Change the world from Hogwarts
Chapter Thirty-One: The Wizard's Talent
Connor knew that if he didn't want to be exposed, the only thing he could do was to find ways to let the professors know about the smelly rat through various methods.
Well, and Professor Quirrell.
Connor couldn't remember the general content, but if he remembered correctly, the contents of those seven books were probably related to the final boss named Voldemort.
In other words, the mouse and Quirrell were actually colleagues.
Now that they have met, it is really difficult for Connor to completely separate them, not to mention that Peter's originally imperfect transformation technique has been 'repaired'.
Phil had told him that at least before Peter rushed into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, he still had parts of human clothes, but when Quirrell returned him, he was already an extremely perfect mouse.
All of this indicates that there should be some kind of alliance between them.
However, for Connor now, the execution process and the preset treatment plan are completely different things.
Thinking of his old man and mother, Connor just pursed his lips.
To be honest, he didn't want to expose his specialness or his family background.
My family education and the ideas my adoptive mother instilled in me are all aimed at challenging the current order. No one can guarantee what the outcome will be.
But fortunately, the current situation should not be particularly urgent yet, at least Quirrell has returned the mouse.
Whether it is used as a potential trump card or Peter chooses to lurk, this is obviously a sign of maintaining the status quo.
So what should you do next?
Unable to think of anything at all, Connor couldn't help but cover his head.
And just when Connor felt that his thoughts seemed to have entered a bottleneck, there was a burst of noisy sounds from around him.
"I discovered that I was a wizard when the glass suddenly shattered at home."
"I secretly used my father's wand to punch through the ceiling at home."
"Ha, I have forgotten this kind of thing a long time ago. My father has been teaching me magic since I can remember!"
Various voices came and went, and Connor was in a daze for a moment.
And in the middle of the classroom, a short wizard who seemed to have elf blood was standing on the steps stacked with a pile of books.
It's Professor Flitwick, the Charms teacher.
Hufflepuff's afternoon class is Charms, which is taught together with Slytherin.
Looking around, the green snakes and the black and yellow badgers are clearly separated. The table in the center is even empty, and the gap is obvious.
They are having a heated discussion now and want to tell their own stories.
And this confused Connor.
No, haven’t classes officially started yet?
"What happened? What page is the textbook on now?"
He asked Ernie and Justin beside him in a low voice.
"Professor Flitwick was asking about the reason why we discovered that we were wizards. The formal class hasn't started yet. He said he wanted to chat with us first and get to know each other."
Ernie said.
"By the way, I discovered this after fighting a wild boar in my house head-on."
"What did you hit??"
"Wild boar, that wild boar came over to me. I was scared and it was knocked unconscious by me. There were many other wild boars following me."
Ernie didn't think there was anything wrong with this at all, but wiped his nose confidently.
"My wild boars are so close to me!"
Good guy...
How old are you to be so tough?
"When I was five years old, I accidentally twisted a spoon into a ball."
Justin echoed.
"I accidentally fell down the stairs and was unharmed..."
Another roommate whose presence has never been very high - Wayne Hopkins also spoke.
Then, they set their sights on Connor.
"And you?"
"I...actually I don't remember."
After thinking carefully for a moment, Connor couldn't help but shook his head, and a strange look appeared on his face.
It wasn't that he was perfunctory, he really couldn't remember the specific details.
"I only remember being taught how to use magic when I was very young. Maybe it's because my family knew I was a wizard when I was a baby..."
"Okay everyone."
Before Connor could say anything more, Professor Flitwick's thin and sharp voice sounded.
His voice was actually not loud, but with the blessing of the magic spell, it could clearly echo in the classroom, which was enough to quiet down most of the excited little wizards.
After seeing that his drink had taken effect, Flitwick nodded with satisfaction.
"I know that you are all proud of your status as wizards. After all, being able to use magic and use your own will to create miracles is a gift... but have you ever thought about what a wizard is? In other words, what is a wizard?
What’s so special about it?”
"Hey, isn't this simple? Aren't wizards just able to use magic spells?"
"No, no, no, my father said that wizards are the most noble beings in the world, and we are the darlings of the world, completely different from those stupid Muggles."
"Isn't he a person with magical powers?"
The voices of the little wizards were heard one after another, mixed with many immature personal opinions, but most of them came from family ideas.
But before such a discussion could sweep through the entire classroom as before, Flitwick stopped the situation.
He just waved his wand and pointed it at a certain student, and a ray of light shone down from the student's head, highlighting his presence.
"Mr. Finlay."
"Um?"
After being called on by the professor, he subconsciously wanted to get up, but Professor Flitwick stretched out his hand to stop him.
"Just sit in your seat, Mr. Finch-Fletchley. You come from a Muggle family, don't you?"
"um, yes."
"Then tell me what you think of 'wizards'. In your opinion, what are the characteristics of wizards?"
In order to avoid unnecessary pressure, Professor Flitwick added a few words.
"Don't worry, I won't deduct points for this. It's just a simple question and there is no standard answer."
After receiving such a guarantee, Justin obviously felt a lot more relaxed.
His look of relief even made Connor a little bit suspicious - could Snape have caused some psychological shadow in him?
With this question, Connor looked a little strange.
But Justin was having a hard time. After coming back to his senses, he found that he was a little at a loss for words.
"Uh... the biggest characteristic of a wizard is probably his magic power, right? He can do many magical things by chanting spells and so on."
"Oh...thank you for your opinion, Mr. Finch-Fletchley."
Without commenting on anything, Professor Flitwick quickly turned his attention to the other students.
"Mr. Malfoy, what do you think?"
"My father told me that wizards are noble beings different from Muggles."
"Okay, Miss Bones, what do you think?"
"Miss Abbott?"
"Mr. Nott?"
Flitwick asked many people questions one after another, but he did not give a standard answer that should exist.
As for the students' answers, they were also very strange.
For example, children like Justin who enter the wizarding world for the first time will always be involved in magic, while children from wizarding families are mostly focused on characteristics such as curses. In Slytherin's case, blood and status are even involved.
In Connor's opinion, this simply creates a divide between ordinary people and wizards.
And finally, Connor found that the light shone on him.
"Okay, Mr. McMahon."
"Um?"
"In your opinion, what is special about wizards?"
