Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

By the time Xuan Hao made his way back to his pavilion, he quickly checked on his quest to see how much it had progressed from his earlier reading session. Learning about three other continents, along with some general knowledge about who might be living on them, should at the very least count towards gaining new knowledge in some way…

Well, if the information was fake, I should not gain any progress towards the quest…

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao went through the quest he had just gotten earlier today before focusing on the part about world history.

To say he was shocked would be an understatement, as Xuan Hao saw the current progress of the world history part of the quest almost done and it had only taken him a little under a day!

If things continued like this, wouldn't he be able to breakthrough and reach the third stage of the Domain Lord Realm in another two days!?

Other than that, Xuan Hao also realized that the information about the three other continents that he had just read about, was true…

The strength of the people on the three continents that he had read about was simply mind boggling to the current Xuan Hao and the excitement from being close to reaching the third stage of the Domain Lord Realm quickly vanished.

That's right! Even here on the Ewaria Continent, there was still people at the Soul Ascension Realm above me! Given that the powers of the old main continent had their bases at the other three continents, they should be stronger than the people at the Ewaria Continent!

By how much, he had no idea, but Xuan Hao silently promised himself that he would not leave the Ewaria Continent any time in future before at least increasing his strength to the Soul Ascension Realm!

From what he had read earlier, there was a few mentions of people in the Soul Ascension Realm when it came to the war that had ended up splitting the ancient main continent into four back then.

So, at the very least, people in the Soul Ascension Realm would not be considered weak by any means outside the Ewaria Continent! On the other hand, they should at least be comparable to how Domain Lords were viewed on the Ewaria Continent… Just below the peak of strength that was the Soul Ascension Realm!

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao felt even more motivated to complete the system quest and increase his strength.

Even if it was far off in the future, Xuan Hao wanted to be able to visit the other three continents without  the fear of dying to some of the experts over there. Maybe even expand the Flying Sword Sect and set up a branch on each of the three continents…

After all, if the people over there were stronger, they would also provide a good training environment for his disciple when they grew stronger…

At that point in time, he could just let his disciples adventure around the three continents without having to spend a lot of time training them. From what Elder Song had taught him, the best way to let one's disciples grow, was to let them adventure outside and explore the world for themselves.

This way, they would get ample battle experience from other cultivators and demon beasts alike. At the same time, they might also be able to chance upon different rare artifacts, precious herbs or even inheritances from old powerful cultivators from the past.

And with his disciples out and about adventuring, he would be able to just stay back at the sect relaxing and enjoying life…

Sadly, his disciples were far from strong enough to go out and adventure through the world by themselves. Currently, the only place that was somewhat safe for them to go out and adventure in, was the territory of the Flying Sword Sect.

Anything beyond that would be way too dangerous for them with their current cultivation realm.

"I will have to teach them about the other continents at some point in the future… Maybe knowing about them will give them an increased drive to increase their cultivation?"

Saying this out loud to himself as he sat down in a meditative position on a small mat, Xuan Hao slowly closed his eyes and focused on cultivating.

Tomorrow, he would finish up the world history part of the quest before moving onto one of the two remaining parts of the quest.

Like this, Xuan Hao quietly began cultivating.

This had been a normal routine for him, as he no longer needed to sleep. Cultivating would be the same as sleeping, as his entire body would completely relax during the process. Slowly clearing away the mental exhaustion accumulated during the day.

In a sense, cultivating during the night was the same as sleeping for a cultivator. The only difference being that they were way more alert to their surroundings than if they were sleeping.

As the night slowly went by, somewhere at the front lines between the Azure Sky Kingdom and the Heavenly Sky Kingdom, a shadowy figure slowly appeared at the centre of the Azure Sky Kingdom's camp.

"Y-your majesty! W-why are you here!?"

A figure soon showed up as he called out to the shadowy figure that soon revealed itself to be the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom.

"Seeing as things were going so slowly with the appearance of that old fossil from the Heavenly Sky Kingdom, I decided to come myself and deal with that nuisance once and for all!"

Answering the person who had long since kneeled down in front of him, the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom narrowed his eyes as his gaze locked onto the defensive barrier set up by the Heavenly Sky Kingdom in the distance.

The soldiers of the Azure Sky Kingdom were helplessly trying to breakthrough the barrier to no avail, as they couldn't advance even a single step.

A very strong aura could be felt from the centre of this defensive barrier, as the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom very clearly knew who it was originating from.

"Hmph! I will take action to remove the old fossil tomorrow! Tell your men to rest for the night before attacking after I dealt with that old guy tomorrow!"

"Y-yes!"

Not daring to refuse the order, the general very quickly disappeared in the direction where the soldiers of the Azure Sky Kingdom were fighting in an attempt to break through the barrier.

"You have one night left… Tomorrow there will no longer be any Heavenly Sky Kingdom left on the Ewaria Continent!"

Smiling arrogantly, the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom no longer stayed around as he entered the general's tent at the centre of the army camp before sitting down to meditate until the morning arrived.

Tomorrow, he would finish off the ancestor of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom and make sure there was no Nascent Soul Realm Experts let to resist them on the Heavenly Sky Kingdom's side-

"I just hope that the person from the Spring Flower Sect stays out of it…"

Feeling a presence around the same level as his own, the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom could not help but glance in the direction of a small hilltop not far from where the battle between the two kingdoms was happening…
