Colonial Suit

#160 - Past conquests

On the other side, Robbie and the others were sitting quietly in a sheltered mountain hollow, waiting with some impatience.

It had been a full two hours since Blood瞳 went out to scout, but there was still no sign of his return. Robbie had even tried to contact Blood瞳 several times, but without exception, there was no response. This made Robbie a little worried. On this strange planet, many technological means had lost their effectiveness.

“Aiya… I’m so bored. When will Blood瞳-gege be back?” Little Bo Xi yawned boredly in the inner part of the hollow, watching Pandora brew coffee.

In this cold place, a cup of steaming coffee was undoubtedly the best way to drive away the cold, especially with a little milk and sugar.

Little Bo Xi greedily took the cup of coffee that Pandora poured out and took a big gulp first, then exhaled a satisfied breath.

Beside him, his older sister, Miya, was also holding a cup. However, unlike her younger brother’s thirsty appearance, she looked very quiet and refined.

She first took a light sip, then smiled at Bo Xi. “Oh, my dear brother, you are too impatient. Isn’t it nice here? Sunshine, white snow… Except for the low temperature, we can treat this as a picnic.”

“Sister, you’re saying mature things again.” Bo Xi covered his forehead with a headache. “My dear sister, I don’t believe you’re not worried. Blood瞳-gege has been gone for more than two hours. Aren’t you worried that he’s in danger?”

“Actually…” Miya replied with a smile. “Blood瞳-gege is more trustworthy than you.”

“\u0026……\u0026*%……” Bo Xi muttered dissatisfiedly, but in an instant, his voice disappeared. He stared blankly into the distance.

Miya followed his gaze and immediately saw two figures.

Blood瞳… and a tall man.

“You’re finally back.” Robbie said to Blood瞳 with a smile. In fact, he was the first to spot Blood瞳. “If you hadn’t come back, I was going to go out and look for you.”

“Fortunately, you didn’t do that.” Blood瞳 replied casually, already having deactivated his colony armor. “In that direction… there are at least several thousand mutated beasts.”

“Oh, my God.” Robbie gasped, his face changed immediately.

After the series of battles before, he was too clear about what several thousand mutated beasts represented. It could be said that if they really encountered so many mutated beasts, probably only Blood瞳 could escape. No one else, including Robbie, would be able to get away.

Although their strength could already suppress these terrifying creatures, it didn’t mean they could ignore the numbers. Thousands of mutated beasts that had reached the vassal level of strength were enough to make Robbie’s scalp tingle just thinking about it.

But these things could be discussed later. Robbie first focused his gaze on the man behind Blood瞳. This man was very tall, probably a head taller than Blood瞳, and his whole body was wrapped in a piece of ragged cloth. Even in such cold temperatures, he didn’t show the slightest abnormality. Seeming to notice Robbie’s gaze, he respectfully saluted.

“Who is he?” Robbie nodded in acknowledgment and then asked Blood瞳.

“He…” Blood瞳 gave a wry smile and rubbed his nose. “Consider him my new servant.”

“Consider him?” Robbie opened his eyes wide, really not understanding what Blood瞳 meant.

“…………” Blood瞳 didn’t answer him, but recalled the scene just now.

Beside that shattered modulation nest, he dripped his blood onto the War Servant, but the result greatly disappointed the other party. Judging from the genes in the blood, he was not the War Servant’s master.

This made Blood瞳 breathe a sigh of relief. Otherwise, he really wouldn’t have dared to believe his past. The overlap of reality and dreams made his spirit tense, while also producing a sense of confusion.

However, although the blood denied Blood瞳’s status as master, the War Servant still insisted on his own opinion. According to him, the Overlord’s Eye was the eternal proof of the master. In the entire universe, only the master would have such pupils. So regardless of whether Blood瞳 admitted it or not, he would follow Blood瞳’s side.

This made Blood瞳 very surprised, but it also suited his wishes. Anyway, he had originally planned to take the other party for his own use. It was naturally best if the other party proposed it on his own initiative.

In the subsequent understanding, he learned that the War Servant’s name was Light, a five-star War Servant, but because of serious injuries and a long sleep, his strength had declined significantly. Moreover, his memory bank had suffered some damage, and he couldn’t remember many things, including the name of his former master, which Blood瞳 was most concerned about. (Who knew why a War Servant with amnesia would insist that Blood瞳 was his master? Wasn’t this nonsense?)

But in any case, the addition of a five-star War Servant doubled Blood瞳’s strength out of thin air. It should be known that War Servants were symbiotic weapons specially developed for colony armor by Clodier, not just casually said. Although he looked like a human, he was actually a weapon, a thorough and thorough bio-weapon modulated for killing.

