Colonial Suit

#1115 - The benefits of not taking a shower

The vast void, distorted ribbons of light…

A fleet was ‘staggering’ forward. It was said to be ‘staggering’ because almost none of the warships in this fleet were intact. Each warship had suffered damage to varying degrees, and most of the damage was concentrated on the rear thrusters. As a result, their speed was pitifully low, a fatal weakness for ships navigating the fourth level of Naraka.

They were, of course, abandoned.

Although just a few days ago, they were still members of the Boca fleet, no one complained. Because everyone knew that in the fourth level of Naraka, there was no place to set up a rest stop, which meant no one could repair the damage that required a dry dock to fix. Having lost their speed, what else could they do?

Inside the massive immigrant ship, a strong man with two heads and six arms was gulping down wine. His burly body was three meters tall, and the wine bottles at his feet could be stacked into a small mountain.

His name was Kunk, the captain of the Kunt race. He was the boss on this immigrant ship.

The Kunt race was a race with a strong physique and a love for brute force. They also worshipped everything ‘big’: big clubs, big chunks of meat, big-breasted women, and big spaceships. Because of this, the spaceships they built had the highest carrying capacity in the universe. A single immigrant ship could hold the creatures of half a star field. This was a source of pride in the past, but now it had become Kunk's burden.

He didn't know how long his immigrant ship could fly in Naraka after losing its speed, or whether it could keep up with the fleet.

If he couldn't keep up, whether he… no no no, whether the hundreds of billions of lives on this ship could survive.

“Really…”

“Shit.”

The more Kunk thought about it, the more his head hurt. He wasn't good at thinking. He felt as if his brain, which was only the size of his fingernail, was about to turn into mush. So he decided to drink. Drink a lot of wine. Anyway, when he was drunk, he wouldn't have any worries. As for who could survive, who cared?

The dilapidated fleet still drifted slowly in the void, seemingly without end.

For the Boca fleet, this was a group of abandoned people, but for certain existences in the void at this moment, it was the most delicious prey.

In the cabin, Kunk was a little drunk. His vision began to blur, and his body began to sway. But he couldn't sit down because, due to having six arms, the Kunt race didn't like to lie down or sit. They slept standing up, and only fell when they died. So Kunk leaned against the wall and decided to take a ‘lunch break’ to catch up on some sleep.

Just as he was about to close his eyes, he suddenly felt some small black dots appearing in front of him. At first, he thought it was a hallucination from drinking too much, but when he rubbed his four eyes and looked again, he jumped up and let out a scream as if his chrysanthemum had been pierced.

“Ext… Extreme Fiends!!”

Yes, what Kunk saw were Extreme Fiends, a group of tiny, sharp cones that moved at high speed in the void like a storm. The reason he could see them and hadn't been killed immediately was that the Extreme Fiends weren't attacking him, but a figure also moving at high speed.

That figure was like lightning, no, faster than lightning. It often appeared in one place and disappeared in an instant, reappearing hundreds of kilometers away. Its speed completely defied common sense, even reaching the point of being magical. The Extreme Fiends were the same, but because there were so many of them and they were so small, they looked like a swarm of ‘mosquitoes’ flying in the void, constantly attacking that figure.

Because the speed was too fast, Kunk couldn't see their movements clearly, he could only see one temporary image after another. It was like a slideshow.

But this was amazing enough. Kunk had never imagined that in the fourth level of Naraka, there would be someone who could fight the Extreme Fiends? That wasn't some kind of space warrior, that was the Extreme Fiends, terrifying, any one of them could penetrate a warship, yet they were endless!

Kunk had personally witnessed the terrifying power of the Extreme Fiends, so he couldn't imagine how this figure had done it.

In the void, the figure had obviously been fighting for some time. The ‘space cracks’ shattered by him were everywhere. He moved at high speed, like a black line that was constantly bending and refracting, frantically tearing apart one Extreme Fiend after another, while also dodging the Extreme Fiends' piercing attacks. His movements were so fast that even if Kunk used all his instruments, he could only see one still frame after another. In the frames, there was a black shadow that was almost stretched into a line.

“What… is that guy?”

Kunk opened his mouth wide, feeling that he had never been so surprised in his life. He wanted to see the other person's appearance clearly, but he knew that if he sent himself forward like this, not to mention the Extreme Fiends, even the scrapes from that black shadow would be enough to tear apart this dilapidated fleet.

Compared to the terrifying strength of space warriors, warships were really just children's toys.

So he could only watch, staring blankly…

Watching the black shadow constantly refract, constantly plunder, watching the number of Extreme Fiends gradually decrease, becoming sparse. Finally, whether the figure was bored, or the power of the Extreme Fiends had been exhausted, the black shadow suddenly stopped and raised its right hand. The void was highly distorted, and an extremely terrifying gravitational field spread from his hand, pulling all the Extreme Fiends towards it.

Kunk personally saw those tiny Extreme Fiends shatter in the pull, and personally heard the cries of the Extreme Fiends, like weeping. He swore that he would never forget this scene in his life.

This terrifying man, who could even play with the Extreme Fiends in the palm of his hand.

Yes, as the figure stopped, Kunk was finally able to see his appearance clearly. It was a human, at least, a guy with some human features. One half of his body retained its human form, while the other half was like a demon. Black scales were densely packed like armor, and his right hand was completely a sharp claw. He was using this claw to absorb the void, pulling all the Extreme Fiends, tearing them apart, and finally condensing them into a black sphere.

In Kunk's eyes, he grabbed all the Extreme Fiends like this, and threw them into his mouth. The terrifying Extreme Fiends, which even the Boca fleet had to avoid, seemed to have become his most delicious food.

After eating these Extreme Fiends, he seemed to notice the pitiful fleet next to him. He glanced over here…

“No… don't come over… I… I haven't taken a bath.” Kunk shouted with all his might, hesitating for a long time before finding a reason not to be eaten by the other party. He knew that the other party couldn't hear his voice, but that kind of terror tightly grasped his heart, as if he would be torn apart in the next moment. The Kunt Giant God testified that Kunk had never been so afraid of anything.

But… he didn't wait for the ensuing destruction… but what he waited for was just a faint evaluation.

“Looks like… not tasty…”

The figure blurred and disappeared into the void. Kunk slipped softly to the ground, feeling that he had lost all his strength…

“I swear, for the rest of my life, I will never take a bath…”
