Colonial Suit
#832 - I am the starting point
Distorted, blurred...
The entire world seemed to change because of the library's transformation. The Speaker's expression became even more solemn as he slightly extended his hand to stabilize the city's structure.
His movements were very careful, as if afraid to disturb the Blood Pupil.
This was inevitable because the evolution to the Stellar level allowed for no interference. The Blood Pupil's breakthrough was clearly ill-timed. If he and the man in the ornate robe hadn't been present, the ripple effects of this evolution alone would have been more than the Blood Pupil could handle.
However, the man in the ornate robe had also said that this was certainly not the Blood Pupil's active choice, but a forced outcome.
At this point, the Speaker no longer had the energy to investigate the cause. He only wanted to protect the Second Divine Seat, and the best outcome would be to protect the Blood Pupil.
This was difficult. The Speaker wasn't confident.
The structure of space began to change. Silently, a large number of spatial particles appeared around the library, combining and twisting frantically. The original library had completely disappeared, replaced by a swirling mass of black mist. The Speaker didn't know what this meant, but he keenly sensed that this was likely the Blood Pupil's critical moment.
So, he didn't hesitate to dismiss the surrounding mercenaries, personally taking on the role of protector.
"It seems you value him highly?" The man in the ornate robe said with his hands behind his back, still calm and collected.
"Every mercenary capable of secondary cognition is worth my attention," the Speaker replied, without looking up at the man in the ornate robe. "Don't act like it's none of your business. I understand your feelings better than anyone. If you still don't recognize his importance, I only need to tell you one thing."
"He changed his fate the first time in the Alpha Maze and recovered in just one month."
"Really?" The man in the ornate robe's eyes lit up as he asked in surprise.
"I won't lie to you," the Speaker replied. "So, show your skills. I don't want him to die."
"Hehe," the man in the ornate robe chuckled, confidently saying, "As long as his performance matches your description, then I assure you, even if the entire universe wants him dead, it will be a very difficult thing."
As he spoke, he raised his hand again and suddenly took a deep breath.
A super-huge shield then appeared around the Second Divine Seat, blocking all the overflowing vortexes of both positive and negative space outside the shield. At the same time, two distinct trajectories appeared above and below the library, respectively guiding matter from positive and negative space into it.
The man in the ornate robe retracted his fingers and said with a smile, "I look forward to his evolution and guarantee that even if his worldview collapses, I will never let him die."
"With your guarantee, I'm naturally relieved," the Speaker sighed in relief, his expression much better.
However, he didn't know what the Blood Pupil was experiencing at this moment.
In fact, the Blood Pupil felt something was wrong from the beginning, and when the abnormality appeared above the library and he fell into the spiritual world, he realized what was happening immediately. As a warrior filled with beastly instincts, the Blood Pupil knew how to avoid risks better than anyone, and also knew how to choose the right moment better than anyone.
Evolving to the Stellar level was something he had decided long ago. But plans couldn't keep up with changes. The moment the abnormality occurred, the Blood Pupil realized that this was his best opportunity.
So, he unreservedly invested everything.
Inside his brain, explosions erupted one after another, and celestial bodies went from birth to destruction. Endless civilizations and lives began and ended, spaces crushed, merged, and separated from each other. All of this happened in an instant. To the outside world, it might have been just a second or a few minutes, but to the Blood Pupil, it felt like a century, an era, a cosmic epoch.
His 'body' was shattered, becoming a part of this evolution.
His spirit was shattered, becoming a part of this world.
Even his consciousness was shattered, becoming the new world!!
In this self-evolution, self-growth, self-creation, and self-destruction within his brain, the Blood Pupil killed himself and the entire world time and time again. He didn't know what was right, nor did he know what the end was. He was just perfecting his understanding and his ideals in repeated births and destructions.
Until a complete, self-circulating universe appeared.
A new world!!
A world belonging to the Blood Pupil alone, a unique world system.
Without a doubt, for most cosmic warriors, including Stellar-level powerhouses undergoing evolution, this was cognition! This was the prototype of a private world. In time, as they filled this world with more insights and desires, they could extract power from this world and even influence reality.
But for the Blood Pupil, this world was merely a...
Because he was no ordinary person, nor was he a cosmic warrior in the ordinary sense.
He wouldn't understand the rules any more than other cosmic warriors, but he was full of doubts and confusion about the overall framework of the universe.
The new world was perfect, capable of self-circulation on any level, and if placed in reality, it would be the origin of a universe. But the problem was that this perfection was based on what the Blood Pupil was already familiar with. Familiar rules, familiar space, a familiar universe, and even a familiar future.
To put it bluntly, this was a repetitive process. Even if the Blood Pupil constructed it perfectly, it wouldn't be any different from the systems that other Stellar-level powerhouses and even cosmic warriors had been circulating for tens of thousands of years.
The predecessors had already failed. Was he, too, going to repeat their path?
The Blood Pupil was once again lost and doubtful. Then, he killed himself again, killing the universe he had created less than a few minutes ago.
Then, he introduced the architecture of multiple universes, the power of fate, and the fourth layer of anti-space, which no one has been able to explore to this day, which is... the Abyss!
This was a process of no return. In fact, with the Blood Pupil's current understanding, he couldn't support such an architecture at all. Not to mention him, even the Speaker, or even the man in the ornate robe, could never support such an architecture. The only reason was that the Blood Pupil's creation had surpassed his level and the scope of this universe!
This was a world that didn't belong to the human world, a world that didn't belong to the universe.
What the Blood Pupil relied on was himself! Aside from his body, spirit, psionic power, everything, his true body.
Diabolos!
Lord of the Abyss!!
No one knew why the Blood Pupil would make such a decision, but the Blood Pupil himself knew that when he made this choice, he only thought of one sentence. It was the sigh specially mentioned in the last book he read that described multiple universes.
"The upper universe determines the future, and the lower universe determines birth and death."
The Blood Pupil didn't understand what the upper level was, but when he read this sentence, he suddenly felt a sense of cognition. That was that the so-called lower universe was actually himself.
Or rather, what he represented.
