"Could you explain in more detail what's going on here? I mean, you know I'm a Traveler, so I know rather little about your world since I still don't understand why Fate's Blessing rained a hail of lightning down on this village!" Zayne asked in confusion rubbing his cheek.

The man in the armor seemed to be expecting this as he crossed his arms over his chest and said seriously, "Fine, while we get to the right place I'll explain to you what's going on. First of all, my name is Roland, this is Elin."

Zayne glanced at the girl with the pigtails, remembering how fast and strong she was able to throw him into the carriage.

"I am a knight, she is my assistant and I am one of the commanders in the Lax River Region responsible for the safety of Landow Village as well as the surrounding territories." Roland spoke as he looked out the window, "Fate's Blessing can take many forms, but it always works for the good of the area, though, you better see for yourself."

Zayne didn't understand much, but he decided to heed Roland's advice, so he turned his head and after a while, his eyes went wide.

One of the lightning bolts struck the ground, a few meters away from the usual house, it seemed that was all, but in just a few moments an unusual tree several meters high appeared at the site of the strike. On it were glowing blue runes as well as small azure fruits that grew at a tremendous rate.

"But... How is that possible?" Zayne uttered in disbelief as his jaw dropped wide open.

"It's Fate's power." Elin said with a strong expression, "You're lucky that you were the first Traveler to get Fate's attention because Fate is very generous, everyone knows that."

Tremble.

Suddenly the carriage hit a bump as it threw the passengers up slightly, however, the only one affected was Zayne as the rest stayed in their seats, even Amelia.

"My assistant is right." Roland said quietly, then he looked intently at Zayne as his thick black hair and sharp green eyes gave him a majestic aura, "However, the world is not at all simple and it is obvious that Fate, has its opponents."

Zayne remained silent until he nodded, "You're talking about Chaos, right? If I understand correctly, that's an alternative to Fate for you."

"Alternative isn't exactly the right word, but Chaos is definitely trying to stand up to Fate since after almost every Fate's Blessing, Chaos Hearth shows up somewhere." Roland's face grew darker, "Anyway, we need your help, which is why we had to pick you up in such a rude way."

"My help...?" Zayne pointed at himself in confusion as he didn't understand how he could help a seemingly strong man like Roland.

"Sure. I saw your fight through the memory stone, obviously, you're not a professional fighter, but you certainly have potential, however, we need you because you were in the middle of things." Roland calmly explained, but Zayne's face was still puzzled.

"Agh, I'll put it simply." Elin frowned as she glanced at Zayne, "You're lucky, Fate rarely turns its eyes on someone, so sometimes, people like you can be the most important in Chaos Hearth."

"Elin!" Roland suddenly exclaimed with a strict look, "Zayne, got Fate's Sight because he was the one who killed the Black Wolf and proved it in a fair fight! By disrespecting him, you practically disrespect Fate!"

Elin wanted to object, but not to Roland, as his gaze seemed to pierce her, so she just lowered her head like a scolded student by his mentor.

"I don't mind helping you, but what exactly should I do?" Zayne asked with a serious expression.

Roland smiled, quickly glanced at Harald and Aron as his eyes lit up in flames, "I knew I could count on you. Sometimes those who are under the influence of Fate's Sight get special bonuses in Chaos Hearth, or on the contrary, make the others stronger. Sometimes there is no effect, but in that case, you can just help us, an extra fighter never hurts."

"Is this effect permanent...? Am I stronger now in any Chaos Hearth...?" Zayne asked hopefully, looking at Roland.

"Hah, everyone in your position has asked the same question, but the answer is no. One Fate's Blessing, one Chaos Hearth, one person that was the center of Fate's Sigh." Roland said seriously, "We've lived in this world for a long time, that's why we know how to determine where Chaos Hearth will appear, and that's why we're in such a hurry."

Roland sighed, smiled, and held out his hand, "Zayne, now that you know everything, are you still willing to help us? It may be dangerous, but where there is danger, there are always rewards, I bet you know that."

[You have received a Unique Quest offer! Do you wish to accept?]

'Hah, no words again? Well, that's even better.' Zayne grinned inwardly before shaking Roland's hand and saying, "I hope you can teach me how to fight Chaos Hearth."

"Sure I am!" Roland exclaimed with an excited expression.

[Disaster near the Village

Chaos Hearth is a familiar phenomenon in this world, but it is as dangerous as Fate's Blessing can be useful. You have become the one to whom Fate's Sight has been turned, so Commander Roland has asked for your help.

Chaos should not frighten you, for fear only breeds more fear].

'Unique Quest again...? Well, maybe Elin is right, since getting two Unique Quests in a row is actually lucky.' Zayne smiled slightly as he glanced at the girl who was looking out the window.

Everything in Fallen Fate Online had many variations as well as Quests. The basic types were several. Common Quests could easily be obtained from merchants or blacksmiths. Special Quests needed to fulfill certain conditions, but the reward was higher.

Hidden Quests were different as sometimes it was necessary to go through a series of incredible events to get it. Unique Quests differed by the high reward because after completing these quests forever disappeared, so they were available only once.

Crackle.

Suddenly the carriage stopped as after a long time the sound of hooves hitting the ground stopped.

"We're here!" The coachman exclaimed, loud enough to be heard inside.

"Fine! I can't wait to see what Chaos Hearth has brought this time!" Harald showed a broad smile before he was the first to step out of the carriage, clearing the way for Aron. Amelia followed him, and the last ones were Zayne, Roland, and Elin.

In front of them was a rather large camp with over a hundred soldiers. Some were dressed in simple leather armor with a spear, but there were several in gray armor and long swords on their belts. On their chests was the mark of a red feather just like Roland's.

"Mr. Roland! You've finally arrived!" There was an excited voice as a tall girl in a blue robe, with long blond hair, and big glasses ran up to them.

"Oh, Rina, I hope we got here in time?" Roland smirked confidently.

"Agh, Agh, Agh..." The girl stopped trying to catch her breath, "By my calculations, Chaos Hearth will activate in ten minutes!"

"Hah, fine! In that case, let's take a look at it. It's better to know your enemy in person, isn't it?" Roland grinned, put his hand on the hilt of his sword, and headed forward.
