Dear Broom Knight

#58 - We are screwed!

If it were any other adventure group, especially the Knights, this kind of behavior would be considered 'bullying'.

The people who actually worked hard were forced into solo queues, while the opponents were a confident pre-made team.

But neither side felt anything was wrong.

They had become intimately close over the years, their trust unbreakable... they were ready to die for each other at any moment.

So, they usually just enjoyed messing with their teammates.

This was the main reason why Alex, despite his good character and ability, could never truly integrate into the Tiger's Blades.

He always felt that he had to be fair to everyone.

However, for the Tiger's Blades, who had grown up together, shared hardships, never really gotten rich, and never even used money for bets, occasional small acts of bullying were a kind of fun in their lives.

No one would get angry because of it, they would just remember it and plan to get even next time.

It was after Alex came that Leon realized that his adventure group had been completely imprinted with his and Yuri's marks, and it was too difficult to absorb new blood.

Alex was his own cousin! But even he couldn't get used to the chaotic habits they had developed over the years.

This was probably the biggest difference between an adventure group that never considered the future and a Knights Order that was always preparing reserves.

Therefore, Leon chose to entrust Alex and those apprentices to Baron Lowry.

Only by letting these young people escape their influence could they have a normal future.

Their experiences were too complicated, and even if the children worked hard, they still couldn't enter their world.

Of course, if those children were to experience the same hardships and travel through the same difficulties, they might be able to develop the same style as their predecessors.

But, Leon and his brothers didn't want that.

Was their goal in fighting to this point to make their descendants suffer!

For a bright future, a little hardship and a little fatigue were acceptable, of course.

But there was no need to suffer those completely unnecessary sins.

That little purple-eyed mage was a bit cunning, but his character was trustworthy.

As long as Alex and the children followed the rules of the Knights Order, they could have a suitable and stable future.

Of course, they weren't without benefits either.

Like right now, the Light of Living Feather banner was held high in Leon's hand.

If he hadn't given it away so readily, how could the little Baron have given him the Knights Order banner so readily!

It was a pity that the little Baron wouldn't act without seeing a profit, and wouldn't give even a little bit more, even though there were still more than a dozen in the warehouse!

And he made them all himself!

The Tiger's Blades' leisurely time ended with a shrill whistle.

Million, who had rushed out to scout because of the betting pool, suddenly blew the warning whistle.

Leon abruptly raised the two banners, jumped on his horse, and rushed out.

Without him needing to say anything, the other knights quickly pulled the scholar, the bard, and another swordsman onto their horses, and directly entered the same frequency as Leon.

The rhombus-shaped knight formation charged down the mountain like a tiger.

Million, standing on the treetop, somersaulted into the air and landed accurately on Leon's vacant horse.

High Tower! It's the High Tower Wraiths!

His voice was very sharp, "They directly crashed into the Aggris Knights Order from the side!

Someone in the middle of the Knights Order released Words of Confusion, and it's already a mess!"

"High Tower actually sent out mages too?" Yuri frowned, "Why would they bring them here? Weren't they going to find the little Baron?"

"That's a second-level spell," Seven quickly replied, "Lowry's original Great Fireball wand requires a third-circle mental strength to use.

Low-level mages have no chance of fighting back if they compete in mental strength."

"Either they only have this one, or someone more powerful went to the Baron's territory? Then..."

"Prepare to charge!" Yuri's voice was interrupted by Leon.

Yuri quickly summoned the prepared scroll phantom, and Seven's chanting also ended at the same time: spells of defense and strength, speed and agility, soul soothing and steadfast will intertwined and appeared on everyone in the Tiger's Blades.

"Damn it! Where did these reinforcements come from!"

The speaker was a middle-aged man, wearing a black robe printed with a blood-red high tower, his thin face full of gloom, "There are at least three magic-type classes, I can't handle it!"

The man standing next to him, wearing a white fur short cloak, all white, with only a pair of eyes glowing with silver-blue light, curiously tilted his head: "The Tiger's Blades Adventure Group seems to only have scholars and bards, who's the third one?

Someone new?"

The middle-aged mage's eyes were about to bulge out: "You knew who it was, why didn't you say so earlier!"

The Snowman indifferently said: "There are only eight people, can't you beat them?

However, we agreed that our mission is only to hold back the Aggris people, we'll retreat as soon as that lady comes!

Don't count on us, they play with fire."

The middle-aged mage's eyes rolled around a few times before he understood: "You fought them before?

You didn't lose, but you didn't gain any advantage either, so you simply ignored them and let them follow you?

Ahhh!

Do you even have brains!

Even if you didn't want to fight yourself, couldn't you have given a reminder?

"That's not in the contract," the Snowman answered straightforwardly, then asked curiously, "Aren't you going over there?

I see that the Tiger's Blades are about to overturn your fake knight formation!"

The middle-aged mage turned around and rushed to the battlefield in a fit of anger... they could lose, but the battle formation must not be broken with one charge!

"High Priest, what do we do?" The woman behind the Snowman, also wearing a white fur short coat, asked softly, "People are really dying on the other side!"

"What?" The Snowman was extremely surprised, "I didn't even put full poison on the dog teeth!

Who died? How did they die?"

"It seems like some Tor bit them, and the knight who the guy just now hid in his entourage seemed to hate a couple, and directly gave the woman a knife when releasing the Fear spell.

I don't know what that woman was thinking, but she grabbed her husband tightly even though she couldn't live anymore... um... our dogs couldn't possibly know not to bite one person together!

I don't know if they're completely dead.

Anyway, at least ten dogs released poison."

"Tor bit them... Tor! Shit!" The Snowman tightly grabbed the belt of his cloak, looking like he couldn't breathe, "That's Torle!

Oh my god! That's an absolute confidant!

We're doomed!"
