Davis possessed a hostile gaze as he looked at those four Godwin Family Ancestors. They were the remnants of the Godwin Family that managed to escape from the Aurora Cloud Gate's expedition.

As far as he knew, the Void Dust Empress carried out the first attack, destroying their foundations.

Then Guardian Kalaxis Vain ordered a mission that encouraged Immortal Kings and above, whether it may be disciples or elders, to go slaughter their higher-ups for picking a fight with them. Although Davis didn't know what went on in this short war that didn't last a week, he knew that the Godwin Family Ancestors chose to retreat into their own hideout or mini-realm, whatever it may be.

That can't be helped as it was difficult to catch Immortal Emperors, and he had no intentions to blame anyone whatsoever.

It was Myria and his problem, after all. He was only grateful to the Aurora Cloud Gate for taking care of a huge problem. The Fire Phoenix Clan was also similar, but they were slightly smarter about it and didn't offend the Aurora Cloud Gate.

Nonetheless, he wondered how these four Godwin Family Ancestors got the gall to send out Vacuous Beasts like they were transporting them like merchants, specifically like merchants of death, as they caused billions of death. Because their spatial vortexes were sensed in many regions, their auras were already found out, and bounties were placed on their heads all over the First Haven World. He had heard of this news while traveling, but to his surprise, they were all caught here.

'It makes sense… if the Guardians went to deal with the problem… then these Godwin Family have no chance to escape...'

Davis imagined as he walked towards Myria and looked at her side face. Seeing that she was fine but ignored him, he inwardly laughed before opening his mouth.

"Thanks for keeping an eye on my beauties." He bent slightly and spoke.

Myria gave him a side eye, but he said nothing more and sat beside her, although each seat was all four meters away from the other.

Her white hair flailed ever so lightly amidst the light breeze, once again displaying her undying beauty. It was unknown what she was thinking, but she returned her gaze to the cocoon.

On the other hand, Davis momentarily glanced at the others and waited for them to open their mouths. But even after a few seconds, they made no noise and kept staring into the cocoon, causing him to sigh.

"Alright. Can I know in what way I am related to this mess, except for the fact that my anarchic divergence may have had a tipping influence on the overall situation?"

The five Guardians turned to look at him at the same time, causing Davis to blink. They gave him a good look as though finally sizing him up. However, he saw the Void Dust Empress over to his other side and open her mouth.

"There was a madman who appeared near the Divergent Peak where this situation unfolded. He had some kind of formation disc that made use of the divergence in this region to unleash the spatial rifts that brought forth the Vacuous Beasts, but I presume he's also after your death-attributed immortal beast."

"What…?"

Davis was with her until she said that some madman was after his death-attributed immortal beast.

"I thought the one who was behind these Godwin Family idiots was Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley-"

"Oh? You're here?"

Abruptly, Davis's gaze flickered as he heard a familiar tone, although it sounded in a different voice, causing him to point his gaze toward the cocoon.

"…"

The Guardians were also shocked as they didn't expect Nyx Godwin's grandfather to talk as they kept him and the others in a frozen state. They even went through their memories but found nothing of concern other than each of them meeting a black-robed man which they presumed to be that madman.

They didn't even react but now, there was someone talking using Nyx Godwin's grandfather.

Nonetheless, they didn't show their shocks on their faces, still appearing as calm as ever.

Davis narrowed his eyes at Nyx Godwin's grandfather, whose eyes flashed with a red light, "The fact that you reacted to the name I uttered must mean you're Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley. No wonder you were able to control these idiots without letting them know that they're being controlled, essentially making them a death squad for your vile purposes."

"Vile?" Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley's tone sounded confused, "Why do you and many people call that when all I want to do is imbue the world in marvelous colors."

Davis's brows twitched. To imbue the world in marvelous colors, was there any need to steal his yang essence? Suppressing his anger, he opened his mouth.

"Everyone, be careful. This man can use something called Laws of Enchanting that I'm not sure about, but it's extremely dangerous."

"Enchanting Laws? That's a fusion between Karma and Illusion Laws, imbued into the art of Runic Inscription."

