Abaddon became mildly irritated when he saw how frugal his gains had become from eating hearts.

He could only guess that his evolution had been the cause of this and his gains would only become increasingly more frugal in the future.

'I need better ways to gain strength...'

Deciding not to focus on that for now, he instead focused his attention to the six remaining vampires who were staring at him fearfully.

"A dream... this has to be dream!"

"He killed Michael so easily?"

"How could he have killed him by eating his heart?!"

"Is it because he's two headed?"

Audrina and Abaddon were the only ones with a full understanding of the battle that had just transpired.

It was only because Michael had underestimated Abaddon and did not know his full capabilities that he was able to kill him without suffering so much as a scratch.

Not to mention that in combat vampires tend to act a bit more recklessly due to their unholy and one-of-a-kind regeneration.

Losing a heart doesn't really mean much when you can grow a new one in under thirty seconds.

If Michael had put only a modicum of effort into defense and not been so arrogant, the fight would have persisted for much longer.

"My queen... what did he just do?" Robyn asked shakily.

"Hm? He killed him, isn't that obvious?" Audrina replied.

"She means how, you big boobed bimbo!" Isabelle screamed.

Instead of taking offense to such a comment, Audrina looked down fondly at her chest.

It was easy to get insecure about her breast size when her husband had wives like Bekka, Valerie, and Lisa, so it was actually rather pleasant to hear such a warm compliment.

"Do you really think they're big?"

"That's not the point! How could he kill Michael so easily when he is- "

"Sister, you insult me." Audrina suddenly said.

Her joyful light disappeared and all that was left behind was a serious demeanor that caused her sibling to step back in fear. "Do you think I would submit myself to a man who was capable of any less than this?"

Isabelle opened and closed her mouth like a fish as she tried to come up with a proper retort, but no words came out.

Audrina merely scoffed before turning her attention towards her husband's back.

"You girls should just wait and see. My husband will show you a great many things that should not be possible."

Abaddon was impatiently waiting for his next challenger to step forward.

After his frightening display earlier, it wasn't much of a surprise that they were hesitant to come forward, especially since they did not understand what he'd done.

"Lost your nerve with one measly death? I thought for sure you all would have a bit more backbone."

No matter how he provoked them, these vampires were unwilling to come forward.

They were not stupid children. It was easy to deduce that he was trying to goad them into a conflict.

"If you will not come to me, I have no problem coming to you."

The dragon's body blurred before he reappeared in front of a random vampire lord.

"I'll start with you."

The one Abaddon had chosen was unsurprisingly, Jasper.

Just as Abaddon flung out his fist to pierce the vampire's chest, Jasper put up both arms to defend himself.

Bang!

The resulting collision sent Jasper skidding back a few feet, a mad smile on his face.

'He's strong!' With one blow, he had almost broken both of his arms.

Jasper no longer cared about waiting to understand Abaddon's powers.

A strong opponent was in front of him, and he would not be able to live with himself if he did not fight with everything he had.

But there was still one problem...

"I'll challenge you, sure. But I don't care about the throne. When I win, I'll be taking Audrina!" he said with a mocking smile.

Audrina immediately knew that her husband was about to lose control.

There was very little that upset him in all honesty, but lecherous eyes upon herself and the rest of his wives was always a surefire way to spark his ire.

"Guard your minds." She warned the women at her side. "My husband will not be in the right state of mind to exclude you from his powers."

Before Kirina, Isabella, Robyn or Alicia could ask what she meant, a massive column of purple fire shot into the artificial sky.

Everyone reflexively took a step back from the sheer heat of the flames and in that moment, they heard the most terrifying voice imaginable.

"Mosquitoes... there are always fucking mosquitoes buzzing around my women. It is incessant, and inescapable...."

Within the column of smoldering flames, three red and purple eyes could be seen glowing with pure hate.

"It is maddening beyond belief... even killing you a million times over would not satiate my rage..."

