1919,perspective
Historically, at the end of the Ming Empire, the treasury was empty. When Li Zicheng was about to enter Beijing, Chongzhen almost cried and begged officials for donations, but how much did he get in the end?
Later, Li Zicheng detained these officials and whipped them at will. How much did he get?
Judging from this historical fact, even though the Ming Empire was extremely poor, the wealth of its hundreds of officials can be described as ‘extremely rich’.
Good wealth is hard to part with, and this is always human nature.
When selfishness comes out, all kinds of strange things will happen, and any reason will be gone at this time.
In other words, their so-called rationality will be biased towards their own interests, and they can abandon everything in order to expand their own interests.
In their eyes, the Ming Empire at that time was already overwhelming, and they never believed that Li Zicheng could overthrow the Ming Empire.
They regarded the Manchus in the Northeast as a threat and exaggerated in various ways, but in fact they never looked down on these barbarians in their hearts. They thought that as long as they took it seriously, they could suppress them casually?
But what happened in the end? History has already told them what their fate will be.
The Ming Empire disappeared into thin air, and this is the situation facing Buddhism in the prehistoric times today.
It's a pity that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas inside cannot see clearly at all.
Their eyes have always been fixed on the Buddhist treasure house, and all their thoughts are to benefit themselves and their own front.
They understand that if they get less benefits, it means that their 'opponents' will get greater benefits, which will also make them likely to be suppressed by their opponents in the next competition, and they will not be able to reach the top.
possible.
But there is one thing that they are in perfect agreement with, that is, they all want to empty out the Lingshan treasure house.
The reasons they gave were high-sounding enough, such as the threats faced by Buddhism, the need for commodities for the newly established trading center, etc.
But all the participants knew that these reasons were just for others to hear. Everyone else also knew that they were just reasons, and they all chose to approve them tacitly.
As a result, the large-scale corruption incident in ancient Buddhism appeared so openly in front of all living beings, which only made people dumbfounded.
Even human dynasties know the importance of the treasury, let alone immortals and gods.
Heavenly Court and Haotian will stare at Lingshan Mountain with the Kunlun Mirror whenever they have free time, not for any other reason but to learn from it.
He also knew that the root cause of all this was Tathagata's departure, which led to disorderly internal strife among his successors.
Naturally, it is impossible for him to think that such a situation will also occur in heaven, but so what? Can't he get a glimpse of it?
In addition, Haotian is also calculating the time when Buddhism will collapse.
That is when the treasure house of Buddhism is empty.
At that time, if food and salary cannot be paid, the Buddhist disciples at the bottom will not be able to rebel?
Buddhism shouts to the outside world that the four elements are empty, but Haotian knows very well that this is just for believers. If they really do this, how can Buddhism be at its peak?
Where can there be so much gold and silver to build the golden bodies of many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas?
All this requires money. The monks outside Lingshan can still hold on for a while, but the Buddhist disciples above Lingshan have long been accustomed to many benefits, and how many of them are ordained by these high benefits?
Can't explain clearly either.
Don’t think that everyone in a sect is a so-called ‘fanatic believer’, and don’t think that ‘devout believers’ can abandon material things.
When the less devout believers among them begin to complain, their complaints will inevitably spread and affect everyone else.
What’s more, there are many ‘speculators’ among them.
You must know that in order to prosper Buddhism, anyone dares to accept it. There are not many people who can lay down their butcher's knife and become a Buddha immediately.
These people, in the past when benefits were high, were still honest. After all, there seems to be no other place with such a high salary except here.
But only they themselves know how much loyalty they have in their hearts.
These people can be rich and powerful together, but once they fall into poverty, these people will definitely be the first to rebel.
The description of trees falling and hozens scattering has always been the biggest display at the end of the dynasty.
Haotian doesn't think that Buddhism in ancient times can be an exception.
As the Emperor of the Prehistoric Heavenly Court, he had to some extent received information about the opinions of the saints from the mouths of the saints. How could he not understand that the two great saints of the Buddhist sect had accepted their fate, were already planning for the future, and had abandoned most of the people in the Lingshan Buddhist sect today.
Even their biggest backers have completely lost confidence, leaving them with only a guess as to how long they can struggle.
