Empress of the Entertainment World

169 Liu's Princess

CHAPTER 169

"Yes, but before that, your sister is returning for her break. I need you to pick her up from the airport."

The words he heard felt like heavy drum sounds echoing in his ears.

The number one princess of the Liu Empire was coming home for her master's break and now he had to babysit her.

Liu Xueyi exhaled sharply as he placed a hand in his pocket and questioned, "Why me?"

"Why not you?"

"Mum."

"Fine, because your little baby, requested you specifically came."

"Are you sure, she did and you are not the one pushing me?"

"Excuse me? Is that what you should say, Liu Xueyi? She is your sister you know. Your beloved flesh and blood."

"Aye, ma. I know. I am not complaining. It is just…"

"No excuses."

'Urgh!' He growled inwardly. Heaven knew this was already a headache for him.

He felt if he went out with Andromeda he would feel better, but turns out he didn't and now he had to pick his kid sister.

Not that he had any problem with that. It was just that his sister could be a big baby at times. And he was sure she would get jealous if she saw him with Andromeda.

But knowing his mother, his scolding would not end there and she may even go to the point of visiting his house for this.

As much as he valued her, now wasn't the time for such. Not now when his emotions were all over the place.

"Fine."

"Better. Next time do not make me repeat myself and wait so long if you know you are going to agree."

His lips fell at her scolding. Hell no, he would not have accepted if not that he knew what she could do.

"Next time, have one of the drivers pick her up. She is not a kid mum, stop spoiling her."

"Bleh blah. She is my last born and since you refused to be spoilt, pardon me for spoiling who chose to let me shower her with my love."

"Then you should have just gone to pick her yourself, why trouble me?" He muttered to himself but his mother heard it all.

"Liu Xueyi!"

"Goodbye ma. I would be late if I remain here."

"Wait, you do not even know the time she would be returning to the country."

His lips pulled back to the side, revealing a playful smirk as he lifted his right hand and swapped hands holding his phone to check the time.

"It is already 3:45 pm. She should arrive at 4 pm give or take. She loves coming home at this time from any journey. And judging by your time of call, I know you would make it difficult for me to refuse your request and get a second option. She is arriving soon."

"Whatever."

BEEP!

His mother wasted no time and ended the call, leaving him to do her bidding. It would truly be a waste of his time and hers if she kept on trying to taunt him.

He knew them all. Sadly, he did not know the woman he loved so much.

Lifting his head, his gaze locked on Andromeda standing at the opposite end from where he was, with her arms folded in front of her chest.

'I guess I have to make your outing to the park some other day, huh.'

Stepping forward, he walked over to Andromeda, wearing his usual cute smile as he offered her his hand.

"Your mum, huh," Andromeda stated, taking his hand.

"Yeah."

"Why? You look like you have something on your mind that you wish to say," Andromeda hinted.

"And so do you," he retorted pressing the back of her palm with his thumb softly.

"Yeah but mine is normal. Nothing much. So what's up with you?"

"My sister arrived."

"Your sister? I mean... Y-you have a sister?"

He rolled his eyes at her shocked expression but let her figure out her answer herself.

"Oh my. Forgive me. I didn't know. I felt you... I mean you have never mentioned her."

"I just did."

"This doesn't count," Andromeda retorted.

"It does. Anyways," he shook his head, riding his mind off any other thought. "She should arrive in the country anytime soon."

"I see."

"Yes. Mum wants me picking her up."

"Okay. So why are you looking displeased?"

"Because in case you have forgotten, we were going to the park."

"No," Andromeda immediately objected. All these while she had been with him, she did not gain anything from it save for his silence.

And now if they were still planning on staying out together, she would prefer it was done with someone else.

Perhaps getting to see if the Liu family members are all like him wouldn't be a bad idea.

His eyebrows rose in a questioning manner at her. "Excuse me?"

"I mean, yes." His brows knitted further but all she got was his silence, urging her to explain herself more.

"I would love to visit the park with you. However, I think it would be greater fun to meet with your sister."

His forehead creased. He did not know what to make of her request so instead, he nodded his head.

"Okay. It is not entirely a bad idea. Fine, let us go."

"Good."

Without uttering one word of her decision to him, Andromeda took a step forward, silently urging him to follow but all she did was ended up being pulled back as he took the opportunity to wrap his hand around her waist.

"Are you okay?"

She nodded her response, blinking her eyes cutely at him.

"Use your mouth. You are not a Lizard, Andromeda."

"Fine. I am okay. Are you?"

"Yeah."

"Great. Now let's go. We do not have all day and I am sure your sister wouldn't want to be made to wait."

To ease his worry, she let her smile pour out, reaching up into her eyes, pressing her lips together into a tight-lipped smile.

"Now let's get going. I can't wait to see what the female version of you, look like."
