#1014 - The reflective man

Makal vanished in an instant. Then, more than ten seconds later, a waterspout appeared on the distant sea.

Seeing the pitiful fellow turned into a 'baseball,' Lil smiled slightly. One fly had finally been swatted away. Although not mortally wounded, this lesson would be enough to keep him in bed for months, and he would develop a psychological shadow whenever he encountered a pretty girl in the future.

However, as one fly flew away, a second one arrived.

A burly shadow appeared on the beach beside her, its outline menacing.

Lil didn't turn her head, casually asking as she continued to rub on sunscreen, "Is this how you approach women?"

"Women are merely tools for venting and reproduction," a hoarse voice came from behind. It was a man clad in black armor, his face completely covered by a mask, making his expression unreadable. However, the red light flashing in the eye sockets told everyone how dangerous he was.

"Woman!" he said to Lil, his tone filled with disdain. "I don't care which Sage arranged for your appearance, but you better understand your place. Lord Saros is a genius of our race, not someone a lowly creature like you can approach. Since you've been fortunate enough to receive this opportunity, you should know how to be modest."

"From now on, you are Lord Saros's private property. If you continue to be indiscreet, not only will you be in trouble, but everyone who interacts with you, everyone close to you, will encounter trouble."

Having said that, the burly man snorted slightly, and a powerful psychic wave swept out like a storm, instantly creating waves several meters high on the surrounding sea. The tide surged onto the beach, almost swallowing Lil.

This was a demonstration, he wanted to use power to make Lil understand what reverence was.

In truth, the burly man had never had any good feelings towards Lil, a life form from a low-level world. The Sarosa race's tolerance for outsiders was limited to the recruitment department, but he was a combat personnel. He was born with a sense of superiority. Moreover, he was a subordinate of Lord Saros, and his privileges were enough for him to run rampant within the clan. Let alone a small, low-level life, wouldn't he be just as domineering even if he encountered members of the Sarosa race?

A life from a low-level world, and a worthless woman at that, could be crushed with a finger.

However, he would never understand that the seemingly ordinary woman in front of him was a hidden Tyrannosaurus Rex. Beneath that fair and smooth skin were strong殖肌腱 that even cosmic star beasts couldn't compare to, the power to destroy stars.

Therefore, Lil didn't react to his words at all, not even bothering to turn her head to look at him. She simply asked casually.

"Who are you? Coming to interfere with my affairs?"

"Humph," a flash of anger crossed the burly man's eyes, and he suppressed his displeasure. Although Lil's identity was nothing to him, she was, after all, a person appointed by the Sage, and he couldn't be completely unruly.

"My name is Saboyar. I am a guard of my lord, Saros. You better remember this name, because if you continue to be presumptuous, then this name will be your nightmare and your end."

Saying that, Saboyar didn't bother to say another word to this foolish woman and turned to leave.

But at the moment he turned around, he noticed that an equally burly man had appeared on the nearby embankment, shirtless and covered in scars, wearing only a pair of shorts and holding a surfboard in his hand. The surfboard shimmered with a silver-white light in the sunlight, obviously made of alloy. The man's gaze was equally oppressive, and he was grinning at him, revealing a mouthful of white teeth.

For some reason, Saboyar found the man's smile very dazzling, so he raised his head, preparing to give the man a lesson.

Planetary-level psychic power brewed between his eyebrows, like a storm pellet compressed countless times being released in an instant. Once it hit, even the entire embankment would be torn apart. This would definitely be a major accident for the peaceful Ninth Beach, but Saboyar didn't care.

Anyway, he was a combat personnel, only responsible for combat. The cleanup work would naturally be handled by other departments.

But at the same time, he suddenly saw the man also put down his surfboard and throw a punch at him. The scarred arm bulged like an explosion, actually colliding with his storm pellet with one punch. The tangible fist and the intangible psychic pellet collided violently, emitting a thunderous roar. Then the man staggered back as if he were drunk, but the psychic pellet shot back even faster!

What!?

Saboyar's pupils shrank sharply, and he hastily took a step back, but the storm pellet slammed into his forehead. With a muffled bang, his mask shattered and shot out, his face covered in blood!

But this was only the surface. What truly caused Saboyar pain was his sea of consciousness. After the storm pellet was reflected back, it stirred frantically in his sea of consciousness, causing him so much pain that he almost cried out. That was all his power, but now it was all acting on himself, and it was amplified by at least twice as much! Even if Saboyar's sea of consciousness was solid, it couldn't withstand such devastation. He staggered back several steps in a row, his mind as muddled as if he had been hit by a heavy hammer.

This was only because the storm pellet belonged to him. If his sea of consciousness was stirred up in this way by other strong individuals, he would probably lose consciousness even if he didn't die, and it would definitely take several months to recover.

But compared to this pain, Saboyar was more concerned about the shirtless man.

Who is he!?

What possesses such strange power, even reflecting psychic power!? Tangible matter reflecting intangible power! Damn it, has the universe's rules become disordered? How could such an incredible phenomenon occur?

Saboyar's heart was filled with stormy waves, but his years of combat experience drove him to make the most rational response. His burly body sprang up like a cannonball, and he slammed a punch at the man.

This action was his combat instinct, and he only realized something was wrong when it was completed. This was Wingler, a peaceful area, wouldn't his full-force strike pierce through the entire Void City? The privileges of combat personnel were not unlimited. If he destroyed things at will, even his master Saros would be blamed!

In a flash of lightning, Saboyar felt a wave of regret, but it was too late. All of his power was already concentrated in this punch, and he couldn't take it back even if he wanted to, so he could only watch helplessly as his fist fell, slamming down towards the man and the ground beneath him.

But at the same time, the man raised his head again, grinned, and revealed a mouthful of white teeth.

Then he bent slightly, and his right hand moved from down to up, drawing a huge arc and slamming upwards.

The next moment, Saboyar felt a terrifying force coming, and he actually rolled and flew into the sky…

The armor outside his body shattered with a bang, and only then did Saboyar realize something.

Isn't this his own punching power? (To be continued…)