Haotian didn't think about how much benefit he wanted to gain from it, and there was no need.
If he still doesn't understand that the so-called balance technique needs to be based on his own strength, then he is not Haotian.
He was happy to watch, and he also knew that the collapse of Buddhism would actually be more beneficial to Heaven. A typical point is that Heaven's authority in the world will be further strengthened in the future.
He is not worried that the demon clan will rise quickly by attacking Buddhism. That is just a mirror. Before the demon clan has its own saint, everything can only be an illusion.
He agreed and knew that the demon race on the ancient land could never decline again. Who allowed the number of people to continue to grow? If the old ones died, wouldn't new demon clans be born?
It's okay to talk about the saying "subjugate demons and eliminate demons", but it's only meant for mortals to hear. If you really devote yourself to it, you'd be a fool.
No one would do something that is impossible to accomplish. The fall of the prehistoric monster clan from the position of the protagonist is only a decline, not destruction.
The fate of the demon clan has never dissipated, and it is impossible to dissipate in the ancient times.
The same is true for the demon clan, and the same is true for the witch clan.
It's just that the Wu clan seems to be more low-key.
With the existence of Empress Houtu, who would dare to destroy the Wu clan?
The Wu Clan was transformed by the essence and blood of Pangu. It is not an exaggeration to say that Pangu is authentic. This world was opened by Pangu. If the Wu Clan is really to be completely destroyed, who knows what will happen next?
It can be done to subjugate demons and eliminate demons, but most of them are for mortals to see. Kill those demons that are too rampant, because they threaten the foundation of the orthodoxy of the human race and the survival of the only protagonist in the prehistoric world.
That's all.
When it comes to Buddhism, the same is true. With two great saints as its backers, even if Jieyin Zhunti has accepted his fate, it is an acceptance that Buddhism is about to fall from the peak to the bottom, rather than thinking that Buddhism will be destroyed.
No one dares to really destroy Buddhism. Do you really think that saints are vegetarians?
When the Yin and Shang Dynasties were conferred gods, the four great saints jointly suppressed Jie Jiao. In the end, didn’t they have to leave the seeds for Jie Jiao?
When Daodetianzun took Yunxiao, he didn't just suppress him at Qilin Cliff. Which saint didn't see the Wudang Virgin who escaped? Have you seen him pursue him in the end?
If the saints had the intention, how could the Virgin have escaped at that time?
It's just the acquiescence of the saints, knowing that things must not be done, otherwise the day when the Tongtian leader comes out of the Zixiao Palace in the future, their disciples will also fall one by one.
This was the case with Jiejiao in the beginning, and it is the same with Buddhism now.
Do you think Jiejiao has risen very quickly after the ban on the Conferred Gods List was lifted?
Zhao Gongming almost beheaded one of his three corpses on the day when the list of gods was lifted, and now he was on the verge of beheading the second corpse.
How long did it take for Yunxiao to be released from the prison at Qilin Cliff and become a quasi-sage?
The Doumu Yuanjun in the ancient starry sky has never appeared in front of the world since the ban on the list of gods was lifted. But any speculation about her cultivation level does not put the name of quasi-sage on others?
He is one of the four direct disciples of Tongtian, and his strong foundation can only be matched by the saint's closest disciples. In the eyes of others, is the natural chasm of the quasi-sage really a natural chasm for others?
Even if someone is not a quasi-sage now, how long will it take to cross over?
Even if outsiders see that Doumu Yuanjun is still Daluo Jinxian, they will only think that they are not in a hurry and that they want a stronger foundation.
Just like many great powers today, even if they vaguely see that Buddhism is about to fall from its heyday, and the fate of many Buddhas may only be reincarnation, but these great powers have never given the reincarnation quota to Maitreya Buddha.
There is no other, because Maitreya Buddha is the direct disciple of Zhunti.
Even when Emperor Juntaiyi fights with him, he must consider these factors.
On the other hand, if Di Juntai was faced with a burning lamp, it would be another scene.
They would not think that if Ran Deng was killed by them, Jie Yin and Zhunti would not wait to show up to save him.
The past is just a Buddha. Since it has passed, it is not immortal, because nothing that happened in the past can change the present and the future.
