Crow's Paradise

Chapter 107: Remarks on the Release

Remarks on the launch

It’s shelf time again.

Speaking of which, there are quite a few things going on in this book.

At first, I thought the editor was another one that I had already added, but later I found out that it was not the case. I only added the editor after more than a month after the book was published, so there must be no one else haha.

Well, although the setting is the spiritual world, there are many things that cannot be written.

After all, at the end of the day, I'm still a human being.

I also can't confirm which of my thoughts are produced or changed by the influence of my body.

Perhaps the initial motivation for writing this book was because of his realistic character?

Well, you should also know how troublesome people with serious personalities can be.

But personality is true only in certain aspects. A person's personality is not constant. Even if a person is interested in more than one thing, it will change.

For example, when I first wrote Night Crow, I was only interested in the world after death and thought about what it would be like after death, but at the same time I was more interested in other things.

But after I went to the hospital to find out the problem last year, I became more interested in this issue.

After all, one day it might be time to practice fieldwork.

Experience affects people. From the time when I first wrote the book, I held the idea of "you can scold me, why can't I reply back" to the current disregard of "you can scold me how you like", there have been many changes.

However, now that I think about it, it may be related to the previous discussion in the author group.

Some authors have mentioned how to deal with reader comments.

After all, reader reviews influence new readers’ perceptions.

This has happened to me, too. Sometimes when I read some books, I chose to read them because the reviews were all good. However, I thought they were not good, or the reviews said they were not good, so I just gave up and stopped reading. As a result, one day I read them again. I turned to this book and read it again after forgetting what happened before, but I found it very interesting.

Now that I think about it, it’s probably due to the “primacy effect”.

Ah, this, I will also write about the "primacy effect". I won't go into the details now. If you are interested, you can check it out for yourself. The general meaning is that when people know something, the first impression often affects it. subsequent judgment.

It causes people to make preconceived judgments, which affects subsequent evaluations.

In novels, comments and posts will also have this effect.

Likewise, it will also affect the author.

This is something I learned later.

The authors in the author group at that time basically had the same opinion——

From a plot perspective.

Does the reader know how you design the worldview? There is some information that only you know. Due to the information gap, the reader's understanding of the plot is different from yours.

The most dangerous thing is that the author originally had his own outline, but the reader did not know that under the other party's understanding, he took a different line and used this as the criterion for judging.

If the author is influenced by readers to change the outline and plot, it is the most dangerous situation.

Of course, there are cases where readers have better ideas than the author. After all, the author is not omnipotent, but, inevitably, such cases are rare.

Listen to the opinions of readers. Often there are more bad influences than good ones, and your own ideas conflict with "new ideas", making a mess.

I know this very well.

My own level is limited, and I don’t like to use mature commercial writing plots, which makes the plots of the books I write tend to be bland.

I still understand my shortcomings, but I don’t understand them.

It’s just that I was willful in the past and had no motivation to change.

This is even more true now. I don’t know when I will be buried. Of course, I have to write what I want to write first.

Having said that, we have to talk about the book itself.

The prototype of the book existed during the Night Crow period. If you are an old book friend, you should be able to see the development of my material design of "spirit" and "consciousness".

The initial formation is actually a night crow.

If I remember correctly, it was me who confused Harry Potter’s Animagus with Jung’s Anima and Animus.

The multi-themed book Night Crow itself involves a variety of myths.

Because of the anima incident, I began to wonder whether the various myths, legends, and histories that I quoted myself and read were misrepresentations and distortions.

When readers see what I wrote, how much do they understand?

However, it is obvious that expression and understanding will lead to different judgments by readers.

Just like the same myth or the same text, the two authors understand the connotation differently, and the things they create based on it are also different.

But can readers specifically tell how different they are?

No, neither can the author.

I am the author of book A. I know how book A uses this material, but I don’t know how book B uses it and what its meaning is. After all, I am also a reader of book B.

And it's the same in front of "myth".

I like crows, and I have a general understanding of the various folklore, literature, and mythological images derived from crows, but I’m not sure what’s wrong with my understanding.

From another perspective, doom, night, death, and rumors are the main image labels of crows.

My original Night Crow was intended to include all four of these.

But as I kept writing, I found that it couldn’t fit.

If you want to completely write out everything you want to write, Night Crow can't finish it.

Well, now Nightcrow has become a living person.

There is also the Tsar fanfic.

Although I had previously felt that the protagonist in a certain work looked a bit like Stockholm, I did not confirm it carefully.

I didn't expect such an accident to happen.

It is for this reason that I began to wonder why I did not discover the hidden problems in that work.

What is the mechanism by which people process information?

Is there something I can avoid by understanding these mechanisms?

In Silver Crow, the subject is "memory", "death", self, and personality.

Regarding how cognitive judgment will change, and about self-questions.

Now this book takes "rumors" as its theme.

Other than these, I don't have anything else to write about.

Although I also want to make money, no amount of money can change the situation of not knowing which day I will be buried, let alone change the way I write.

can only say.

Thank you to all the book friends who are willing to continue reading for some reason. I will try my best to write and write what I want to write.

Of course, whether you want to do something and whether you can do it are two different things.

I also want to become a platinum master, but in fact I just can’t do it.

I wrote my feelings for two hours, well, there is only one chapter left after 12 o'clock hh.

It’s miserable if you don’t save your manuscript.
