Days to grind friendship at Hogwarts
Chapter 75 Repair as before
"Ah...good!"
Penello was stunned for a moment, swung his cloak, and hurried through the crowd to the dean's office.
Glenn mingled in the crowd who had not yet entered, listening to the mutterings of the people around him.
"What's wrong??"
"What happened in there?"
"I heard from the people in front that there seemed to be a duel..."
The little wizards were discussing in a flurry and slowly crowded into the lounge.
Sure enough, it is human nature to join in the fun, even among wizards.
Glenn smiled secretly in his heart, but kept his expression calm, and chatted with them.
"Merlin! Is that Robert?!"
Finally, someone discovered Robert Hilliard, slumped in an armchair, sleeping soundly.
The future prefect instantly attracted everyone's attention.
A few senior students plucked up the courage to come over and give him a gentle push.
Hilliard leaned slightly, but did not wake up, still breathing evenly.
"Don't touch him yet!" When another prefect saw someone pulling out a wand and trying to wake Hilliard up, he quickly stopped him.
The female prefect who just asked Penello to report the news also walked over.
"That's right, let's wait until Professor Flitwick comes." She looked much calmer, "The person at the door should go inside and let the people behind you come in first. Don't touch anything on the ground. If you can't stand, just come.
Go up the stairs."
Glenn looked at the fifth-grade prefect named Edith Campbell and nodded secretly.
This kind of calmness is quite rare at this age.
"You're still thinking carefully." The male prefect nodded at her.
Edith curled her lips slightly and said nothing, showing a bit of the temperament of a royal sister who has not yet formed.
Under the command of the prefects, everyone walked into the lounge in an orderly manner.
Some people did not stay and went back to their dormitories. Only the more curious little wizards were left standing on the steps, stretching their necks and waiting for Professor Flitwick to arrive.
Glenn subconsciously wanted to get out of the way, but was stopped by his two roommates.
He hesitated for a moment, but since it wouldn't arouse any suspicion, he just stayed.
Not long after, the little Professor Flitwick hurried back behind Penello, looking a little dusty.
Penello is considered tall among girls, and her long legs make running very difficult for the dean.
Professor Flitwick calmed down his somewhat rapid breathing and came to Hilliard.
"Fortunately, it's just a stun spell." He checked it, breathed a sigh of relief, and took out his wand.
"Recover quickly!"
Along with his high-pitched voice, a slight red light flashed, and magic waves spread out.
"Well..."
Hilliard uttered a meaningless syllable, his eyelids twitched twice, and he woke up leisurely.
He opened his eyes drowsily and was startled when he saw a dozen pairs of curious or concerned eyes.
"What's going on..." he asked subconsciously.
"That's exactly what we wanted to ask you, Mr. Hilliard."
Professor Flitwick said softly, and at the same time waved the crowd to disperse, allowing him to see the devastation in the lounge.
Hilliard thought he was hallucinating, and rubbed his eyes hard in disbelief, and then confirmed the scene in front of him.
"This..." He looked confused and didn't know what to say.
"Do you remember anything, kid?" Professor Flitwick guided quietly.
Hilliard frowned, trying to remember something.
"I got up in the morning, went to have breakfast as usual, and got ready to watch the Quidditch Cup match..."
Seeing him pause, Penello added.
"I remember that Robert left the auditorium with us. But it seems that we haven't seen him since we walked out of the castle."
"Do you remember what happened after leaving the Great Hall, Mr. Hilliard?" Professor Flitwick continued to ask.
Hilliard racked his brains, but found that after he walked into the foyer, his mind was blank.
He had no idea why he returned to the common room or why he passed out in the armchair.
"I...can't remember, Professor." He frowned and shook his head in pain.
"Forget it if I really can't remember." Professor Flitwick gently patted his knee and comforted him.
Hilliard seemed to remember something again, and suddenly said: "I seem to... have a feeling that I can't explain clearly, but I am very happy..."
The well-informed Professor Flitwick's face instantly became serious, and his tone was no longer relaxed.
"Happy feeling, are you sure, kid?"
"I'm...not sure, but I have a vague feeling..." He thought about it again and said hesitantly.
The dean's face was as dark as ink.
Combining all the unusual things, he had already guessed what happened.
Someone actually dared to cast the Imperius Curse on his students at Hogwarts, which made him completely angry.
But naturally he would not vent his anger on an innocent student.
"I can probably guess what happened, kid. But there are still some details missing. Could you please come with me to see Professor Dumbledore?"
He changed back to his soft tone.
Hilliard stood up and looked worriedly at the disturbed lounge, with a worried look on his face.
"Professor, shouldn't I be..." He hesitated, his voice trembling slightly.
Glenn felt guilty again on the stairs. If it hadn't been for his whim after drinking that night, the future prefect would never have suffered this kind of ordeal.
Professor Flitwick smiled at him and said in a brisk tone: "Don't worry, Mr. Hilliard, I completely believe in your innocence and integrity. There is another hidden secret in this matter. I just need you to help me and Professor Dumbledore."
Just to find out the mastermind hiding in the school."
"Really?" Hilliard's eyes showed a hint of hope.
"Of course, kid." Professor Flitwick nodded, "I promise you."
Hilliard breathed a sigh of relief and his body was no longer stiff and tense.
"But before we leave, we have to do one more thing,"
Professor Flitwick turned around and waved his wand.
“Repaired as good as new!”
The tables, chairs and sofas that had fallen to the ground jumped up one by one and automatically returned to their original positions. The bookshelf stood up again, and the scattered books and decorations returned to their original places one by one.
The scorch marks on the walls and tapestries were swept away.
The knocked down chandelier also jumped into the air and was hung again on the copper chain from the ceiling.
The broken glass on the ground floated up, automatically assembled in the air, and then attached to the window frame.
The entire lounge was restored to its original state, with only a small hole left in the last window glass.
Everyone remained silent and focused on the small gap.
There was a slight "click", which was particularly obvious in the quiet lounge.
Prefect Edith subconsciously raised her long legs, and the last glass shard broke free from its restraints, returning to its place like a bird returning to its nest.
With a glimmer of light, the entire glass became smooth and new again.
