Enlightenment begins with covering the sky
About the protagonist
I suddenly discovered that after writing this, there are still many people who have not figured out the protagonist's way of thinking and behavioral logic.
Let me explain it a little bit here.
The first is the relationship between the protagonist and other people. I won’t go into details about some complicated ones. Simply speaking, they are friends, enemies, passers-by, and opponents.
Needless to say, the relationship between passers-by is the kind of relationship where there is no relationship, or a chance encounter without any entanglement. There is nothing to say about this relationship. Basically, it can be said that there is no relationship.
Then there are the enemies. The protagonist will not hold back on those who are confirmed to be enemies, such as the group of people at the Yaochi Conference, or the killers from the Killer Dynasty they met.
Then there are the opponents. The so-called opponent is the opponent on the imperial road. To deal with such people, the protagonist's attitude is upright. Whether it was the previous battle with Ji Haoyue or the one-on-three battle with Taixuan Sect, the protagonist never used any underhanded tactics, but fought openly and openly. Even when facing a future opponent like the Holy Prince, the protagonist is upright and deals with him in a frank and fair manner.
Finally, friends. The protagonist doesn't have many friends, only Ye Fan and Pang Bo, and his friendship with them happened before he started practicing. For friends, without touching the bottom line, he will try his best to help with something that can be helped, such as helping Ye Fan to visit the ancient forbidden land, such as promising Ye Fan to give him a Nine Secrets and so on.
That’s about it for the protagonist’s relationship with other people.
I consider my protagonist to be a very principled person. If someone wants to say something about taking away Ye Fan's opportunity, or something to lick Ye Fan. I really don't know how to explain it.
In fact, according to my current plot development, the protagonist and Ye Fan are obviously in a mutually beneficial and win-win situation. If you don’t believe it, you can compare what Ye Fan owns now with what Ye Fan owned in the original book. It is obvious that Ye Fan is now “richer”.
In this process, the protagonist, as the leader of the cooperation, naturally gained huge gains through his cooperation with Ye Fan, far exceeding the opportunities obtained by Ye Fan in the original work.
This is an obvious state of win-win cooperation.
Finally, let’s talk about the protagonist’s character, let’s talk about the five most basic points of loyalty, filial piety, sincerity, trustworthiness, and righteousness.
Loyalty, there is nothing to say about this. As a casual cultivator, you can't say you are loyal to anyone. Strictly speaking, you are only loyal to yourself.
Filial piety, there is actually nothing to say about this. Before the protagonist left the earth, he left his parents a fortune that they could not use up in their lifetime, and also used magic medicine to recuperate their bodies, which was enough to ensure that their parents would be healthy and free from disasters and diseases throughout their lives. If you think that you must serve your parents to be filial, then you should be considered unfilial.
Sincerity, there is a slight flaw in this, that is, I am not honest with my friends. He did not tell Ye Fan, Pang Bo and others his most core secrets, such as the Mirror of Reincarnation and the Tool for Proving the Way. But I guess if these core things are really exposed, there will definitely be a lot of curses!
Trust, the protagonist has never breached his trust so far, and he has never regretted anything he promised.
Righteousness, I think the protagonist I wrote is already talking about loyalty. When he had just entered the world of spiritual practice, he tried to protect his classmates all the way to Beidou safely, and even gave up some treasures in the process (the Buddhist treasures of Daleiyin Temple).
That's about it. If I can't understand the character of the protagonist, I really don't know how to explain it.
