Conquer America, Start with a Boxing Champion

Chapter 9 Driving for Taylor Swift

After training, Link got his phone in the locker room of the boxing gym. There were two messages from Taylor Swift an hour ago on his phone, asking him what he was doing? And some things about rehearsal.

Link thought about it and called Taylor Swift directly.

"Hello, I'm Taylor's mother. She is rehearsing and can't answer your call for the time being."

Taylor's mother, Mrs. Andrea's voice came from the microphone.

"Hello, Mrs. Andrea, this is Link. When will Taylor's rehearsal end?"

Link said politely.

"Not sure for the time being."

"Okay, I'll contact her later."

The phone was hung up quickly, and Bobo's voice came. Link felt that Mrs. Andrea didn't like him very much, and her politeness was cold.

But it didn't matter. He didn't plan to pick up Mrs. Andrea, and he didn't need to please her.

Link replied a message to Taylor Swift and rode a motorcycle around downtown Miami.

He has been in Miami for more than a month, and he hasn't been to other places except Palm Beach. It's good to walk around while the weather is good.

Miami is the most populous city in Florida. It is located in the southeast corner of the United States. The city consists of three counties: Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Palm Beach County.

The beach where Baker's Shop is located is in the middle of the outer beach of Palm Beach County. Because of the high quality of the beach, it is called the Gold Coast.

Miami is adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean in the east and the Gulf of Mexico in the west. It is located in the subtropical monsoon climate zone. The temperature is above 15 degrees Celsius all year round. There are two seasons, winter and summer, and the winter temperature is relatively warm.

Because the climate here is warm and humid, the vegetation is lush all year round, the grass is evergreen, and the air is not polluted by industry and has extremely high quality. Therefore, Miami is called the Garden City, the American retirement center, and the "Waiting Room of God".

Miami is also an international metropolis. It is the Latin American headquarters of many multinational companies, including Disney, ExxonMobil, FedEx, Microsoft, Oracle, Sony, etc. It has an important position in finance, business, media, entertainment, art and international trade.

Last May, Miami was named the cleanest city in the United States by Forbes magazine. In March this year, it was named the richest city in the United States and the fifth richest city in the world by UBS.

In the Palm Beach Gold Coast, skyscrapers, five-star hotels, high-end holiday apartments, and sea view villas can be seen everywhere. Luxury cars are one after another on the streets, more dense than those at the luxury car expo.

Link rode a small motorcycle in luxury cars. When the car passed the Trump International Resort, his cell phone rang twice.

"Are you practicing boxing? Why practice boxing?"

"I can box too. When can we have a fight (fist fist laugh)"

Link smiled at the message. Taylor is quite cute when she is not angry.

"I practice boxing because I like it. The business of the diving shop is not so good. I plan to work part-time as a boxer to earn some pocket money."

"I won't fight with you. You are a girl. If I punch you, you will definitely cry for a long time."

Ding dong~ Ding dong~

Taylor sent several messages in a row, telling him that boxing is not a good choice. Boxing is too dangerous. He also said that he has a good voice and is very attractive. He can consider becoming a singer.

Singer? Link laughed. His voice was good and his singing was OK. But he couldn't sing and couldn't even read the musical notation. It was too difficult for him to make a living by singing, unless Taylor invited him to form a team with her. Taylor would be responsible for singing and he would be responsible for "yeah~"

"Miss Evaka, here are your car keys."

When he was replying to Taylor's message, a waiter in a red shirt brushed his shoulder and handed a car key to the woman who came out of the hotel with both hands.

Link looked up and his blue eyes flashed, and he was a little surprised.

The woman was tall, 180 cm, wearing pointed high heels, almost as tall as Link. She wore exquisite sunglasses, a sea blue shirt on the upper body, and a black skirt on the lower body. Her figure was convex and curvy, and the front and back were heavy and tiring.

Although Taylor was also 180 cm tall and had a good figure, her development was not comparable to the woman in front of him.

Link felt that the woman looked familiar, and when she passed by, he called out, "Ms. Ivaka, I'm your fan, can you sign for me?"

The woman stopped and looked back at him, seeing that he was a handsome man, and smiled, "Are you my fan?"

"Yes, I've read your report, and I think you're a very intelligent woman."

"Thank you!"

The woman smiled politely.

Link felt in his pocket and spread his hands regretfully, "I forgot to bring a pen, Miss Ivaka, please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Link Baker, and I'm an excellent boxer."

"Boxer? Are you good?"

The woman looked him up and down with her glasses and smiled.

"Yes, Miss Ivaka, you'll see me on TV and in the news soon, and they'll call me the boxing champion."

Link raised his handsome eyebrows and said confidently.

"Haha, you're funny. Goodbye, Mr. Boxing Champion!"

The woman waved and got into the red Ferrari Enzo sports car parked on the roadside. The car started and the wind blew her blonde hair away.

Link shrugged his shoulders. It was a pity that he didn't bring a pen. Eva Ka's signature should be able to sell for dozens of dollars in the future.

He suddenly flicked his forehead. When he became a boxing champion, he could earn tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of dollars for a match. What would a few dozen dollars mean? It was really a poor man who couldn't change his poor mindset.

"The rehearsal is almost over. I'm going to eat. There is an Italian seafood restaurant next to the stadium. Their shrimp soup tastes great. Do you want to come and try it?"

Taylor asked in a message.

"Okay, we'll be there in ten minutes."

Taylor's rehearsal place was at the Hard Rock Stadium, located in a wealthy community in West Palm Beach. It has the best environment, convenient transportation, and is relatively close to the beach. It is also called Miami Gardens.

It took Link eight minutes to get to the east gate of Hard Rock Stadium.

This stadium is the home base of the Miami Dolphins, a team of the National Football League. It is the largest and most luxurious stadium in Miami. It can accommodate 65,000 people, which is two or three times larger than the American Airlines Arena, the home base of the Heat.

There was a music rehearsal going on in the gymnasium, and people were coming and going in front of the door.

Sitting on the grass in front of the arena were many fans who came to support them. They held up the heads of Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Alison Krauss and Vince Gere. Waiting for posters of star singers, waiting for their idols to emerge from the stadium, including several Taylor fans.

Link waited in front of the door for more than ten minutes. Taylor, wearing a pink baseball cap, printed T-shirt and jeans, quietly came out of the east gate.

"I saw your fans, it turns out you are a big star."

"Of course, didn't you know that before?"

Taylor raised his chin proudly, with a playful look on his delicate face.

"I know, I just didn't expect your popularity to be so high."

Link smiled, turned the accelerator hard, and the motorcycle rushed onto the street with a roar.
