Mostina stared in stunned silence at the twin siblings in the sky, at the intertwining of endless red light and sin. Her eyes grew brighter and brighter.

She finally understood.

Why the Fallen Angels and Blood Angels hadn't appeared in the distant War of Annihilation, why they hadn't returned to Chaos, and walked towards death with all the other Fallen Angels. Why they had unconsciously returned here today, ten thousand years later, with fragmented bloodlines and fragile, tender bodies.

It was all for today, for this moment!

The Fallen Angel race was born from negative emotions. Their origin was without substance; it was better to say that they were a manifestation of emotions and sins, a miracle of mysterious fate, rather than natural life forms. Therefore, from birth, they had to bear pain and repay sins.

To change all of this, there were two paths.

The first was like in ancient times, to find a race as powerful and with an extraordinary will like the Krodel to bear the sins on their behalf, thereby establishing an 'external' sin cycle and drawing power from it. The advantage of this method was its convenience and effectiveness, and it greatly benefited the Fallen Angel race. The disadvantage was the difficulty in finding a 'substitute' race, and once that race was destroyed, the Fallen Angels would return to suffering.

The second was different. Its basic idea was for the Fallen Angel race to bear the sins themselves and create a cycle. The advantage was that the Fallen Angels would be independent and no longer dependent on external forces, but the disadvantage was… that it was almost impossible.

The reason was that the Fallen Angel race had an innate flaw: the virtualization of their origin! Even with a lot of life elements, how could a virtual origin be the foundation for bearing sins? Virtual… it existed outside the rules of the universe…

That was why Mostina wanted to integrate the race, use the spiritual energy of all the Fallen Angels and the wild mother nest left by the Krodel to create a new life, thus freeing the Fallen Angel race from virtualization! This idea was good, but the price was too heavy, so heavy that even the Fallen Angel race itself could not accept it. Therefore, even if Mostina was prepared to sacrifice herself, the race would not agree.

But what was she seeing now?

A new choice.

A way to establish a cycle without transforming the race, a sacrifice that had been decided ten thousand years ago.

Self-salvation.

The Blood Angel and the Burial Angel, the two most special and important beings in the Nine Heavens, hadn't returned and died in battle ten thousand years ago not because of their cowardice and fear of war, but because they had decided to make a sacrifice.

They sacrificed the uniqueness of the Fallen Angels to enter the real universe, using reincarnation to become real life forms, all in preparation for bearing sins. As they gradually awakened, their ancient bloodlines would urge them to unconsciously return here and fulfill their ancient duties.

Rebuild the Nine Heavens and recreate the cycle!

What a difficult path this was! What a huge sacrifice!

Mostina didn't know how many difficulties the twin siblings had encountered in these ten thousand years, but she knew that it must have been much more difficult than hers. To be reincarnated from a virtual being into a real one while retaining the most basic bloodline involved too many things: the interference of fate, the cycle of cause and effect, the rules of the universe, and the constraints of reality. Coupled with the blur of time, the possibility of success was one in ten thousand.

But even with such a negligible possibility, the two most important Fallen Angels had made a decision and carried it out.

Until… today…

They stood here, returned to the Nine Heavens where they were born and raised, returned to this void full of suffering and sin, and amidst the songs of all the Fallen Angels, returned to the throne!!

At this moment, Mostina suddenly felt so small and so ugly.

Compared to these two Fallen Angels, what was she?

On your wings, every scar is a witness to time, a badge of suffering. The sacrifice of the race is our glory. After ten thousand years of waiting, we look up to your return in the darkness, and today, we regain our crown and bathe in glory again!

In the singing, countless Fallen Angels broke free from their chains and rose into the sky. They flew happily around the twin siblings, making joyful laughter. But Mostina rotted and melted faster, and her consciousness began to blur, a sign of her impending disappearance. At the last moment, she raised her head, fixed her gaze on the huge shadow in the sky, and asked, twitching the corners of her mouth.

“Then, what about it?”

“We will handle it, child.” Robbie walked over with a smile and placed a palm glowing with white light on Mostina’s forehead, not caring about her ugliness and filth.

“Today, you and we are no longer alone.”

“Whether it’s disaster and pain, hardship and torment, we will face it together. Because…”

“We are partners.”

In the holy light, Mostina slowly closed her eyes, peaceful and tranquil.
