As for whether this war will fail?
They have never considered it this way. There are indeed many powerful races in the universe, but the ones here are obviously not powerful.
They don't even have a galaxy defense circle, let alone the repulsion formed by divine power or star power. This is a typical backward civilization.
Being behind often means being weak.
The captain kept mating with several other identical monsters in his sweet dream. This was the most beautiful dream he could have.
"We only have twenty-two months, Mr. Lynch."
The deputy director made a phone call to Lynch in the middle of the night. "Before entering the solar system, the fleet carried an asteroid, rushed into the solar system at an incredible speed, and was flying rapidly towards our direction."
"It seems that they may have locked onto us when they were outside the solar system, and war is inevitable."
Lynch rubbed his face and sat up, "Thank you for the reminder. Continue to monitor them. I need the most detailed and accurate data and intelligence. You will have a little harder time during this period."
"After the war is over, I will give you a long vacation."
After hanging up the phone, Lynch sat for a while, put on his clothes, called the driver, and went to the core laboratory of artificial mental retardation.
Artificial retardation is just Lynch's joking name for this unintelligent artificial intelligence. It actually has a human name, called Aurora, codenamed Dawn.
In Lynch's eyes, its ultimate form will be like a super sun, shining on the entire universe without any blind spots.
Although now it just looks like a retard.
The access control level of the artificial intelligence laboratory is very high. Even Lynch's bodyguards are not authorized to enter this structure. Lynch comes alone every time.
The chief artificial intelligence scientist here is already waiting for him.
"I heard the bad news, what can I do for you and humanity now?" The chief scientist shook hands with Lynch while talking with a heavy face about the news he had just received.
Lynch did not keep it secret from these researchers, at least most of them knew about it.
Alien invaders have entered the solar system and will arrive on Earth in twenty-two months, where the first war between humans and aliens will break out.
This has put scientists under heavy pressure, because when humans were still unable to achieve ultra-high-speed space travel, these aliens who could already fly at low light speeds clearly surpassed humans in terms of technology!
This also makes these scientists somewhat pessimistic about the outcome of this war.
Of course, pessimism is pessimism, and there is still work to be done.
After Lynch shook hands with the chief scientist, the two walked toward the core laboratory together.
As he walked, he said, "We need its assistance in many things now. I told you about an idea I had before."
The chief scientist seemed to understand what Lynch meant, "You mean to use human thinking ability as a kind of... plug-in device to assist it in innovation and thinking?"
Lynch nodded, "We have many things that need to be solved now. We simply cannot rely on human strength alone. We can only place our hopes on it. And I think the feasibility of this idea is very high."
The chief scientist cannot but agree that this is indeed an amazing idea.
In the past, when they discussed how to give artificial intelligence the ability to think, they focused on the "chaos model."
By imitating the way of thinking of living things, a chaos model is established. The function of this chaos model is... a huge random number.
It relies on a huge behavioral information database to build a calculation model that no one is sure of, so that some solution ideas can be created "out of thin air".
However, this work is difficult to do, because a large number of experiments have been done so far, and the final result is a chaotic thinking model, which is not enough for artificial intelligence to produce reasonable and innovative solutions to problems.
Many of the results given by the model are bad, but this is already an improvement. At least it can create some solutions that are not in the library.
Many scientists believe this is an invention that can shock the world.
But compared to Lynch's idea of using a plug-in human brain as a solution to thinking expansion, it is...much worse.
The scientists have completed discussions but have not yet conducted specific experiments. They have arranged their schedule and will start experiments in about two weeks.
But it's obvious that Lynch can't wait that long. He must see the experiment and see the results now.
After the chief scientist arrived at the core laboratory, he began to contact some staff to prepare them to start working immediately.
The Academy of Life Sciences has become more and more thorough in its research on the brain. Now they can easily make a natural person's brain nerves proliferate in a short time and establish a brain-computer interface.
They selected ten people from more than 20,000 candidates who had been implanted with brain-computer interfaces and sent them here.
These ten people are all highly intelligent people. They have to do experiments for various reasons, and of course some of them do it voluntarily.
There are people who are willing to get in touch with new technologies and try them out. Although the number of these people is not even one thousandth in the entire group, they do exist.
One of the participants in the experiment who came here passively was reading a book and couldn't sleep.
The company's bankruptcy caused him to lose everything, and his family needed to make a living, so he tried hard.
Unfortunately, the bottom class of society did not accept his efforts so much, and his last two struggles ended in failure.
Coupled with the illness of his family, he had to call the number in the newspaper "recruiting high-IQ experimenters" and sold himself at a good price.
These years of life have made him accustomed to reading to relax in stressful situations.
What he was reading was Lynch's personal biography, which recorded in detail some important moments in his life.
There are many such stories, and every two or three stories will be written into a book. Currently, there are thirty-seven books in the entire set of "Legends", which record in detail all the highlight moments of Lynch.
This is also one of the books that many middle-class people will read. They hope to find something replicable or learn some experiences from it.
Just when he was looking a little fascinated, suddenly there was an obvious sound of the door lock being locked.
On his first day here, someone told him that the room's lock could not be locked manually, to ensure that scientists could see him anytime and anywhere.
But at this moment the door lock suddenly locked, which made him feel something was wrong.
He walked to the door and tugged hard, but it didn't move. He tried to beat the door to attract the attention of the staff outside.
But the door was covered with a thick layer of rubber. He banged it hard, but he could only make a weak and dull thumping sound.
The air outlet that spewed out cold air suddenly blew out a burst of smoke. By the time he noticed it, it was already too late. He slowly fell to the ground along the door.
This is true of the ten rooms used to provide rest for these people.
Three minutes later, the door opened, and several staff members wearing isolation suits walked in. They took off all of the man's clothes, then disinfected his entire body, and then put on special life-support equipment for him. Then threw it into a jar filled with blue liquid...