Guardian Elysian narrowed his brows as he responded, "That's different from the man whom Guardian Kalaxis Vain and the Void Dust Empress fought."

"Indeed, that madman used Bloodcurse Laws." Guardian Kalaxis Vain nodded.

Guardian Kieth also nodded as he turned to look at Davis, "He almost got my master, the Void Dust Empress. I will not forgive him, but judging by what you said, they don't seem to be the same character."

Everyone turned to look at Davis, but the person himself was confused about the same.

"Bloodcurse Laws?"

New information was entering his mind, but he uttered in confusion.

This was something he hadn't heard about, but his gaze flickered as he could make a distinction and connection as he remembered the Void Dust Empress's words about this so-called madman wanting Nadia.

"So you teamed up with Wicked Tamer Jaxon Harrow to unleash the Immortal Emperor Vacuous Beasts here?"

"Oh? You even know his name?" Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley cackled, "I'm getting more and more interested in you, and unlike the last time, I think we can talk more… share more…"

"…!"

Davis felt an eerie chill. This bastard had the gall to steal his yang essence and even wanted more.

"Share? What kind of relationship do you share with him?"

Suddenly, a thick aura descended on Davis, causing his body to sink even while he sat. He forcefully raised his head and turned to look at the white-black-robed woman who stared at him with intense scrutiny.

"I have nothing to do with this vile bastard…"

"Zera, stand down..." Guardian Elysian spoke, but she kept staring at Davis.

"Then why did you react so heavily?"

"It's not something you need to know." Davis gnarled, pressing on the table before him with his palms to prop himself from being bent.

"That's not an answer. As for your question, I- no, everyone here needs to know because it concerns the shattered fortune of every being who died today."

Guardian Zera's voice was cold. She didn't seem to be in a good mood, but Davis was also the same, causing him to glare at her.

"I fell into his trap, and he stole my yang essence using enchanted women. Do you also want it since you badly want to suppress me?"

"…!?"

Myria gave a full-blown look of shock at Davis as her eyes went wide while the others also went stunned, unable to believe what they had just heard.

Guardian Zera also appeared dumbfounded, causing the pressure she focused on him to disperse on its own. Her eyelids began to flutter before she looked away.

"I… I apologize. I didn't mean to…"

Her voice turned meek before she cupped her hands and bowed.

Davis stared at her, but his gaze flickered as he saw a Guardian apologizing.

"You should've listened to me."

Guardian Elysian reiterated, causing Guardian Zera to raise her head and look at him with a complicated expression on her face.

"Yes, husband~"

She sat down, appearing to take a deep breath as she calmed herself.

Guardian Elysian cupped his hands towards Davis.

"Excuse my wife. Due to her physique, she is unable to maintain her sanity quite well. I hope you can forgive her."

"Can I know what kind of physique?" Davis still appeared annoyed.

"She has named it the Discordant Nexus Physique." Guardian Elysian's tone also became somewhat amicable, "The Physique has provided her with the power of Yin-Yang Laws, but it has its own drawbacks as well. For example, her mood travels between the extremes… sometimes, you couldn't find any woman more obedient than her, and other times, you cannot find any other woman rude and stubborn than her..."

"That is…" Davis finally went a bit understanding, but he turned to look at the others.

"Do all you have physiques that made you Divergents?"

"You could say that."

Guardian Elysian nodded ever so lightly, causing Davis's lips to curl into a wry smile as he comfortably sat back in his seat. He felt that there was little use making enemies of fellow Divergents, but he couldn't even afford to make them his enemies at this point in life as they were just too strong.

He figured it was pointless to continue bickering with them, not to mention he could see they were just as concerned as him about the lives lost today.

He felt that was really unexpected of... Divergents.

Just as Davis turned to look at Nyx Godwin's grandfather or, rather, Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley, he saw the other party's eyes flash with an otherworldly light.

"I see. I see. That's been informational. Any other physiques I can learn about and obtain?"

"Unfortunately, his yang essence is the last thing you can obtain. After all, you entered the wrong neighborhood."

Guardian Kieth stood up and pointed at Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley.

"…" But Davis remained silent.

Who was this fellow purple-robed man? Was that jab necessary?
