Bored Gamer in Other Worlds

913 Chapter 913 Ale

"Young Master sounds wrong. Just call me Clark." Our bored gamer replied. Since this woman had helped him in the past then he could extend a huge leeway for her.

He was not someone who did not know how to return the favor that he was given. He inspected the mystical occurrence on his left hand until they disappeared from view entirely.

One did not become an immortal without dabbing in myriad fields of the dao. A breath later, he returned to being just an ordinary man with a rather unimpressive face.

"It's my pleasure to be your acquaintance, Clark. I am Shen Rong from the Majestic Cloud Palace." The woman smiled warmly.

She did not belittle someone that could endanger her life in a flash. Having such an enemy was not good in the long run at all.

"Majestic Cloud Palace, huh?" Our bored gamer repeated the influence name but it rang no bell in his mind whatsoever.

It did not need telling that this place might have been in the outer continents of this cultivation world.

Even the old immortal that Clark assimilated a lifetime's memory from could not determine what or where this Majestic Cloud Palace was.

"Hmmm... Do you have any food with you?" In the end, our good gamer could only divert everyone's attention to more important things.

Although he did not need to eat but he missed the act of eating after almost 4 years of being stranded and isolated from any other soul but him.

"Of course! Please follow me, Clark." Shen Rong invited openly. She acted as a great host towards this mysterious person that she had just met.

There was no flaw to doing such a thing but the benefits were instead truly many.

The caravan traveled one more day before it arrived to its destination which was Ocean Ale City.

This was a city that boasted its many products particularly one that was mixed with the pleasures of life.

"Hehehe. This a drunkard's little piece heaven on this earth!" Our bored gamer stated. Everywhere his eyes roamed, there were various stalls and stores that sold barrels of liquor.

And their names held much pride and attraction to what they offered.

A Thousand Years Wine

Tasty Virgin Brew

Hot and Cold Mix

.

..

...

These were only a few of the store names that was creatively displayed on the scene.

As a direct consequence, there was not a few sleeping men and women on the streets even at this early time of the day.

Clark looked around swiftly and it did not take him long to notice that this was nothing more but a mortal's city. No cultivators, immortals, or gods stood to visit this barren place.

"This place is indeed that, Clark." Shen Rong replied as she tried to hide the distaste on her face. They were just here to buy mortal wine from this place.

It would come as a surprise since this city was far from any cultivator's reach. Shen Rong wanted to surprise her father with something that he has not yet tasted ever.

She vowed that she would make his father happy in the clan's coming celebration. That was more than enough for her.

"..." Shen Rong nodded towards her old servant. The latter acknowledged this silent command and vanished into the crowd thereafter. Shao Jiang knew what was asked of him.

He would take every barrel of liquor he could find in this mortal city.

"Why don't we go and find an inn to rest, Clark?" Shen Rong asked tentatively. She hesitated in her words since she did not want to give false signals towards her new acquaintance.

She definitely did not want to have a lay of the bed with someone she just barely knew.

"That's a great idea, Miss Shen. Lead the way then." Clark accepted excitedly.

With how bereft this place was of world essence, it would take him a very long time to cultivate back to the peak. He did not want to see such a thing happen to him at all.

Instead, it was better to tag in with Shen Rong and company in order to better familiarize himself of where this god forsaken place was.

The two would serve as his willing compass and all he needed to do was follow them. Such a quest has never been more easy.

They spent a day and a half before completing the task that they had come for.

"We're going home on the morrow, Clark. Are you planning to stay in the city?" Shen Rong asked. Her motives were deeply hidden. She was indeed subtle in her act.

Unfortunately for her, our bored gamer had read her correctly from the get go.

"I don't think so. This place is fun and all but it does not provide much for a promising cultivator like me." Our bored gamer shook his head.

He was a bit direct in his approach but that mattered little as long as he get what he want in the end.

"Why don't you come with us, Clark? The Majestic Cloud Palace may not be much in the Silver Throne Continent but we would treat you fairly in the family. That i can assure you!"

Shen Rong invited honestly.

'FUCK ME! I'm in the Silver Throne Continent! What a shitty luck i have!' Our bored gamer could not help but curse inside.

This place was a dump house where even those dumb birds disdained to take a shit. He almost shook his head on the spot. In the end, he accepted this fate eventually.

It was not like he had a choice in the matter. He would need to have a sufficient cultivation base before he could jump between the myriad continents of the world.

And before that could happen, he needed to do much penance.

"!" Shao Jiang would have wanted to interfere but held himself in time.

Although he believed that it was a bad decision to invite someone with a questionable history into their house but he was just a mere slave after all.

It was beyond his station to ruin his master's plans.

"Take you for the offer, Miss Shen..." Clark paused before continuing.

"...it would be my honor to visit your Majestic Cloud Palace."
