"There are too many injustices in the world, and the grievances of those who died unjustly are too heavy. On the one hand, the underworld is full of resentment, and on the other hand, they cannot be reincarnated. They can only be reborn and suffer forever in the underworld."

Ksitigarbha sighed and said, "Poor monk... I really can't bear to see them suffer like this."

His expression was filled with compassion.

Huang Feihu is the great emperor of Mount Tai, not only the head of the gods of the three mountains and five mountains, but also because the empress of the earth does not care about common affairs, so the burden of being in charge of the underworld falls on him.

It can be said that Huang Feihu must be the one with the highest status and power among the gods in the world.

If he wants to enter the underworld, he must obtain his consent, even... the consent of the one above him.

"Enter the underworld?" Huang Feihu frowned.

The eighteen levels of hell punish those who did evil in their lifetime and let them suffer the consequences of their evil deeds, so that they can go to the six realms of reincarnation to reincarnate.

The Ksitigarbha King came to save these wronged souls and dispel their grievances so that they can be reincarnated. To be honest, this is a great act of kindness with immeasurable merits. However, his Buddhist identity is too sensitive, so Huang Feihu had to be very vigilant.

The Ksitigarbha King said: "Your Majesty, what the poor monk wants to do is not to do anything else, but to recite a few scriptures to the souls every day to eliminate their hostility, and to resolve the soaring resentment in the underworld and give them a chance to reincarnate."

Huang Feihu's eyes flickered and said, "It's just chanting?"

Ksitigarbha King nodded lightly: "It's just chanting sutras, and I ask the Lord to complete it."

After thinking for a moment, Huang Feihu shook his head: "No, the lord of this house can't be the master of this matter. He has to report it to the heaven and obey the Jade Emperor's will."

Ksitigarbha raised his palms and saluted: "For the souls of the underworld, the poor monk is willing to wait here quietly."

Suddenly showing his face and smiling, he said, "Believe me, Jade Emperor, Lao Daoxin, someone is willing to help us save the souls of the underworld and maintain the order and stability of the underworld. Why don't you believe me?"

The Jade Emperor pondered: "What is the explanation for this?"

"The Jade Emperor didn't know that Ksitigarbha was the first person under Sakyamuni who was newly born in Buddhism. He has great wisdom and perseverance, and he has already cultivated wisdom and merit to perfection."

Taishang Laojun said: "As long as he wants to, he can become a Buddha anytime and anywhere, but a Buddha will not go to hell."

"Buddhas don't go to hell?" Jade Emperor stared.

"However, he went down to Lingshan to go to the underworld to rescue those ghosts who died and suffered. This is a great move!"

Taishang Laojun said: "The Jade Emperor also knows that the work in the underworld is very slow, and there are more and more grievances accumulated, if they are not resolved as soon as possible, there will be big problems in the future.

According to the old way, the Jade Emperor might as well confer him something so that he can sit in the underworld and save the souls of wronged people.

If he doesn't accept it, he must have a plan for entering the underworld. If he accepts it, he will be a minister of the heaven. "

After a pause, Taishang Laojun continued: "Besides, there is Empress Houtu sitting in the underworld, what else is the Jade Emperor worried about?"

The Jade Emperor's eyes jumped: "Come here, draw up an order..."

"The Jade Emperor Tianzun has a decree: Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha sacrificed himself to the underworld to save the souls of sentient beings. His merits and virtues are immeasurable and admirable. I am very comforted. I specially bestow the title of King Ksitigarbha. I also hope that Bodhisattva will in the future..."

You Yiling said in an official way, everyone hastily accepted the order after hearing this, and Dizang also raised their palms and listened attentively.

After reading the decree, Ksitigarbha bowed deeply and said, "Thank you, Jade Emperor, for fulfilling it."

"The bodhisattva's act of saving the souls of the hell has immeasurable merit and virtue."

Huang Feihu glanced at Ksitigarbha, and said to the Hades in Fengdu City of the underworld, "Why don't you open the gate quickly and welcome Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva into the palace?"

The meaning of the Jade Emperor is very simple. Simply put, it is okay to let you enter the underworld, but it is enough for you to transform the wronged soul, don't have too many other ideas.

The gate of Fengdu City was opened suddenly, and a strong cloud of Yin Qi surged out from the gate, the clouds were gloomy and the wind was howling.

The underworld is like this, where the spirits gather and are icy cold, and the screams of ghosts are everywhere. It doesn't take long for mortals to freeze into ice sculptures.

Then the King of Hades of the Ten Palaces and the Ghost Emperor of the Five Fangs came out quickly.

"Welcome Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva!"

"Bodhisattva, do you really want to go to hell? The yin energy in this hell is the heaviest in the three realms. If you enter, your real body may be polluted..." Di Ting, who was shaped like a lion, hurriedly said.

"I don't go to hell, who goes to hell?!"

Ksitigarbha stood up slowly and looked towards the Underworld. Buddha light was released from his body to block the Yin Qi. Sanskrit sounded a resolute expression and walked without looking back.

"Go back to Lingshan!"

Di Ting hurriedly followed behind Ksitigarbha: "I will go wherever the master goes."

With a bang, the door slowly closed.

Not long after, the Buddha's light suddenly flourished in Hell, and a voice sounded and even reached the hearts of the gods in the entire Three Realms.

"Hell is not empty, vow not to become a Buddha!

Only when all sentient beings are exhausted can they prove Bodhi! "

Buddhism is famous for making good vows. Simply put, it is to make a vow to the heavens in exchange for something.

According to the gossip he got, the former two great religious leaders in the West also made more than forty great vows before they proved to be the God of Heaven.

It’s just that this vow is not made casually. There is a special method that only the West knows, and it’s not just that anyone can make a vow.

And this wish is easy to make, but it is difficult to repay.

This is like a kind of early consumption, but we all know that this loan is easy to borrow, but it is still difficult. If you want to pay too much, it is not so easy to pay back too much.

But Ksitigarbha is different, his vow does not ask for anything in return, it is more like a determination, I will not become a Buddha until I pass through hell.

Mahayana Buddhism is divided into three types of fruit status, the Bodhisattva is in the middle, and the Buddha is the best.

Long Ji came in and said, "Husband, did you hear the voice just now, who dares to make such a big wish?"

Lu Chuan nodded: "Western Ksitigarbha, uh, it's Ksitigarbha, I forgot, anyway, it's a Bodhisattva in the West, and I admire him for being able to make such a great wish."

Thinking in another way, would he post it if it was him? Lu Chuan felt that he would not be much more insured than he would be.

Which of the sentient beings transformed by the Buddha is not superior, Buddhas and immortals are pure yang bodies, disliked or even gloomy, so who would like to go to the underworld to be eroded by yin qi?

After staying for a long time and being quarreled by evil spirits every day, even the weakest Buddha's heart is easily broken.

"I don't go to hell, whoever goes to hell" is what other Buddhas say, but Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is the only one who really goes to hell to do it.

Even if they are in different positions, Ksitigarbha is much stronger than those Buddhas in terms of daring to go to hell in person.
