Demon Hunter and His Hut

Chapter VIII Assault

Roger was startled.

He subconsciously clenched the iron axe hidden under the pillow. Since that night, the weapon has not left his hand.

"Could it be a hallucination?"

Tension in his heart, his breathing became a little faster.

Rumbling, a flash of lightning flashed again.

The window is open, and there are no so-called monsters.

But when Roger felt a little at ease, suddenly there was a low roar outside the window, followed by a loud bang.

The wooden door creaked loudly.

Bang bang bang!

It seemed that something was crashing wildly. In addition to the sound, Roger finally saw another figure wandering outside the window.

It was a ghastly-looking blue murloc with a height of about 1.5 meters. Unlike what I saw in Kant not long ago, this murloc appeared stronger, and his body was covered with rough scales. There are also some water plants hanging on it.

Their skulls basically do not show human features, their eyes protrude outward, and their large mouths covered with fangs almost occupy most of their faces.

The body is hunched, and the strong and exaggerated palms are sharp claws!

"What the hell is this?!"

For a second or two, Roger's mind went blank, but with the previous shock, he quickly woke up, rolled over, jumped off the bed, and rushed to the door.

In order to prevent Kant's sneak attack, Roger took advantage of these few days of leisure to reinforce the windows and doors of his wooden house with multiple layers.

According to the previous level of defense, this wooden door will probably shatter in the first impact.

"Don't let these horrible things enter the house!"

The space in the wooden house is small. Although this monster does not look as tall as ordinary people, its strength should not be high.

But their limbs are extremely long, and their movement speed must be very fast. Coupled with sharp teeth and claws, once they are entangled, at most a few breaths will be torn apart.

Facing the crisis, Roger found that his brain became extremely calm at this moment. He dragged a makeshift table against the door, and then came to the window with an iron axe.

Through the lightning outside the window, he could see that one of the murlocs was frantically hitting the wooden door, while the other was wandering aimlessly.

Seeming to notice Roger, the murloc roared and slammed to the window.

Benedict!

Sharp claws slashed across the board, taking away large swathes of sawdust.

"This guy is so fast!"

Roger was taken aback.

Just then, he heard a faint sound of gunfire in the distance.

"It's Kant!"

"Has he been attacked there too?"

Kant lives in the lighthouse. Except for the observation deck on the top floor, the entire lighthouse is made of cement. Even if there are 100 such monsters, it is impossible to push the lighthouse.

Unless they can smash open the iron gates on the ground floor, or climb the walls to the top, the lighthouse on the island is really the strongest fortress.

The sound of gunfire started to get denser, and it was obvious that more than one monster had attacked the lighthouse.

"What kind of world is this?"

Roger was already a little powerless to complain. Taking advantage of the murloc outside the window, he swung too hard, and he swung the iron axe in his hand.

puff!

The iron axe seemed to have hit a blunt piece of wood, and with a scream, half of the murloc's palm was chopped off by Roger.

Pale blue blood splashed and landed on Roger's face.

Half of his palm was chopped off, but the murloc became even more mad. He used both hands and feet, plus sharp teeth, and slammed into the wooden window frantically.

Roger's reinforcement of the window is obviously not as good as the wooden door. Under the manic attack of the murloc, a gap was quickly opened, and the murloc roared and forced his way in through the gap!

The first to get in is his half body and an arm,

He opened his mouth wide, and there was a foul stench in his mouth, his jaws opened and closed, biting frantically.

Roger took a half step back.

He felt that his heart was about to jump out of his chest, and within three seconds at most, the murloc could completely destroy the window, and then forcefully squeezed into the room, followed by another!

The scalp was numb, and Roger's eyes were instantly congested. At this moment, the hesitation and timidity completely disappeared, and the desire to survive overwhelmed all fear.

He raised the iron axe in his hand and poured all the power that had been strengthened three times on it.

Swish!

Aim at the murloc's neck, and then slash it!

The iron axe chops up fish scales, severing muscles and nerves.

Roger's full-strength blow only severely injured the opponent, but failed to kill him. Blood splattered everywhere, and the dying murloc became even more mad.

Roger didn't flinch, he pulled out the iron axe and chopped down again.

One axe, two axe, three axe...

He waved the weapon in his hand numbly, and after an unknown period of time, a hideous head fell from his neck, and blood rushed to Roger's face like a fountain.

Without the head, the monster died naturally and could no longer die, but Roger didn't seem to feel it, and was still chopping mechanically until the headless corpse was cut into pieces.

Roger snapped back to his senses, and the intense exhaustion suddenly surged up. His jaws were torn apart, and his arms were a little loose due to the excessive force.

But before he could breathe a sigh of relief, there was a loud noise from the edge of the door frame, and then the door shattered, and another murloc broke in!

"Fuck!"

Roger only had time to scold in a low voice, and then he lifted the iron axe in his hand and rushed into the study next to him with a flick of his body.

It is obviously not a wise move to confront the opponent with his current physical condition.

Roger rolled on the ground, and then ran to the corner next to the door. He held the iron axe in his hand, but his attention was completely outside the house.

"1, 2, 3!"

He counted silently until he heard the heavy footsteps of the murlocs in the room, and then there was a crackling sound!

A piece of the floor in the study suddenly lifted upwards and shot outwards at an extremely fast speed!

"It's now!"

The brain was extremely calm at this moment, Roger took a deep breath, and then rushed out.

When he rushed out of the study, what he saw was a murloc who was shot by a wooden board and staggered back.

At this time, the murloc apparently also noticed Roger, but he was in the middle of a collision, so he couldn't react for a while.

Facing a monster head-on, Roger was so scared that his legs were weak, but at this time he had no choice but to rush forward!

With the strength of the forward charge, and the impact of the wooden board just now, Roger jumped up, the iron axe in his hand was raised high, and he slashed fiercely on the murloc's forehead!

click!

The huge counterattack almost made the iron axe come out of his hand, and he lost his aim and failed to hit the neck.

Although the murloc was severely injured, he still had the power to fight back. At a critical moment, Roger abandoned the iron axe in his hand, flicked his body, and jumped wildly into the distance.

Stab it!

There was a burning pain in the back, Roger rolled and rushed out, and at this time, the murloc had already stood up staggeringly with the iron ax stuck in his forehead.

For a while, the world turned slightly black, and Roger rolled to avoid the attack of the murlocs. He copied a thick wooden stick, took advantage of the gap between an attack, and smashed the wooden stick on the back of the axe!

"Death to me!"

Click!

The axe blade went all the way down the previously opened gap, pouring into the depths of the murloc's brain!
