Colonial Suit
#888 - Throughout!
“Void Bomb?”
Hearing this name, Blood瞳 really wanted to curse.
Was this something to be taken out and played with?
Except for the absence of pollution and the lack of troublesome radiation, this thing was just like the nuclear bombs of humanity's ancient times, a great weapon that disregarded friend and foe alike. What was even more chilling was that its range of impact was far more terrifying than a nuclear bomb, not a diameter of hundreds or thousands of kilometers, but several light-years, even involving an entire star system.
This thing was the concrete embodiment of 'you and I will both die, but you'll die before me.'
Because what it destroyed wasn't a specific object or planet, but the rules! It destroyed the sub-rules!
To put it in simpler terms, it destroyed the very foundation upon which everything relied. If it were to explode, carbon-based life would need to breathe, right? The oxygen would be gone. Silicon-based life would need energy exchange, right? The energy flow would stop. Energy life would need stable rules, right? The rules would disappear! No matter what civilization or race you were, as long as you were within the range of this thing, you would die! No discussion, no room for negotiation!
Unless you could escape the virtualization of the Second World and return to the material civilization realm of the Third World, you might be able to avoid this disaster.
But was that possible?
How much had humanity sacrificed to enter the Second World? To ask humanity to give up all of this was better than killing the Chairman, including those old guys in the council!
So, hearing this news, Blood瞳 really wanted to curse, really wanted to kill.
This mission had mobilized many powerful individuals, many leaders. But why did the most difficult thing fall on his head? The annihilation of rules, such a great disaster, made Blood瞳 want to kill everyone from Saichester.
Admittedly, the so-called annihilation of rules was only of sub-rules, and the duration wouldn't exceed two days. The underlying rules of the Second World would be rearranged and replace the sub-rules as the master of everything. But still, it would take two days, right? In those two days, humanity's nearly ten thousand troops would all die! Even planetary-level individuals would probably find it hard to escape!
Damn it!!!
Blood瞳 was filled with anger, feeling a surge of rage in his heart, wishing he could rush forward and kill everyone from Saichester!
But he couldn't do it!
No one could do that, even if a stronger陛下were here. He couldn't arbitrarily destroy a civilization. Because that would mean declaring war on the entire Second World, and no one could bear that responsibility.
“Your Highness, what should we do?” Billock asked respectfully behind Blood瞳. That was his good point, even though he already possessed planetary-level strength, he would be incomparably respectful in front of those he admired. He didn't mind lowering his noble head at all.
Obeying the strong and surpassing the strong was his life motto.
Blood瞳 admired him. Precisely because he understood better than others how to survive.
“We can't attack head-on,” Brute said behind Blood瞳. “We can't withstand the power of the Void Bomb. No one can withstand it.”
That was the truth. If the Void Bomb was allowed to explode, then this battle could only end without success.
However, Blood瞳 didn't think that way.
The power of the Void Bomb was clear to everyone without him having to say it, but the problem was that Blood瞳 was different from others. As the owner of the Abyss power, he possessed the ability to annihilate the Void Bomb.
This was his trump card. Something that ordinary people couldn't understand.
But the problem was, for such a battle, was it necessary for him to show this trump card to the world?
The roar in his ears continued, and explosions lit up around Blood瞳 one after another, making his face flicker with light and shadow. Everyone's eyes were focused on him, and his every word and action could determine the course of this war.
“If it's not possible, shall we bypass it?” Brute suggested. But without anyone saying it, everyone knew that bypassing it was just wishful thinking. Saichester's Void Collective was not a joke. Bypassing one fortress meant that the resistance to attacking the core would increase by one point. And such a strong resistance, even planetary-level individuals probably couldn't withstand it much more.
Blood瞳 considered for a long time, but when he heard the roars and screams coming from the public channel, he shook his head.
“Everyone has obligations to bear, I think I understand why the Chairman called me here.”
He answered Brute like this, and then ordered Billock.
“Kill them all, leave none alive!”
If obligation was a companion of rights, then Blood瞳 didn't mind bearing more of it. What's more, even though he was the heir of Krodir, the master of the Abyss, his body was, without a doubt, human.
No one could enjoy everything without burden. As a cosmic warrior, he had to be responsible for everything he undertook.
Blood瞳 firmly carried out this belief, never compromising. Because that was what a man was, not a human, not a Krodir, not some chaotic rules, just a man's awakening.
Inexplicable. Uncompromising.
“One…” Brute looked at Blood瞳 with a complicated expression, not knowing what to say. He didn't know Blood瞳's abilities yet, but he sensitively sensed Blood瞳's determination and effort to pay for this.
“You don't need to dissuade me,” Blood瞳 replied, his eyes falling on the distant giant fortress. “Because, even if everyone in the world stood in front of me, stopping my decision… I…” Blood瞳 turned his head and glared at Brute. “I will never change!”
“Because that is my decision!”
Boom!!
The fortress in the distance exploded, and the dazzling firelight illuminated Blood瞳's back, further reflecting Blood瞳's firm expression. Brute took a deep breath and said to Blood瞳 for the first time with solemnity, “I obey your will, from now on!”
“I will remember your words today,” Blood瞳 nodded silently, then patted Brute on the shoulder.
“For humanity.”
“For humanity!” Brute replied, then took the lead and charged towards the fortress!
Facts proved that in front of a group of meteor, planetary, and even stellar warriors, the so-called indestructible fortresses and never-falling bunkers were just jokes for people to laugh about after dinner.
The Second Fortress was captured by the cosmic mercenaries in just a few minutes, and the dazzling firelight shot straight into the sky, reaching tens of thousands of kilometers high.
The Void Bomb mentioned by that noble did exist, but unfortunately, it had just erupted when Blood瞳 sent it into the abyss with one hand.
“I recognize your power, but how your power blooms needs to follow my will.”
That was the only thing Blood瞳 left for the Saichester people. Then he ordered his team to rush to the third assembly point, the Third Fortress, as quickly as possible.
There were still five such fortresses in front of Blood瞳. But after this battle, no one would doubt what else could stop them.
What about fortresses, what about Void Bombs?
When a man, just a man's will is carried out from beginning to end…………
The despicable, go to die. (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to vote for recommendations and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation..)