When the enormous column of flames dispersed, the vampires were all overcome with an indescribable feeling of despair.

It was as if a creature from within their darkest nightmares had suddenly come to life right in front of them.

A massive, black skinned demon with mystifying glowing tattoos and four powerful arms.

The crown of horns adorned on his head were somehow both demonic and draconic, making him seem like a ruler of both species.

After Abaddon's bloodline skill evolved, he gained the ability to freely imbue his enemies with dread no matter what form he was in.

Merely being within a mile of him when he was in this state could arouse a deep sense of primal fear, capable of freezing even these beings dead in their tracks.

Sometimes, even if you understand that you shouldn't be afraid of something, that does little to actually stop you from being afraid of it.

Such a conundrum was now plaguing the minds of these ancient and powerful vampires.

Realistically, they knew they shouldn't be afraid.

Even if Abaddon was unlike anything they had ever seen, he was still a being who had only evolved once.

Surely he couldn't really hurt them as long as they did not let their guard down, right?

Yet no matter how much they recited those words in their minds, it did nothing to calm them.

"H-He's a monster..."

"What is this..."

"Please make it stop, make it stop!"

Audrina glanced briefly at the vampires who had been caught unawares by her husband's nasty little ability.

The result was a complete loss of hope, ambition, and will to live.

Even Robyn and Alicia, who had been warned sufficiently were struggling to remain standing, and poor Isabelle had already hit the ground sobbing.

Audrina's hand suddenly glided to the crest tattoo on her pubic area. It seemed like this was the reason why even when she was looking right at her husband, she felt nothing other than her usual sense of arousal.

The only one who seemed to be at least partially unaffected other than Audrina was Jasper.

When he felt the weakness that was attempting to flood his mind, he bit down hard on his tongue to maintain his focus.

"Someone's a bit mad, huh? That's fine! Getting all big like that will only make you easier to hit!"

To prove his point, Jasper withdrew a pair of twin sickles connected by a pitch black chain.

He immediately rushed Abaddon with blinding speed that easily broke the sound barrier.

Twirling his weapons around, he channeled a current of bright blue electricity into his weapons.

He'd already seen earlier that Abaddon could turn his body into pure lightening, so he needed to utilize his own to counteract the effect.

Jasper swung his blades with masterful efficiency and stabbed Abaddon in his heart and one of his lungs.

Black blood began to flow from his wounds and all of the vampires stiffened simultaneously.

Abaddon's blood was unlike any they had ever smelled before and a single whiff was enough to cause them to salivate.

"I expected quite a bit more after all of that bravado earlier." Jasper mockingly stared up at Abaddon as he basked in his victory.

Monstrous though they may be dragons cannot survive a direct attack to such a vital organ as the heart.

He was certain that with this final attack he had felled this arrogant beast and claimed the woman he so desired.

Just as Jasper opened his mouth once more to gloat, Abaddon's third eye flashed before it fired a devastating beam of red energy.

Jasper narrowly avoided having the entirety of his upper body disintegrated without a trace.

As he took a massive leap backwards, he could not help but finally let his awe get the better of him when he saw that not only was Abaddon healing at a speed visible to the naked eye, but he was unfazed by his previous attack as well.

"What kind of monster...?"

Just as Jasper landed back onto the ground, his opponent rushed forward to meet him with two massive scaly fists.

Again, the vampire threw up his hands to protect himself and became alarmed when his arms were easily broken.

'The fuck!? Why did he get stronger all of a sudden?!'

To compare Abaddon's strength from before and his strength now was like comparing that of a baby and a fully grown man.

The difference was so big that it was almost laughable.

Realizing he could no longer hope to have a contest of strength with the berserk dragon, Jasper instead focused on out speeding him by any means necessary.

The vampire's body became a blur and he whipped around Abaddon's body, looking for an opening.

As his body was encircled, Abaddon attempted something that until now he'd only considered in theory.