Five-star War Servants, in the Clodier combat nation, were also known as… Giant Kings.

The cold wind howled past, stirring up layers of ice chips. The snowflakes in the sky were even denser. Looking into the distance, one could only see a vast expanse of white.

Everyone began to get busy, and after some preparation, they once again embarked on their journey. But this time, they seemed much more relaxed.

All because of Light’s addition.

In Blood瞳’s words, Light could help everyone get rid of those thousands of mutated beasts. But in reality, Light did much more than that.

Because in a sense, all the mutated beasts in this valley could be considered his ‘soldiers.’

During the time he was asleep, he connected himself to a broad-range elemental modulation device. This action allowed him to draw energy from the modulated mutated beasts, which not only accelerated the speed of healing, but more importantly, could implant a sub-consciousness of the Giant King into all the mutated beasts, causing them to unconsciously become Light’s subordinates.

This was the instinct of the Giant King. It was also the basis for them being called War Servants.

In the Clodier combat system, Conquerors were the absolute military force. But under the Conqueror could contain an unlimited number of combat individuals. As long as the Conqueror could support them, he could recruit as many as he wanted. After all, his meaning lay in conquest, and relying on one person could not be done no matter what.

Simply put, Conquerors were high-end military force, specializing in solving the enemy’s strongmen. And War Servants and other subordinates were responsible for conquest and occupation. When they completely controlled a planet, this planet became a commodity and could be resold to other forces. In the past chaotic period, the Clodier combat nation rapidly grew its strength through this model, and spread like a plague.

Of course, these things had little to do with Blood瞳 now. Their top priority was to pass through this valley known as the Shattered Bone Land.

With Light, this matter became as simple as a picnic. And in fact, Light really turned it into a picnic later.

Perhaps seeing that everyone was having some trouble walking, he actually summoned several giant mutated mammoths to act as everyone’s mounts. Seeing these former enemies obediently kneeling in front of them, everyone except Blood瞳 exclaimed in surprise.

Especially Bo Xi and Miya. They were still children, so of course they were interested in this kind of ‘big toy.’ Before, they had only had to kill them because of the battle. But now they would actually listen obediently, and the two little ones immediately became excited. They actually rolled happily on the mammoths’ backs, and even buried themselves in the mammoths’ soft fur.

The mutated mammoths were at least five meters tall. Their backs were wide and flat. Sitting on them was very comfortable. With these guys as mounts, the rest of the journey became pleasant.

Robbie quietly lay in the mammoths’ soft fur and smiled at Blood瞳. “I never thought this adventure would have such a journey. But Blood瞳, aren’t you going to explain something to me?”

The clever Robbie had obviously seen Light’s uniqueness.

But Blood瞳 just smiled faintly and shook his head. “I said, this is a secret.”

“Okay. Looks like you really have a lot of secrets.” Robbie shrugged helplessly, giving up on asking.

Although he was still very curious about Light, he knew that some secrets were best not to inquire about, otherwise even the best friendships might fade. Robbie was a smart man, and he knew how to control his curiosity.

The next journey passed for another five days. They finally passed through this valley and came to a strange plain. On one side of the plain, a continuous mountain range appeared in everyone’s eyes. Blood瞳 looked at the signal on his intelligent computer and confirmed that Lie Ya was somewhere in that mountain range.

“This place…” Blood瞳 pointed to the map on the intelligent computer and said to Light. “What’s there?”

“There is a valley there, and a local tribe.” Light knew what Blood瞳 was pointing at with just one glance. Although he had been asleep for who knows how many years, the mutated beasts he controlled had already covered a vast area. In this area, he could monitor almost everything.

“A tribe?” Blood瞳 frowned, not expecting Lie Ya to land in such a place. “Is it dangerous?”

“No.” Light replied simply. “In fact, in a sense, they are your people.”

“What do you mean?” Blood瞳’s heart skipped a beat.

“Don’t you know?” Light said calmly. “This planet was originally a gathering place for our Clodier warriors. Here, the Conqueror is the supreme ruler. Everyone sees you as a god.”

“No way?” Even though Blood瞳 had been somewhat mentally prepared, he couldn’t help but be startled.

All living things see themselves as gods? This… this is too exaggerated…

Was this how Clodier controlled this planet in the past?

“This is a necessary means.” Light was used to it. As a War Servant, he was more familiar with the process of controlling a planet than a Conqueror. And this planet was so special.

“Because… it was conquered by you personally.” (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to come to (.) to vote for recommendation, your support is my biggest motivation.)
