Colonial Suit

#932 - Recurring sequence

The room was empty, the actors in the light and shadow repeating the same old story, just like life...

Sapos had already left. Rier sat silently in the armchair, unconsciously eating snacks one by one. Her eyes were unfocused, and she repeated unconsciously.

"Organizational model building experiment..."

Suddenly, Rier put down the snack in her hand and asked the air.

"Maria, what do you think?"

The space behind Rier twisted, and strands of black mist emanated from Rier's spine, coalescing and presenting a looming, giant tumor, on which was Maria's familiar face.

"The same as you think," she replied. "Third Sequence."

The Third Sequence was the final chapter of the Krodil end-game plan. The plan was divided into three sequences. The First Sequence was to use Abyss Seeds to create a blank slate with endless potential, thereby obtaining the strongest warrior in the universe. It was originally hoped that the blank slate would save Krodil from destruction, but the plan ultimately failed because the war progressed too quickly. Krodil disappeared into the river of the universe after only completing the modulation of the blank slate.

The Second Sequence was another direction of development, using Abyss Seeds to create weapons, forming the strongest biological weapon, which was the Mother Nest. The completion of this part was even lower. Only the initial construction of the Mother Nest was completed before the civilization was destroyed. They had to use the unfinished Mother Nest to forcibly enter the Abyss, and encountered the interception of the Elte civilization on the way, and the entire army was wiped out.

As for the Third Sequence, it was never carried out at all. According to the database gradually unlocked by Rier, this should be a combination of the First and Second Sequences. By combining the strongest warrior of the First Sequence with the strongest weapon of the Second Sequence, it would become an invincible existence in the universe. But it only existed in the plan...

The organizational model building of the Sasha Clan reminded Rier of this plan, causing her heart to sink slightly.

She didn't like the Sasha Clan because it was a race like vultures. Their glory was built on the corpse of Krodil. They had no unique civilization, no will, only constant acquisition and plunder. Even now, they are using the method of attracting talents to plunder the essence of other civilizations.

How can such a race be recognized?

Even the killing intent that Sapos had towards Rier was clear to her.

Slender fingers twirled the goblet. Rier swayed it slightly, her eyes blurred. "Third Sequence... Krodil never executed it."

"But that doesn't mean there's no information," Maria replied. "Since it was proposed, there must be corresponding arrangements and even modulation systems. If the Sasha Clan obtains these, then..."

"That's impossible," Rier said decisively. "If they had obtained these, then they should have created blank slates long ago. Why would they still be unable to perfect even the imitations of colony armor?"

"Perhaps they lack the Abyss Seed," Maria said quietly.

Rier fell silent...

This was her biggest worry. Because no one knew that the Sasha Clan had obtained the Krodil heritage in the distant Great Chaos War. No one knew how far their current biotechnology had developed. Theoretically speaking, there was no reason why they couldn't do what civilizations had done ten thousand years ago. So it was not impossible for them to secretly imitate the sequence.

"I need more information," Rier said after thinking for a while.

"Your will will be executed immediately," Maria replied, while countless black mists shot out and disappeared into the void. "I will contact all sources of pollution and summarize the information."

Maria's eyes closed. After a few seconds, they opened again. "The information has been transmitted to you."

"I received it," Rier rubbed her forehead with a headache. The thing she was most worried about had happened.

It turned out that the Sasha Clan was really carrying out a similar plan. The biggest evidence was Tirisfen under her feet.

This void city, known as 'Poison', was not an energy building at all, nor was it a void aggregate. But a living Mother Nest, or rather, an imitation Mother Nest! In the deepest part of the city, countless biological tissues are working and proliferating. They have a complete biological energy pool, weapon systems, regeneration factories, and defensive shells. Everything is seven or eight points similar to the Mother Nest.

Of course, compared to the real Mother Nest, this city is too weak. I'm afraid it can't even reach one-ten-thousandth of the Mother Nest's combat power. But this made Rier realize a fact. That is, in the information obtained by the Sasha Clan, there must be components of the Second Sequence, and even the First and Third Sequences.

"Interesting..."

In the silent room, Rier's red lips suddenly curled slightly, revealing an icy smile. "It seems I came to the right place this time. The Sasha Clan is indeed the most suitable place for me. It has prepared enough nourishment for me and will accelerate my growth."

"Please be careful. It cannot be ruled out that the Sasha Clan has ways to deal with the original cells, which will seriously harm you and me."

"There is no you and me. You and I are one," Rier interrupted Maria and stood up.

The night outside the window was beautiful, and the purple mist was thick. Rier's heart also became happy and ethereal.

"I'm even more looking forward to that experiment..."

At the same time, in the research institute of Tirisfen, in Sapos's room.

Sapos was putting down a light brain, rubbing his fingers on his brow. On the light curtain in front of him, a giant biological core was being built. Countless pulse tubes and energy pools were closely connected, sending massive nutrients to every part of the biological core.

"The Tirifen plan, it seems that the time to break through has come. If that receptor can really control tissue infection, then she may be used as a substitute for the control center, thereby reproducing the ancient Mother Nest. Of course, before that, I must erase her memory and let her be completely under the control of the Sasha Clan."

He tapped his fingers on the table a few times, and then pressed a button next to him. Immediately, a light curtain popped up in front of him, with an old man with equally white hair and beard working inside. Seeming to notice Sapos's peeping, the old man said without raising his head, "Sapos, I'm very busy now. If you interrupt my work because of you, I swear your budget for this year's annual meeting will be reduced by one-third."

"Oh, don't be angry. I just want to know how your Fermier plan is going," Sapos said with a smile, not angry at all.

"No progress. What, do you have any objections?" Speaking of the Fermier plan, the old man on the other side seemed to become interested and finally raised his head.

Sapos said with a smile. "It's hard to say, but if nothing unexpected happens, maybe it won't be you weakening my budget at this year's annual meeting, but me weakening yours."

"Want to make a bet? See whose plan is completed first?" (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to vote for recommendations and monthly tickets. Your support is my biggest motivation..)