The position of a future Buddha is the bottom line for receiving guidance. No matter what happens, even if Buddhism is at its most dangerous moment, even if something goes wrong with the current Buddha, the future Buddha will not be able to do it, because that is the true future of Buddhism.
But Maitreya has no idea about this at all. He has been immersed in the desire for power, has been completely attracted by the current Buddha position, and is thinking about how to take over.
This has almost become Maitreya's inner obsession. When he traveled to the west, in order to express his status in Buddhism, Maitreya appeared directly and threatened Sun Wukong again and again: "Do you know who I am?"
The purpose of emphasizing this time and time again is to tell Sun Wukong that there is not only Tathagata Buddha on the Lingshan Mountain, but also him, the future Buddha.
He not only wanted to tell Sun Wukong, but more importantly, through Sun Wukong, he wanted to tell the immortals and gods throughout the world that he could not be ignored.
If you say that Maitreya has no idea at all, no one will believe you.
His obsession now finally had the possibility to be implemented, and he had no reason not to seize it.
Little did he know that all his calculations were doomed to come to nothing. He didn't know that the "Future Buddha" that Jie Yin Zhunti hoped for most would always be the "Future Buddha".
Because once the future Buddha becomes the present Buddha, there will be only the present and no future, which only means that countless kalpas are just around the corner.
It is impossible for Maitreya to know these things, and it is also because his status and cultivation are still insufficient.
There are some things that saints have good connections with, but it is impossible to tell anyone below them.
There are some things that some powerful people under the saints have vague guesses about, but it is impossible to mention them because they are very aware of the taboos involved. Once there is a fuss and everyone knows about it, it will be revealing the secrets of heaven, and they are likely to be punished by heaven.
of.
Don't think that God's punishment seems to be nothing in many novels. That's because in those heavens and earth, the so-called way of heaven doesn't even have basic consciousness. It is completely a subconscious punishment from the world.
On the other hand, in any world where the way of heaven has become conscious, once divine punishment appears, there will be only one result - death.
This kind of death may completely wipe out even the true spirit, without giving you any chance.
Do you really think that ‘secrets cannot be leaked’ are just words?
The more senior you are in a position, the more you understand what to say and what not to say, and the more you understand that you must pretend to be stupid when you should.
Jieyin Zhunti watched Maitreya slipping towards the abyss of desire, still making no move, as if acquiescing, but in fact how could there be less calculations in their hearts?
As long as they are still alive, the possibility of Maitreya's death is very slim. If this is the case, why bother to stop it?
Why not take this opportunity to let Maitreya give it a try?
Even if he still failed in the end, wouldn't Maitreya figure it out by himself?
As long as Maitreya figures it out by then, it is not impossible to cut off his obsession and achieve a true leap in cultivation.
At least that's what Liu Hao himself thinks.
Because of this, when looking at Lingshan, he focused more on Maitreya. It would be a pity to miss such a good observation target.
Liu Hao has no pursuit of the results, and it is none of his business anyway. Regardless of whether Maitreya meets the expectations of the reception and the Zhunti, to him, it is a rare piece of data. After summarizing it, its value is also
All equally extraordinary.
He is the purest bystander, completely different from Haotian who takes pleasure in others' misfortune.
He never paid attention to the Buddhist trading center at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, because he knew very well that it was just a means for many Buddhas to empty out the Buddhist treasure house;
But he doesn't think that the Buddhist trading center at the foot of Lingshan Mountain will only be like this in the future. Once Tathagata returns in the future, this will be an important means for Buddhism to control the trading chain. The prototype has been placed there, but it's just a question of how to use it.
As for how long it would take for the prehistoric monks to accept and trust him, that was not his concern.
He also didn't think Tathagata didn't have the means.
Even if the prehistoric Buddhism was able to reach its peak, the biggest reason was Jingyin and Zhunti, the importance of Tathagata cannot be ignored, nor can the great wisdom exerted by Tathagata be ignored.
He has always been a mature leader, and the comparison between the entire Buddhist sect before he left and after he left has already explained everything.
The more Buddhism declines in the future, the day the Tathagata returns, the more support he gets from Buddhist survivors will become more advanced.
